Ambitious, deep, decent woman, and a Filipina.

Jezcyl Lorenzo is an excellent student of her university, a top university in their town. She often thrive for the best. She is determined for whatever she do and she believes that things must be taken seriously.

Her family is living a simple life and she has saved a lot of dreams for them. One time came, Jezcyl never thought that the day she woke up would be different from her ordinary days. Once in a lifetime opportunity knocks on their door. She was very excited and at the same time, she was sad believing that she won’t have the chance.

She wanted to be an exchange student in Vancouver, Canada.

However, luck must be with her. She was chosen. It was the day she felt so blessed. Countless smile, non-quantifiable excitement, overflowing gratefulness were all with her. One of her dreams came true. Who wouldn’t be happy with that?

Everybody congratulated her and coming along with their felicitations, were their bid of goodbyes. Six months is a half year. That’s how long she’d be gone in her country. But for her dreams, all are ought to be overcame. She needs to be brave, she needs to endure, and she needs to fight.

Walking down the airplane, seeing an altered atmosphere, and intermingling with a new crowd are bringing her different feelings. They’re blending emotions, scary and stimulating simultaneously.

She left the dawn and came at dusk. It was Jezcyl’s first time abroad and in her first night was a bother to her. She’s looking forward that her aunt’s family would welcoming her and yet, appears that there’s a party. As she came out of the car, their eyes were on her. It was the most awkward situation for her. Mayhap, people were staring at her because she got a different face and aura. She came from another race, after all.

She puff out the heavy feeling she’s carrying since she stepped out of the car. Her cousin introduced her to his friends and that time, no one knows how tongue-tied she was. As she wandered around, a pair of an ocean-blue eyes met with hers. Her heart pounded so much that it seems to burst out of her body.

The man with a perfect shaped-face, Jezcyl can clearly define his jawline when it moves. He has thick eyebrows scattered equally. His lashes are long and curled, down to his eyes, atypical coloured ocean-blue. It looks like she’s staring at a wide ocean with crystal water, glittering when hit with the sunrays. She felt insecure when she saw his nose, her nose is sharp but not as sharp as his. His lips gave impressions to Cupid’s bow. Was it moulded by it?

All in all, he’s an example of a digital art. Made by someone to be perfect as it is.

She re-routed her eyes. She can’t stand contemplating with his eyes. The man’s radiance is menacing and with just a single glimpse, her heart is throbbing extremely much.

So unusual for her.

While staying in Vancouver, she promised herself to live a low key life. And yet, she never considered of being close with him or even having an interaction with the man. But a single creepy game linked them together.

People are distant with him.

Why?

People are cautious with him.

Why?

People are warning her with him.

Why?

Who is he?

What is his role in her life?

Would he make her bad?

Or perhaps,

Would she make him better?

And I guess there are already five of us who discussed in front.I am just quiet here, sitting, and watching them. I was observing these people and that is one of the manners I have, I tend to know people by just watching at them. But of course, I cannot really know them if I wouldn’t hang out with these people.“Okay, we heard about the North Americans here in Canada, Brazil in South America, Italy and Spain in Europe, then in Africa, the Saudi Arabia.
