LOGINZara's POV.
"So... How was your date?" Lucy asks bouncing on her bed.
We are currently in Lucy's room. I came here immediately after my...outing with Jason.
I can call it outing right? I mean, it wasn't a date.
My best friend doesn't understand the fact that it was just an outing.
"It wasn't a date Lucy." I tell her and she rolls her eyes at me.
"Whatever but I am calling it a date. Well? How was it?" She asks eagerly.
"It was good, I guess. I drove his car, Lucy. The frigging latest Aston Martin and it was so smooth and beautiful and I don't know, the car is just awesome. The engine was so smooth and..."
"I asked you about your date and not about a fucking car. Who cares about the car?" She interrupts me glaring at me.
"Ohh... I just thought that I should give you all the details you know." I tell her.
"I want all the details but not about a car. Why did you even drive? Your dad forbade you from driving." She says.
"He doesn't have to know about it." I tell her shrugging.
"Okay, now tell me about the date." She commands.
I take a deep breath and then start narrating the whole thing to her. I tell her about the awesome breakfast and then about Ciara, the bitchy receptionist. I tell her about the game arcade too and how Jason was a hopeless dancer.
"We tried it ten times Lucy and he didn't even get one step right. I lost my cool in the arcade and I did the craziest thing ever, I started talking about our wedding in the fucking game arcade. I started lecturing him about how important dancing is in a wedding..."
"No, you didn't." Lucy says laughing.
"I did okay and I was drawing attention to us, he tried to stop me from talking but I wasn't having any of it until he carried me out of the arcade..."
"He carried you? Gosh, that is so romantic." Lucy drawls placing her hands on her chest.
"Just stop it, Lucy. What is romantic about being carried?" I ask her.
"Everything. Don't you watch those movies where the guy carries the girl and they..."
"Stop right there. This is reality Lucy and not one of those sappy romantic movies we watch." I remind her.
"Whatever." She says, pouting her lips.
"As I was saying, I apologized to him for losing my cool and we decided to just do something else which we didn't end up doing anything because he had some business he had to take care of all of a sudden. And yeah, he gave me my engagement ring." I conclude waving my fingers for her to see the ring.
She stares at me in total silence for a while and then she lets out a really loud scream. I cover her mouth immediately to stop her from screaming.
"Why the hell did you scream like that?" I ask her.
Good thing the rooms here are sound proofed.
"He proposed to you and you didn't think to mention that first." She says turning my hand from side to side, I guess to get a better view of the ring.
"He didn't propose Lucy, he just gave me my ring that is all." I tell her.
"He didn't ask you to marry him?" She asks and I nod.
"I don't see any reason why he should ask, I mean our marriage has been fixed already." I tell her.
"The ring is so pretty. Did he pick it out himself?" She asks.
"He said he did." I reply.
"I can't believe you are getting married soon, I always thought we were going to get married at the same time, on the same day but look at me still single and definitely not searching and you are all set to get married." She cries fanning her face dramatically.
When we were little we planned how we were going to fall in love and what how wedding will be like. We decided we would hold our wedding the same day and that we would even give birth on the same day. That was when we were still ten and didn't know better.
"As your maid of honor, I am going to have to plan your bachelorette party so tell me should I get hot male strippers and..."
"Hold that thought Lucy. I don't want a bachelorette party, it isn't necessary." I interrupt her.
"But... Who doesn't want a bachelorette party?" She asks.
"Zara doesn't want one." I tell her.
I don't have anything against bachelorette parties. I just don't feel the need to dress up and go to a club, watch guys strip and then get drunk and wake up with a hangover.
"Okay but we are definitely throwing you a baby shower when you get pregnant." She says nonchalantly.
"What the heck? Who is getting pregnant? I am not even married yet and you are already talking about pregnancy." I whisper-yell at her.
"What? You will get pregnant eventually or... Don't tell me you..." She trails off.
"I don't love him Lucy. How am I supposed to do it with him?" I ask her and she stares at me for a while opening and closing her mouth like she was in shock.
"You don't exactly need love to do it Zara. Have you seen that guy? He is so frigging hot and he is like sex on legs, I assure you that you don't need to be in love with him to go all down and dirty with him." She says hotly.
"Look at you talking like..."
"Don't go there. I haven't done it yet because I haven't seen any hot guy that actually makes me want to do it but your case is different, you have been saving your V-card for your husband. You have always wanted your first time to be with your husband and now you are about to get married so it is only right that you get some." She says all in one breath.
"I know that, it is just that I used to think that I would be getting married to someone I love but now..."
"You can't tell me that you don't feel any attraction towards that guy. If you are going to make this marriage work at all you are going to have to marry him with an open heart. I am not asking you to ahead and have sex with him immediately. All I am asking is for you to keep an open heart and give him and yourself a chance. Who knows if you guys are actually meant to be." She says.
I can't deny the fact that there is some sort of attraction between us but Jason is not a one woman person. He is always seen with a different woman everyday. What will happen to me if I end up becoming the wife of that billionaire that her husband is always out carrying woman around? What happens if I end up falling for his infamous charms and he ends up breaking me, what will I do then?
"I don't know Lucy." I whisper.
She nods her head while pulling me into a hug. I wrap my hand around her waist and rest my head on her shoulders.
"Everything will fall into place soon Zara. You don't have to worry your pretty head." She says her shoulders shaking lightly with laughter.
"I hope so." I whisper.
"It will be okay but can we worry about the wedding for now. We have a lot of things to take care of. We have to pick out your dress and..."
I tune her out after that. This conversation of ours just made the whole marriage thing even more real.
I just hope everything will be fine.
Zara's POV.Holy macaroni!!
Jason's POV.Zara, my soon-to-be-bride is by far the most beautiful and sexy girl I have ever seen. She carries her self with so much grace and confidence and that alone was enough to turn me on.
