I purposely said that to give Kathie and Daniel some time to talk to each other, it's been long they saw each other. I followed Mrs Williams to the sitting room upstairs.We sat down.Our husbands are outside maybe in the garden discussing.
I think this is the perfect opportunity to discuss my idea with her, if she agree then she will be able to convince her husband.
" Mrs Williams, how is Kathie doin?? I asked.
'" she has been fine" she replied." Kathie has turn to a beautiful young lady" I said smiling. She nodded her head smiling." Don't you think, Kathie is old enough to get married? I asked her." Why do you asked? She asked." What I mean is she is the only heir to all your properties, she will need a man in her life " i told her." Well I know but am worried about her I don't want her to get married to a wrong man who will marry her because of her wealth.. her happiness is my priority" she said worriedly.I smiled.
I think am heading somewhere." So what do you intend to do? I asked her.
" I and my husband will get her to marry someone whom we trust, we will choose a man for her" she said." Does she have any man in her life now? I asked." Well I think she does but hasn't introduce him to me yet" she said." Okay" i said." But I can't trust an outside with my darling" she said worriedly."Well Mrs Williams, if you don't mind, I have an idea" I said."Okay, tell me" she said." Well I was thinking why don't we get Kathie and Daniel married to each other. I mean we have been friends for a very long time, we are best friends and so is our husbands, we trust each other so much. We are like a family to each other. Even I don't trust ladies out there, most of them are golddigger, they only want Daniel's money..I just want him to be Happy... And since we don't trust an outsider why don't you let our children get married? It will strengthen our relationship and friendship" I explained to her. She nodded her head reasoning with me.She smiled." I never thought of this, thank you for this , Daniel is a good boy and like a son to me, I believe Kathie will be happy with him" she said." Kathie is a wonderful daughter to me, let's get them married to each other" i said." Am with you on this, but I will have to inform my husband" she said." Okay no problem" i said smiling.Now I have been able to convince her I hope her husband agree to.🍭 Mr Williams POV 🍭
I sat down in the garden with Donald discussing." Are you still worried about Daniel" I asked." Yes" he answered worriedly." Daniel is such a good boy" i told him." Good boy indeed, so how is Kathie she has grown into a beautiful young lady" he said with a smile. I laughed." Am even worried about Kathie" i said." What's wrong" he asked." You know Kathie is my only child, I don't want her to make the wrong choice when getting married, I want a man whom trust to marry Kathie, some men are deceptive" I said." Doesn't she have a man in her life? He asked." Well I think she does, but l don't know him yet and can't trust him, he might be there to deceive her" I told him." You are worried about Kathie while am worried about Kathie" he said.I sighed.There was a brief silence." I have an idea" he spoke up breaking the silence." And what is that? I asked." Why don't we get Kathie and Daniel married to each other, I mean we are best friends and business partners , our wives are best friends. We are more than friends to each other..we are like one big family, we know a lot about each other and have been together for years. Daniel is like a son to you. Kathie is like a daughter I never had.. if they unite together it will strengthen our relationship and business. And since they are our heirs probably we can merge our companies together so it will be control and manage by the both of them it will also strengthen their love too" he explained.I smiled." Wow Donald, this is such a wonderful idea, I never thought of this" i said.He laughed.
" So what do you think? He asked." Am in full support of it, we will get them married to each then merge the companies together too" i said with a smile.
He smiled.
" But I will have to inform my wife " i told him.
