All Chapters of Orphan: Chapter 1 - Chapter 10

t's Monday morning, the sun is shining bright. Today is going to be a special day. Why? Because it's adoption day. I live in a small room, crammed with junk that I have collected from the floor, waste from the bins, and just anything I can find my hands on that doesn't look too shabby.  I share my room with four other kids, don't know why I call them kids, when I am the youngest of them all. The oldest one, Jason, his Seventeen. He is tall and lean with chocolate brown hair, and crystal blue eyes. I am like half his height. The other two kids are Kirstin and Clarke, aged nine and twelve. Kirstin is dark with very messy hair that covers her face. I rarely see her eyes but from memory it's black. Clarke on the other hand is like the total opposite of Kirstin, pale with curly ginger hair and always has

""Take your time silly."I ran back towards the older kids, I was no longer worried about the crazy lady. I was going to be adopted and my number one priority was to let Sister Maria and my friends know.I don't know if I will ever have the opportunity to see them again. I would feel like I cheated them if they returned to the room and I was not there anymore.Jason will be on the far right and Kristen and Clarke shouldn't be too far away.  I must have slept for ages because when I opened my eyes, it was completely dark. The only light came from the car which didn't extend far at all.We were in the middle of nowhere, there was not a single soul. It was completely deserted. Surrounding us, no matter where I looked was mountains of sand. We were in a desert. "Oh, You're awake. We'll be there soon. You might not see it just yet but look over there, do you see it?"I must have been still half asleep, because it took a while before I managed to glimpse at what Giovanni was pointing to. In the distance, there was a like a small glimmer of light getting brighter as we drove closer.
