CHAPTER ELEVEN

Three months later.

I stared at the clouds it looked like it was going to rain.

‘’This is going to sound weird, but I love the rain it just takes my fears and worries away.’’

I stared at Tara thoughtfully.

‘’Everyone loves something weird’’ I state quietly.

Thunder rumbled in the grey looking sky and it began to pour.

Tara got on her feet and twirled in the light rain. I was puzzled, but something about her carefree nature made my heart swell with affection for her. She laughed and danced in the rainfall without any fears was it that easy to just let your guards down and I have fun? I wondered curiously.

‘’Andrew!’’ come join me Tara yelled.

I shook my head negatively refusing to give in. it wasn’t long before she forcefully dragged me to join her.

She cupped my cheeks gently.

‘’Andrew look at me’’ she pleaded and our eyes locked.

‘’Just let of the past it will only hurt you more Camille is in a better place. Just… just let the walls you created down it will make everything easy for you.’

I stared at her deeply. She looked like my Camille, every time my name left her lips something different consumed me.

I cupped her cheeks and drew her closer in my arms my eyes never left hers. I tilt my head to meet the angle of her pink strawberry lips.

She froze in my arms.

My lips brushed her trembling and she shivers in my embrace.

‘’Andrew this is wrong’’ she whispers.

‘’You don’t want-

I crushed my lips on hers violently silencing her, but she couldn’t withdraw from the kiss our chemistry was too dangerous.

Our lips moved in perfect sync, I drew her closer taking her fully in my arms. I pulled back breathless my head on hers.

‘’I love you Camille’’ I whisper.

Something inside Tara shatters. She pushes me away tears rolling down her cheeks.

''Am I just a look-alike substitute for your dead lover?'' she cries while staring at me.

‘’How did you-

‘’I saw her picture in your wallet’’ she cuts me off mid-sentence.

''If you still love her why did on earth did you kiss me, Andrew? She demanded angrily.

‘’Tara-

‘’Just save it!’’ she cuts me off. With the toss of her auburn ponytail, she turned and stalked away leaving me dazed and confused.
