Zara's POV.

After our very sumptuous breakfast that consisted of grilled chicken, seasonal veggies, chicken caesar salad and a chocolate filled cake for dessert.

Lovely breakfast, I know. Jason sure knows the way to a girls heart.

Only your heart Zara. We all know you will do anything for food.

And how is that a bad thing, you silly little coconut.

Anyways, after the lovely breakfast that was served by nobody else but that bitchy receptionist Ciara. Yes, her name is Ciara. Even her name is bitchy.

She was really shocked to see me with Jason, so shocked that she almost dropped my chocolate cake but I was quick to rescue the plate from falling because I couldn't afford to let that pretty cake go to waste.

Or because you might burst into tears if it had dropped?

Tears? C'mon, I will never cry because of food. I just don't like when people waste food, it is not good manners. And it was chocolate cake, some people can die for chocolate.

Like my best friend Lucy.

That girl is a frigging chocolate freak. You can buy that girls loyalty with a KitKat bar.

We are on our way to only God know where because Jason has refused to tell me where we are heading to.

"Where did you say we are heading to again?" I ask him and he lets out a laugh.

"Nice try Zara." He says.

I shrug "It didn't hurt to try."

We continue the drive in silence and then I realize that the route seemed familiar.

"Are we... Are we going to the arcade?" I ask him practically bouncing on my seat.

"Bingo! Someone is smart." He says laughing at me.

"But how?" I ask him.

The game arcade is like my favorite place to go. I and Lucy used to come here every fucking day when we were in high school and even college. It was like the one place where we could let loose and forget about every damn thing.

"I called Lucy and she told me how much you love coming here." He simply says.

I stare at his face for a while unsure of how to feel about the fact that he called Lucy and asked her.

Why was he doing this?

"But why?" I ask him.

He shrugs "This is just my way of apologizing to you for being insensitive the other time. I shouldn't have said what I said." He says squirming in his seat like he wasn't comfortable.

He didn't exactly say the sorry word but this will have to do.

Don't push it, Zara.

I clear my throat "You are forgiven... I guess." I say

"You guess?" He asks as he pulls into the parking lot and parks the car.

"Yeah, it all depends on if you can do the pump it up game." I tell grinning widely.

He nodded slowly "It can't be that hard. I am sure I can pull it off." He says.

"Great. This is going to be so much fun." I squeal practically jumping out of the car with Jason in tow.

"You might want to slow down a little bit, Zara." He says laughing at me.

"We are going to have so much fun. After doing pump it game we are going to play pinball and then we are going to play basketball and then we will play that Mario game... What is the name again? I really can't remember and then we have to play that car game... You know the one where you have to control the car and the the motorcycle one too, the one where you have to sit on the bike and control it so...."

Jason grabs my shoulder and shakes me lightly.

"Calm down, Zara. You are getting over excited and you are talking so fast that you are not even making any sense. Now calm down and let us go in there and have fun." He says smiling down at me.

How is he still taller than me even in my heels?

"Sorry, I just got too excited." I say smiling sheepishly.

I always get overly excited when it comes to games. I get excited over games the way Lucy does over chocolate. We are like the perfect pair.

Jason wraps his hand around my shoulders and guides us inside. I try not to shudder at how close he is.

"You wait here. I will go and purchase the coins." He says before leaving me alone.

I rock on the heel of my shoes and try not to let my excitement show. The place is really busy for a Wednesday morning. There are a lot of kids in here with they parent guiding them around and they is this little girl doing that 3D stuff.

You know that stuff where you wear this glasses-like thing and then you have to pick which genre you want. They are different genres like horror, romance, comedy and so on. The images will be surreal it will almost look like you are actually living it.

It is obvious the little girl is definitely not doing the horror thing because she was laughing so much.

"Come on. Which on do we do first?" Jason says when he returned with our coins.

"Let us dance." I tell him smiling broadly. I grab his hand and practically pull him to the pump it game machine. I pull off my heels and insert the coins in the machine.

"How does this work?" Jason asks.

"You just have to follow these steps right there and you can't miss any step... We lose points if you miss any step." I explain to him. I know I am not the best at explaining things but how do you explain a game to someone.

After ten failed attempts at dancing we finally moved to the basketball point.

Ten failed attempt. How hard is it to dance?

Turns out Jason has two left legs and can't even dance to save his life. He didn't admit it though. He kept saying that the dancing thing was too complicated and all those bullshit.

What is too complicated about a pump it game?

I get it. His very big ego won't let him accept the fact that he can't dance... At all.

"Stop sulking, Zara. The dance thing is just too complicated." He says and I wave him off.

"I still can't believe it. We tried ten good times Jason." I say.

"It is not my fault that I can't dance." He says shrugging his shoulders.

"So what? You mean you won't dance at our wedding?" I ask him with my hands placed on my waist.

"Uhh...am I supposed to?" He asks scratching the back of his neck.

"You know what is wrong with that question of yours?" I ask him raising my eyebrows.

I thought I told you to stop doing that.

Shut up silly. I don't have the time to deal with you.

"What?" Jason asks.

"Everything. Everything is wrong." I literally scream at him making him flinch back.

"You won't dance at our wedding? I know it is an arranged marriage but why won't you dance? Dancing is a necessity, just like the vows are a necessity. You have to dance, you must dance and..."

"Umm... Zara." He starts.

"I am not done talking yet Jason. How do you not know how to dance? Didn't you take dancing classes when you were little or..." I didn't realize that I was already drawing people's attention to us until Jason practically lifts me off my feet and carry me outside the place.

"Why are you so mad? It was just a dance." He asks gently placing me on my feet or rather heels.

I really don't know why I exploded back there. I mean it wasn't even his fault that he doesn't know how to dance and that he has never tried the game before. He is just here in an effort to apologize to him and I went ballistic on him.

I even went as far as talking about our marriage. I started talking about dancing at our wedding in a frigging game arcade. What the fuck was I thinking?

That is the thing Zara, you weren't thinking.

"Sorry, I don't know why I lost my cool back there." I apologize.

"It is fine. I would be mad at me too if I were you." He says shrugging his shoulders.

"But still..." I trail off

"Are we still going back in there or what?" He asks.

"Hell no. They must all think I am some crazy bitch." I tell him and he starts laughing.

"Okay then, we will just look for something else to do, something that doesn't involve dancing." He says shuddering a little at the dancing part.

"But still... How can you not know how to dance? It isn't that hard..." He interrupts me.

"Don't start." He warns and I flash him a sheepish smile.

We walk to towards the car together and he opens the passenger door for me helping me into the car before going back to the driver side.

That was so sweet.

Nah, he just did what any gentleman would.

Way to ruin the moment, you smart ass.

"One more thing..." Jason starts turning to face me from where he is sitting.

"What?" I ask him and he smiles before bringing out a small dark red  ring box from his pocket.

"Your engagement ring. I picked it out for you and thought of giving it to you myself instead of sending it through your parents." He says opening the small box, revealing a really simple engagement band with a little love diamond on it. It sparkled when the sun hit it.

"We can have it changed if you don't like it, I just thought you might like something simple. I am so stupid for not..."

"Hey. I like it okay." I tell him stopping him from his little rant.

He smiles before removing the ring from the box "May I?"

I nod my head and hold out my hand for him to put the ring on me. It fit perfectly and it looks really pretty on my fingers.

"Thank you." I whisper before kissing his cheeks lightly.

It wasn't exactly the kind of proposal I always dream of but this will just have to do.
