Having a bomb in my hotel at this time was something I expected because this conference was like a gathering for the most powerful businessmen in the whole world. Most of them own their illegal businesses, so they had a lot of enemies. But I thought that it was safe here with all the security system everywhere. It was more safe than a bank.

"What?! Call the FBI and the bomb squad now!" I commanded the manager who was shivering, scared to lose his life.

"Yes sir, I did. They are coming now," he informed me.

"Selena get out now." I turned my head to Selena who was still standing next to me, she didn't blink or scream or moved one step.

"What?" Selena rolled her eyes! What! She was shocked from my words and wasn’t shocked from the bomb?!

"Yes, it's dangerous!" I nodded.

"And what about you?" She grabbed my hand, asking me with worried eyes. Why my heart beats loudly now? This is weird! Am I falling for her?

I rubbed my face, curbing my anger and trying to explain to her. "It's my hotel! I can't run away leaving everyone behind me. I'm not a coward and I will leave after making sure that everyone inside left and were safe. Go now please." I left her staring at me and strode to the stage, I grabbed the mic.

I clapped to make everyone turn their heads to me. "Hello everyone, pay attention to me. There's a bomb in the hotel but please don't panic. Everything’s under control. The manager will show all of you a safety room, stay calm and trust me." Everyone didn't run or shout; most of them knew how to deal with this stuff because they were killers and merciless men.

I spotted Steven dragging Selena and she was pushing him away. I hastened towards them.

"Selena, come with me," Steven yelled at her. Definitely, this guy loves her. He was so worried about her but she looked so bold.

"Let me go, Steven! I'm not like you!" Selena pushed away his hands.

"Stop being so arrogant! I can't let you die!" Steven hollered at Selena with pleading eyes, annoyed by her reaction.

"Take her Steven, now," I said firmly.

"I said I'm not going anywhere." Selena turned her eyes to me and stressed on her words.

"Go away Steven! I'm not afraid to die!" Selena mumbled, throwing Steven arrogant and disgusted looks at the same time, as if she wanted to let me know that Steven was not her type. She hated cowards it seemed.

"Mr. Noah! FBI is here," one of my men rushed towards me and informed me.

The FBI men came in a hurry yelling, "Mr. Noah, this bomb is different and we don't have much time."

"What do you mean?" I narrowed my eyes because I needed an explanation. If the bomb squad can't stop the bomb, then who could?!

"It's the first time to see something complex like this. We should all get out now." They explained to me the situation. I glanced back to Selena who was right there. Steven fled away and she was standing their paying attention.

"How much time left for the explosion?" Selena blurted out, asking the FBI officer.

"Two minutes!" the officer said.

"Okay, show me the bomb and all of you get out now," she sighed and commanded sternly the officer who was widening his eyes in a shock.

"What? What are you going to do?" I grabbed her hands.

"I said all of you get out now." She pushed my hand away and went to the bomb that was hidden behind the receptionist’s counter.

"But! Who are you?!" I huffed.

"Don't worry. I have no intentions to die tonight," she smirked gesturing for me to go away.

"I'm staying with you! But do you know how to..." I asked her and she cut off me.

"Shut your mouth Noah, stay quiet," she shushed me. She was sweating and touching the bomb very gently and slowly with her small hands.

"Okay!" I nodded and zipped my mouth, watching her. Somehow she raised my confidence. I didn't pay attention to the fact that we might die in few seconds.

"Wow, he is too smart. I'm impressed but he is not smarter than me. He totally forgot about this!" she praised the one who made the bomb with a huge smile. She's crazy for God’s sake! In a second, that thing stopped.

"Wow! You stopped the bomb but how?" I laughed, wiping her sweat with my hands.

"Don't ask! I have this application on my cellphone." She grabbed her phone, trying to explain to me.

"What is it?" I narrowed my eyes.

"You know the remote teasing game that turns on and off electronics like tv or stereo?! I used it." She breathed highly in relief.

"Are you kidding? Is that working on everything?" I dropped my jaw.

"No silly but we were lucky this time. He used a toy for making this bomb. Anyway, you won't understand," she said rudely again. What an egotistical woman!

"Who are you again?" I furrowed my brows.

"I- I am an action writer," she stuttered, avoiding my eyes.

"Seriously?! Or police officer?" I raised my brows.

She raised her head confidently. "I'm the best."

'What? What she meant by that! She meant the best writer or best in stopping bombs! She looked so professional.'
