CHAPTER 1

"Please don't do this", said a woman with broken voice. Tears were pouring down all her face while her husband didn't listen a single word of him. 

"My brother's wife is a nice woman. She will help us honey", said the husband.

"What are you saying? She didn't give you a single penny when our son was sick", said the woman.

"Just shut up... I know you despise my family but it doesn't mean I will do the same. If you keep on nagging me then I'll throw you out", said the man and snatched his daughter from his wife's hands.

Their eldest son Kim Yoon Shik who was 10 years old at that time was seeing this incident, the fight between his parents. He ran towards his father and snatched her sister from his hand and said, "father we're leaving....I will never let you allow to give my sister to those bastards. I don't want her to be like their slaves". Yoon Shik grabbed her mother's hand and told her to go away with them.

"Yoon Shik do you think you can live all alone in this world? Because of me you all exist....come here and don't do argues else", said his father.

Yoon Shik saw his dad with abhorrence in his eyes and said, "My mother has raised me this well that we can survive in this world very well". He carried her sister on her back and grabbed her mother's hand in his.

"Son it's good. Let them go away..", said the namesaked grand mother of Yoon Shik.

"Mother let's go", said Yoon Shik.

His mother with tears in her eyes stepped out with her son and daughter from that house. She was crying profusely not able to understand where they will go. So she decided to go back to her husband and seek for apologies.

"Son let's go back..... We've no one other than your father in this world", said his mother.

"Mother they will take my sister away.....", said Yoon Shik.

His mother Yoona looked into her son's eyes and then thought...

"Yoon is saying right. If he had loved us then this day never came". She carried her daughter from Yoon's back.

"Mother don't", said Yoon.

"Let's go son....far away from here", said Yoona wiping her tears and then her daughter's tears.

They walked in the lone streets at the dark night and found a cart at the end of the main road. 

"Brother how much will you take to go to the palace city?", asked Yoona from the cart owner.

"2 silver coins", said the cart rider.

Yoona took out 2 silver coins from her small cloth bag.

"Brother here is one silver coin...when we reach there I'll give you another".

"Okay....don't You have other bags to carry?", asked the cart rider.

"No.....", replied Yoona.

Yoon Shik got into the cart with her mother and sister and they left the village. Tears were flowing from Yoona's eyes as the village was left behind.

"Don't cry mother", said the little girl.

"Hani", said Yoona and embraced her in a warm hug. Yoon Shik too hugged her mother.

"Sister we're in the city", said the cart rider. Yoona came out of the cart with her children and gave the other silver coin to the cart rider. He thanked her and went away.

"We will go to my mother's home", said Yoona. Yoon Shik carried her sister on his back and they started walking.

"Brother the city is so beautiful", said Hani.

Yoona smiled seeing her children happy faces. They reached in front of a house which wasn't in good condition. Yoona saw her mother in the front of house. She ran to her and hugged her tightly. Seeing her daughter and her grandchildren she became happy but there was concern too.

"Why are you so pale?", asked Yoona's mother. She understood that something has happened. She took them inside. 

"Yoon Shik take your sister to the that room.....", said his grandma.Yoon Shik walked out towards the other room with his sister.

"What happened?"

"Mother I left that house", said Yoona.

"What did he say?"

"He was giving away my daughter to his elder brother", said Yoona while crying.

"You did good that you come here..... Don't worry I'm with you", said her mother and embraced her.

"Where are the brothers?", asked Yoona.

"They left this place 1 year ago.... They now live in other village. Let them be.....", said her mother.

"Oppa let's go out....I want to play", said Hani holding the little finger of his brother Yoon Shik.

"Hani we don't know much about this place. Let me ask mother then we will go", said Yoon Shik and set the things there.

"Yoon Shik, Hani come have some breakfast", said their grandmother. They ran towards the kitchen and start eating.

"Hani watch out your mouth. Come I'll help you in eating", said Yoon and took the bowl from her hand and helped her in eating.

Yoona smiled seeing them.

After finishing their meals and freshening up Yoon Shik asked her mother if he can go out with his sister as she wants to troll the city.

"Sure....but don't be late....come home early", said Yoona.

"Mother we will be on time.....don't worry", said Yoon Shik and held her sister hand and walked out of the room.

"Mother I'm going out to the field. I'll come in the noon", said Yoona and grabbed the sickle and other things and walked away.
