LOGINSide effect - The Chainsmokers ft Emily Warren
"Thuirt mi riut gu sònraichte gun a bhith ga dochann. Thuirt mi riut a thoirt an seo na dhùisg. Bidh thu a 'dol an aghaidh m' òrdughan huh?" (I told you specifically not to hurt her. I told you to bring her here awake. You go against my rules huh?) I heard a deep Scots accent and I panicked. I refused to open my eyes. I felt myself on a chair, my hands and legs were tied and a tape was on my mouth. My head also was hurting like a bitch. What had happened? I could only remember myself in Noah's car, keeping silent like he requested.
"I didn't want her to observe the location." Noah said without a single ounce of fear in his voice. I heard a groan, a bang and couple of screams. I opened my eyes to find a broken glass window. My muffled scream was enough to let the man I believed shot the window turn back to stare at me. He had trimmed dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was good looking though. He laughed and got closer to me like a predator and I avoided his eyes to find Noah leaning against a wooden table and looking at us with a smirk on his lips.
"Faodaidh tu ar fàgail a-nis. Tha an obair agad air a dhèanamh," (You may leave us now. Your job is done.) the man said as he stared at Noah over his shoulder. Noah stood up with an uneasy look on his face. He left reluctantly and the man stared back at me. I glared at him to show no fear but deep inside, I was shit scared. He chuckled and crouched down to my level, his cologne almost choking me.
"Hello Patricia or should I say Edana," he smirked at my shocked form. Who was he? Why did he call me Edana? The name felt awfully familiar. There was a faint pain at the back of my head when I tried to think of where that name felt familiar from. He ripped off the tape and I hissed at the pain.
"Who the fuck are you? Who is Edana?" I asked and he laughed louder and got up. He moved to the table and picked a glass filled with alcohol. I watched as he dramatically sipped the glass and he turned to face me, the glass still in his hand.
"Coltach ri athair mar nighean," (Like father like daughter) he muttered and I glared at him. Was he mocking the dad I never had. Who the fuck did he think he was?
"Why am I here?" I asked him and he hummed.
"I need you to do some things for me," he said and I bit my lower lip. Why was it always me?
"Why do you think I would help you?" I asked him and he smiled proudly, with an hint of amusement.
"Because I know the truth of that power you hold. I know you," he said and I suppressed a shiver as my heart leaped into my throat. I was sick with fear and dread. He knew me. He knew the origin of my power.
"What do you know about me?" I asked in a shaky voice. He stared at me and shook his head.
"Not the right time to tell you. What you should know is I'll kill everyone you love, Jack, Leroy and that boy Finneas," he said still looking into my eyes and that familiar feeling of fear washed over me again.
"How long have you been stalking me?" I asked him and he laughed louder than before.
"Edana. My sweet Edana," he said and a picture of a man lifting a girl and swinging her through the air while she giggled flashed through my eyes and I blinked profusely. The pain came again, at the back of my head. "I've stalked you since you were born" he said and I frowned. He knew my whole life history. That meant he must have known who my real parents were.
"Now here's the reason why I abducted you. My name is Kai and I'm one of the richest men here in Glasgow. You see I need to get to the top. I need to be the richest," he explained and I stared at him in confusion.
"Where do I come in?" I asked and he smiled.
"I want you to kill all six of them," he said nonchalantly and I gaped at him, a huge lump stuck itself in my throat but I forced out the words.
"No fucking way. I can't help you kill men because of your own selfish needs. You have to work hard to get to the top, not do it in an evil way. Let me go Kai. I'm not doing this." I told him and in a minute he was in front of me. He held my chin tightly and forced me to stare up at him.
"You didn't think of that when you killed your adoptive mother. It's not a request, it's a forced order. Order that comes with punishments," he said lowly and I sneered at him. If he knew that I killed mom then he was surely dangerous but somehow, I needed to tell him something he needed to believe.
"I'm not afraid of you. Like you said, I have powers. Powers that can kill you." I told him and an evil glint crossed his eyes but he kept on smiling.
"You don't know what I'm capable of and that's fine. You'd love to know that I have men following your friend back home now. That gay boy is gonna get shot in the brain because of you. You killed him," he said and I glared hard at him.
"Fuck you." I don't and he shrugged and released me. He stood up fully and brought out a phone from his pocket. He dialed a number and smiled.
"Kill the-",
"Okay okay fine. Please don't hurt him!" I yelled and he hanged up and kept his phone back.
"You didn't tell him to stop. Don't you dare let them hurt Leroy!" I yelled at him and he rolled his eyes.
"He heard your scream," he told me and I nodded and looked down as tears streamed down my face. Why was he doing this? Why was it always me?
"Stop crying it makes me sick. That's what creatures like us were born for. We were born to kill." I heard him mutter and I sniffed. I heard the same statement whisper in my head.
Born to kill.
"I wanna go home." I told him and he nodded.
"My driver will drop you at your house. Not a word about this should be released or you'll see what I'm capable of. Be a good girl for me," he said and walked away from the room. A person in a suit untied me and pulled me up. I made sure to memorize every nook and cranny of this place as I was taken home.

Nothing had changed except the room felt smaller. Not because it was bigger than my room at Jack and I's rented apartment, but because I had noticed that things had changed the moment I got sent out of the mansion. I wasn't the old Po anymore who relied on hiding my powers from the world and keeping shut when I was insulted. I was the new Po that killed innocent and non innocent people to save the people that were close to me."We'll be going out now," I flinched when I heard Aunt Rory's voice and I glared at the smug smile she had on her face as she peeked into my room. "Behave yourself till we get back Aye? Your new parents will be arriving with us." She shut the door and I sighed in tiredness. I heard noises outside a
Moral of the story - Ashe ft Niall Horan10 years ago"Patricia," mommy called me and I looked up from my homework and stared at her as she kept the neat plates into the rank. "Go find out what your father is doing." She ordered and I nodded and jumped down from the high chair before leaving the kitchen to find Jack. I dreaded going to his room. He was so mean to me."Jack?" I nodded on the door of the room and heard no reply from him. I didn't want to be rude and open his door without any permission so I leaned my ear against the door so I could hear what was going on inside. I heard his voice finally, but he sounded like he was crying. My eyebrows furrowed in worry so I opened the door and g
Raging fire - Philip Philips "Edana," a voice whispered and I opened my eyes slowly to face Jada. She had a big smile on her face and I stood up straight and wiped the invisible drool of the side of my lips. I raised an eyebrow at her and her smile seemed to increase. "Daddy is back." She said and my eyes widened in shock."Shit." I muttered when I heard the roaring of an engine go off. I reached for the handle of her wheelchair, and wheeled her into her kitchen after turning of the light in the living room which her father must have never failed to notice. I set the mini laptop I had in my coat pocket on the counter in the middle of the kitchen, and turned off the light. I motioned for her not to make any noise with my index finger across my lips and waited for him to show his face.
If I killed someone for you - Alec BenjaminThe day had gone to rest and the night took over, enveloping me with its darkness. I liked the night, it hid my ugliness, the scar on my flesh, and the sad and depressed expression on my face. My boots were the only sounds I heard as I walked cautiously on the lane, making my way to the black car that waited for me in the front. I got closer to the passenger door of the car and looked skyward at the canopy of luminous stars that designed the black canvas of the night. It had no moon.I opened the door and got in, slamming the door hard to control myself from scratching the smug look on his face and burning his ear with the cigarette in between his fingers."Took you long enough," his deep voice filled the silence and I rolled my eyes and unbuttoned the tight dark gray coat I wore."Jack needed me." I crypted and ignored the warning glare
Lash out - Alice Merton"Finn, they're staring." I whispered to him as we stood in the middle of a big bar called REGALS. It looked sleek, almost formal but at the same time old fashioned. I stared at the fancy drinks arranged behind the lanky blonde haired bartender who Finneas was negotiating something I knew nothing of. I needed to leave immediately. This wasn't the 'bunking' I expected. Old men that sat on the big sofas with brown tables filling up the spaces all stared at me. I guess they didn't expect two teenagers with their backpacks hung on their backs to be in a dangerous place like this."You owe me one Finn. You're lucky my boss isn't in town," the blonde haired punched Finneas on his shoulder and he gave off a laugh, one I knew very much to be fake. He handed Finneas a bottle of alcohol and I narrowed my eyes at the drink. What was he up to?"Thanks Cal. C'mon Po," he tugged my hand t
Let's hurt tonight - One RepublicSad, sounds childish, like something flimsy, something one should be able to cast off with a happy reflection or with at least a smile. It sits inside like the seed of depression, just waiting for the right condition to grow, to send out roots to choke the hope of your heart.Sadness and internal pain was what I felt when Leroy passed me by this morning, not even sparing me a glance. I had woken up early so I could get to school and be the first and maybe only person to wish him a happy return. Just as I stood in front of the gate, I plastered a grin on my face the moment I saw his mom's beetle pull up in front of the school. He got out with gray loose hoodie and black jeans on. He never wore dark colored clothes and that drew my attention. His expression was emotionless and dull."Leroy!" I jumped, "welcome back." I smiled at him. He walked past
