CHAPTER 15

"Lady Shin is into you", said Sunwo while laying down on his bed.

"What? Lady Shin?", asked Sung Tae with surprise.

"I cleared myself.... She accepted what I said", said Yoon.

"But isn't it interesting? That's why everyone talking about him outside", said Sung Tae.

"Wait did you two become close?", asked Yeong looking at Sung Tae and Yoon.

"Well it's end with that sword fight", said Yoon with a smile.

"But still you should respect me", said Sung Tae.

"I will.... Master", said Yoon and they all giggled when the door slammed open. They looked towards the door and saw Lee Eunshi.

He ignored them and went to his bed. 

"Hey Lee Eunshi where were you?", asked Yoon.

"Don't annoy me...", said Lee and covered himself from the blanket.

"Why you always remain so aloof?", asked Yoon taking away his blanket.

"Why Can't I? You all are annoying and I think I shouldn't be involved with you all especially you", said Lee looking at Yoon and snatched his blanket from Yoon. 

"Leave him so where were we?", said Yeong.

"That what make Lady Shin fall for Yoon", said Sunwo.

"I just helped her.....I mean that day when the task was given. I was finding her when I fell in her room because I was chased by some women. There I saw her with a man which wasn't a good sight at all. I just give her my robe to cover herself", said Yoon.

"Oh that's why... Btw you should be on alert. She told me that someone wants to harm you", said Sunwo.

"Who?", asked Yeong.

"I don't know...neither she", said Sunwo....."but don't worry I'll look into that....Sung Tae will help me"and looked at him.



"Why would I ?", asked Sung Tae.

"Because you care for him", said Sunwo and winked at Yoon. They all giggled. 

"Can't you just stop? I'm sleeping here...can't you all see I'm sleeping here", shouted Lee in annoyance.

Sunwo got up from his bed and went towards Lee. He got close to Lee.

"What are you doing?", asked Lee and glared at him.

Sunwo with his fan caressed his cheek and whispered in his ear, "Do you think your secret is unknown to everyone outside?"

Lee looked at him with surprise.

"Don't be surprised. There's no secret that can be hidden from me so it will be better to help us like a teammate and a friend", said Sunwo and tapped at his shoulder with his fan.

"What are you whispering in his ear?",asked Yeong.

"Nothing...just telling him about a secret", said Sunwo and got up from Lee's bed.

"It's not needed. Don't Do anything for me. I'll manage", said Yoon.

"Yoon Shik do you think you can be a scholar that easily?", said Sunwo looking at him.

"I know that won't be easy but why would you all want to protect me?", asked Yoon.

"Because I want to have some fun. I like playing such games", said Sunwo.

"Don't kid with him", said Sung Tae.

"Okay time to get serious... I've found something that's not good", said Sunwo.

"What?", mumbled Yoon.

"Didn't you see your cousin here? He's from Chungin class. Then you should also be but you're not. Why?", said Sunwo looking at all of them.

"How is this related to problem?", asked Yoon with a confused look.

"Yoon your identity is unknown. I found that your mother ran away from her house with you and your sister and came here. Your father isn't the one whom you registered in the exam", said Sunwo. 

"But how's this related to that?", asked Yoon.

"Yoon you didn't reveal your real identity. I mean  your real father's name and your class. Your mother's image will be tarnished and your sister can be in danger", said Sunwo.

"What?", said Yoon in disbelief.

"Don't make him frighten", said lee.

"Sunwo has never been wrong in his investigation.....", said Yeong.

"But.."

"Yoon you picked the favour of king because you mentioned your class as Sangmin", said Sunwo with a concerning look.

"You are thinking too much", said Lee and suddenly the door opened up with a bang and there entered the military officer with several guards. 

Lee and others immediately stood up from their beds. 

"Kim Yoon Shik.... You've to come with us", said the officer and gestured the guards.

Other scholars were also come there seeing the commotion.

"Wait....May we know why?", asked Yeong.

"For giving false information regarding his class. He has to be summoned before criminal department, young master", said the officer and commanded his guards to take away Yoon and in seconds Yoon was gone away.

"What just happened?", said Lee in surprise.

Lee, Sunwo, Sung Tae and Yeong looked at each other.

"Now what?", asked Sung Tae.

"Father is in criminal department.... I'll talk to him", said Yeong.

"Don't.... King has given the orders", said Lee.

"Then?", asked Yeong.

"I'll tell you tomorrow..", said Lee.

"You act as if you're the nation's head.....we don't even know your capabilities", said Sung Tae.

Lee looked at him and then walked out from the room. 

"We're not playing a show here", said Sunwo to the scholars who were at their room's door. 

"Hani", mumbled Yeong.

"We can't do anything for now", said Sung Tae.

"Well of course we can. The winner of the game can ask for a wish according to the teacher...", said Sunwo looking at Yeong.

"Wait....you", murmured Sung Tae.

"You're right....let's go", said Sunwo encircling his arms around their shoulder and walked out with them.

"Hey hey...just let me", before Yoon could say anything he was thrown inside the jail. He hit at its door in anger and then sat on the floor. "Hani, father", murmured Yoon.

"They aren't here.... I checked the house", said Yeong.

"They've been already taken by the guards...", said Sung Tae.

"What now?", asked Yeong looking at Sunwo.

"I know what to do.....let's go for now", said Sunwo.

"Let's go", said the guard and woke up Yoon.

Yoon opened his eyes and the guards dragged him out.

"Why are we going to palace?", asked Yoon from the guard.

But the guard didn't reply and keep on walking towards the palace ground and he was thrown on the ground with his head down.

He raised his head and saw his father and sister on the other side.

"Leave me...", shouted Yoon and got up but he was beaten by the guard.

"Oppa...", shouted Hani.

The King and other ministers came there and get seated on their seats. 

"Your majesty they've nothing to do with that....please release them", said Yoon with pleading eyes.

"Your majesty, Kim Yoon shik is charged with the forged documents that he has submitted during the exam. He got your favour by showing wrong class while he's a Chungin..... Your majesty such being shouldn't deserve to be in the Sungkyunwan", said one of the minister who's the head of justice department head (Yeong's father).

"This is wrong....", said Yoon.

"Hh....Your majesty you can confirm this by yourself by this person", said Park Jangeum pointing to Yoon's father who was held tight by the other guard.

"Is it true that you made his class Sangmin despite the fact he's a born Chungin", asked the King.

"Yes your majesty but...", before he could complete his sentence Park Jangeum said, "Your majesty this person married an already married woman with two kids...."

"This is a lie....my mother never did that. My mother was killed that night....He just adopted us", said Yoon loudly glaring at Jangeum.

"Your majesty.... This fact can be proven by his birth father who is here", said Park Saeju( the internal affairs minister).

"Summon him here", ordered the king.

Yoon's father, Kim Sam Sun enter the ground. He bowed down before the king.

"Your majesty my wife Yoona was seeing this man during our marriage days too. We're from a different village. Yoona was from this village and we used to come here once a year. This man lived beside their house. I never knew they both will do such a shameful thing.....", said Sam Sun.

"How dare you to such bad words about my mother? Your majesty he never respected my mother.....he's the one because of whom we were forced to leave our home", said Yoon.

"How dare you to lie?", said Jangeum with a loud voice.

"Your majesty we've other people too in the village to confirm this", said Jangeum.

Some 5 villagers came there and agreed with Sam Sun.

"Your majesty apart from this the landlord of the village is also here. 9 years ago the woman and this man went to him for work and money. As Yoona was already in debt he refused the money to them..... She had no money with her so she decided to sell her daughter as a servant to the landlord.....", said Saeju.

Yoon couldn't believe his ears because every one was lying in the court. 

"Summon the landlord", ordered the king. 

"Your majesty this is true. Here I've that document too in which that woman out her thumb impression about selling her daughter to me.... But since they were kids I left them. Your majesty now is the time to deal with that..... I want that girl to be my servant....please give me justice too", said the landlord.

"Kim Yoon Shik I never thought you would do this..... I've to be unbiased in my decision", said the king.

"Leave my sister.....she has nothing to do with this...I'll pay off every single penny of the landlord....Your majesty they all are lying about the other facts", said Yoon with pleading eyes.

"Your majesty this child is again deviating you. Please do the justice with all the people and show them one shouldn't do such a thing in future...The man should be given death penalty", said Park Jangeum.

"His mother indeed do the crime. Also his current father forged the documents regarding the class. 

Since the girl has reached the age she have to fulfil the duty, of being his servant. Yoon Shik will no longer be in Sungkyunwan... He can't give this exam ever again ", ordered the king.

Hani was crying badly hearing this, so is her father.

"The court is dismissed...", said the king and got up when Noh Eunho came there with a bureaucrat. They both bowed down before the king.
