" Now let's talk about Kathie and Daniel marriage" Dad said.
Mrs Donald smiled.
Mum nodded her head.
" It is a good thing Daniel and Kathie are getting married, because it will strengthen our bond and we will be together forever" Mr Donald said.
" Am happy about this" mum
" Daniel, do you agree on marrying Kathie??
His mum asked.
" Yes mum" he answered.
She smiled.
" Kathie, do you agree to marry Daniel
" Yes, I said.
" Wow, congratulations dear.. I now pronounce you as husband and wife" she said.
They are burst out laughing.
I smiled.
So much excitement.
" Now you guys will be the managing all the companies, mine and Donald.. we will get all the necessary documents and merge the names of the companies together so both the companies will be one, it will be control but the two of you.. no employees will be change..you can leave all that to I and Donald in a week's we will get everything done" dad said.
Mr Donald nodded his head with a smile.
" That is a good news" Mrs Donald said.
" Am really my son is getting married to kathie and not any stranger or gold digger" she said.
" Me too" mum said.
I remembered John.
I sighed.
" Donald come with me, I will like to discuss something with you" dad said.
They both stood up and went up.
" Kathie my dear, how about you and Daniel take a walk around" mum said.
" You know you both are getting married soon, so why don't you start acting like couple" Mrs Donald said smiling.
A walk with Daniel?

" No need to talk my dear just go with Daniel" mum said.
I nodded.
I and Daniel stare at each other.
He stood up walking out, I followed him.
We got outside.
I sincerely don't know what to say to him because I don't want to talk.
We kept walking until we got outside the gate.

We were told we take a walk around.
I really don't know what to say to her but I still want to talk to her.
" Hmmm... Kathie" I called.
She looked surprised that I called her name.
" Uhmmmm..yes" she answered.
I cleared my throat.
" I know right from childhood, you never liked me, we never get along with each other and now we are being forced to marry each other" i said.
" Instead of standing here discussing , why don't we take a walk around like we were told and then continue talking" she said not looking at me.
'" okay" I said.
We started walking.
" I want you to know that this marriage was never my idea, infact I never want to get married at all and I never imagined getting married to you" I said.
" Even I don't want to marry you either, i only agree to this because of my parents happiness expecially mum" she said.
Thank God!
She didn't speak rudely or harshly to me because that has always been her habit since childhood.
I sighed.
We continue walking without saying a word to each other.
The cool breeze started blowing her hair.
The hair kept touching my face since we were walking side by side.
She noticed that.
" Sorry" she said.
I nodded.
Kathie Williams?
This is her first time saying sorry to me.
Something must have happened to make Kathie this humble.
But what could that be?
I need to find out.
We continue walking.
Not until we saw someone.
I stopped making Kathie stop also.
