Bitter - Evie Erie

I woke up with a pounding headache. My phone dinged and I saw a message from Finneas. My eyes widened and I quickly unlocked my phone.

*I'm coming over by 9. I want us to hang out and no excuses.* I read and ran my fingers through my hair. I had managed to avoid him during the weekdays and now, it was clear he wouldn't leave me alone. I got up and made my way to my bathroom. I gasped at the red bag under my right eye and my left eye looked pale and dry like always. It was really painful. I ran my fingers across the scar and an image of dead burning in the car flashed through my vision. I gripped the counter really tight to stop myself from falling tears but failed eventually. Why did it always have to be me? Why was I always threatened to kill people? Maybe this was one of the punishments I deserved for killing mom. I was tired of everything. I wanted everything to end immediately.

I had my bath and changed into into a blue boyfriend jean and a thick black sweatshirt. I had my black sneakers on and wore my freely in such a way that it covered my left eye. I sat on my bed and traced my pale cold fingers on mom's picture. A knock on my door brought me out of my senses and I quickly hid the picture under my pillow. Finneas must have arrived.

"Come in," my voice was hoarse and the door slowly opened. I expected Finneas to come in but Jack wheeled himself into my room. My eyes widened and I squirmed on my bed uncomfortably.

"Morning Jack. What do you need?" I asked him and he came closer to me.

"I. Want. To. Apologize," he said shakily and I furrowed my eyebrows. What did he mean?

"Why?" I asked in confusion and he laughed a little.

"I. Not. Been. A. Good. Dad," he said and my heart swelled as tears brimmed my eyes again. If only he knew what I had done, he wouldn't even want to face me.

"It's okay Jack. You've been the best dad in the world. I just didn't realize until mom left. I was too selfish thinking about my unknown family that I didn't realize I had you." I told him and he nodded and sighed. He tilted his head to his side as his eyes stared at something. I followed his gaze and found out that I lamely hid mom's picture. His shoulders began to shake and before I knew what was going on, he was sobbing. I pulled him in a hug quickly and inhaled his fatherly scent, as his tears stained my sweatshirt.

"I. Miss. Kate," he fought to say and I nodded as tears rolled down my cheeks too. I missed her too. A lot. I didn't know how to tell him I killed her. I didn't want to tarnish the relationship we had. I was such an horrible person who deserved hell. I killed the person who had always been there for him through his ups and downs. The person who embraced him when the world rejected him except for his sister. I killed the person who picked me and raised me like a daughter. I killed her.

I was a murderer.

My phone dinged and I pulled off from Jack and checked my phone. I had two messages. One from Finneas,

*I'm outside*

And one from an unknown number,

*You have a mission tonight. Come over to this address now* I read the address and I clenched my jaw. I wasn't going to let a man destroy my life. I chose to ignore him and go with Finneas.

"Jack, I have somewhere to go." I announced and he nodded. I pocketed my phone and a few notes and wheeled him to the living room.

"Stay. Out. Of. Trouble," he said and I nodded and walked out of the house. Finneas stood in front a black Harley Davidson and I plastered a fake smile on my face and walked closer to him.

"Hi." I greeted softly and he studied my face. His face morphed into worry and I rolled my eyes.

"Have you been crying? Are you okay Po?" He asked grabbing my hand and I pulled it off quickly as tingles spread through my body. Not now Po. You have to avoid any further feelings than the one you already have.

"I'm fine Finn. Nothing to worry about. Where are we going?" I asked him and he narrowed his eyes at my smart way of changing the topic and he shrugged.

"The abandoned park. I just needed to get away from Isobel and Noah for once. It's Saturday and I intend to spend it like a normal teenager," he said and I gave him a fake laugh when I remembered Noah. What if I told him Noah was an evil guy working for a more evil guy who could kill him if I didn't kill the people I was asked to kill? Would he believe me?

"You know you're not supposed to hang with me. I'm dangerous. Plus there are other pretty girls or cool guys to hang out with." I quoted with my fingers and he rolled his eyes and climbed his bike.

"Hop on Po," he told me and I climbed the bike too. He turned on the bike and I held his torso tight as he drove through Glasgow.

He stopped a street before the lonely street and parked his bike behind a car. There was an ice cream shop beside the street and he pulled me towards it.

"Chocolate flavors for the both of us," he told the girl selling the ice cream and I glared at him.

"What?" He shrugged.

"You didn't even let me make my own choice." I crossed my arms and he smiled and paid the girl as she handed him the cones. He gave me a cone and I snatched it from him. We walked to the park and sat down where we sat the last time. This time I wasn't cold and I was sure he wasn't because he had a thick hoodie jacket on.

"I like this, me, you, the two of us alone in this park. It's like we're on an adventure together and without Leroy," he said and I rolled my eyes, thankful for the hair I used to cover the left part of my face so he wouldn't see how beet red my left cheek was.

"I'm not sure it's gonna last long." I snorted and he faced me. His cone was empty and mine was still a little empty. He drew himself closer to me and I sucked in a breath.

"Why do you always cover your eyes with your hair?" He asked and he brought up his fingers to tuck my hair at the back of my ears. I made no move to stop him as me myself was frozen. His gray eyes bored into mine and I felt trapped in his intense stare. His fingers was still on my cheek and the tingles I had wished to avoid was more than the other tingles I have felt.

"Because I'm ugly." I whispered in a painful chuckle and he shook his head at me sadly.

"No you're not. You're very beautiful Po. You just don't see it. Your heterochromia draws me closer everytime I stare into them. Your scar is magnificent and your skin is beautifully pale. You aren't close to being pretty Po, you're more than beautiful," he told me and I inhaled deeply. His words had gotten deep into my soul but I refused to believe him.

"Lies." I chuckled dryly ignoring the hurt in his eyes. "Fucking lies. I know you pity my looks Finn but please don't give me that hope," my lips trembled and he rolled his eyes. My breath hitched when his gaze zeroed on my lips. He drew his face closer.

"W-wh-at are you d-doing?" I stuttered and he blinked.

"Showing you the truth," he whispered and I shuddered when his lips met mine. His fingers tightened themselves in the strands of my hair as his soft lips moved against mine. I didn't have an idea of how to kiss him as I couldn't keep up with his pace so I followed everything he did. His tongue parted my lips and I let out a moan as he tongue met mine. He pulled off quickly and placed his forehead against mine as we both breathed heavily.

"You're a bad, good, and hot kisser," he laughed and I rolled my eyes. I couldn't believe what happened.

Finneas kissed me! And I liked it as hell.

He stared into my eyes again and I felt a magnetic pull towards his lips but flinched when my phone rang. I pulled off and checked my phone. It was the same unknown number I got a text from. I picked the call and held it to my ear.

"I warned you about disobeying my orders now your little gay friend had to pay for it. I hope you know it was your fault. Glasgow hospital is barely keeping him alive," he hung up and I dropped the melted ice cream in dread and fear.

"Are you okay Po?" Finneas asked and I nodded.

"I have to go! Don't follow me. I'm sorry." I cried and ran as far as I could away from him. I had to get to Leroy.

What do you think happened to Leroy?

What did you think about Finneas and Po's first kiss?

I hope you enjoyed this chapter.

I know it's longer than the others.

Ouija, a fistful of Vinyl - Harley PoeTick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.I stared at my old wall clock as I sat on my old bed. Nothing had changed except the room felt smaller. Not because it was bigger than my room at Jack and I's rented apartment, but because I had noticed that things had changed the moment I got sent out of the mansion. I wasn't the old Po anymore who relied on hiding my powers from the world and keeping shut when I was insulted. I was the new Po that killed innocent and non innocent people to save the people that were close to me."We'll be going out now," I flinched when I heard Aunt Rory's voice and I glared at the smug smile she had on her face as she peeked into my room. "Behave yourself till we get back Aye? Your new parents will be arriving with us." She shut the door and I sighed in tiredness. I heard noises outside a

"Go find out what your father is doing." She ordered and I nodded and jumped down from the high chair before leaving the kitchen to find Jack. I dreaded going to his room. He was so mean to me."Jack?" I nodded on the door of the room and heard no reply from him. I didn't want to be rude and open his door without any permission so I leaned my ear against the door so I could hear what was going on inside. I heard his voice finally, but he sounded like he was crying. My eyebrows furrowed in worry so I opened the door and g

Raging fire - Philip Philips "Edana," a voice whispered and I opened my eyes slowly to face Jada. She had a big smile on her face and I stood up straight and wiped the invisible drool of the side of my lips. I raised an eyebrow at her and her smile seemed to increase. "Daddy is back." She said and my eyes widened in shock."Shit." I muttered when I heard the roaring of an engine go off. I reached for the handle of her wheelchair, and wheeled her into her kitchen after turning of the light in the living room which her father must have never failed to notice. I set the mini laptop I had in my coat pocket on the counter in the middle of the kitchen, and turned off the light. I motioned for her not to make any noise with my index finger across my lips and waited for him to show his face.

If I killed someone for you - Alec BenjaminThe day had gone to rest and the night took over, enveloping me with its darkness. I liked the night, it hid my ugliness, the scar on my flesh, and the sad and depressed expression on my face. My boots were the only sounds I heard as I walked cautiously on the lane, making my way to the black car that waited for me in the front. I got closer to the passenger door of the car and looked skyward at the canopy of luminous stars that designed the black canvas of the night. It had no moon.I opened the door and got in, slamming the door hard to control myself from scratching the smug look on his face and burning his ear with the cigarette in between his fingers."Took you long enough," his deep voice filled the silence and I rolled my eyes and unbuttoned the tight dark gray coat I wore."Jack needed me." I crypted and ignored the warning glare

Lash out - Alice Merton"Finn, they're staring." I whispered to him as we stood in the middle of a big bar called REGALS. It looked sleek, almost formal but at the same time old fashioned. I stared at the fancy drinks arranged behind the lanky blonde haired bartender who Finneas was negotiating something I knew nothing of. I needed to leave immediately. This wasn't the 'bunking' I expected. Old men that sat on the big sofas with brown tables filling up the spaces all stared at me. I guess they didn't expect two teenagers with their backpacks hung on their backs to be in a dangerous place like this."You owe me one Finn. You're lucky my boss isn't in town," the blonde haired punched Finneas on his shoulder and he gave off a laugh, one I knew very much to be fake. He handed Finneas a bottle of alcohol and I narrowed my eyes at the drink. What was he up to?"Thanks Cal. C'mon Po," he tugged my hand t

  • BURN(A Roswell New Mexico Fanfiction)   Leroy Wouldn't Hurt Me This Way

Let's hurt tonight - One RepublicSad, sounds childish, like something flimsy, something one should be able to cast off with a happy reflection or with at least a smile. It sits inside like the seed of depression, just waiting for the right condition to grow, to send out roots to choke the hope of your heart.Sadness and internal pain was what I felt when Leroy passed me by this morning, not even sparing me a glance. I had woken up early so I could get to school and be the first and maybe only person to wish him a happy return. Just as I stood in front of the gate, I plastered a grin on my face the moment I saw his mom's beetle pull up in front of the school. He got out with gray loose hoodie and black jeans on. He never wore dark colored clothes and that drew my attention. His expression was emotionless and dull."Leroy!" I jumped, "welcome back." I smiled at him. He walked past
