Chapter 5.

CHAPTER 5.

While Elia and the witch hunter are walking back towards the field quietly, Elia is currently staring at the witch hunter’s back.

“Vicente Atlas. I know that you want to know my name.” He simply stated. “Roselia Crossevell.” She shared in return.

“Crossevell…” Vicente laughs bitterly when he stated Elia’s surname repeatedly.

“To be honest, I want to make up for all the wrong things my father has done in the past. I want to make up for what he’d done to someone who’s part of the Crossevell.” He stated.

“That’s why I’m here, I want to apologize and atone for the wrong doings of my father.” He added.

“You’re his son. No wonder why your presence is the same as him.” Elia commented.

“If you really want to atone for it, then tell us everything that you know.” Elia answered and he nodded.

“That is the reason why you’re the first person that I approached here.” He answered.

They arrived on the field and Professor Mychuka immediately went towards them when he sees them.

“I’m happy that both of you are safe.” Professor Mychuka expressed in relief. All of them went towards the group.

All of them alarmingly turned at the direction of the explosion and they saw Demonaire vigorously fighting someone or something.

Elia walks towards them, and stared directly at the opponent to help Demonaire.

“Lumen Ignis Fatuus!” Elia casts a spell, fire wisps appeared made out of large burning light.

The fire wisps covered the whole place then one by one, they went to the direction of the enemy.

“Argh!” The enemy screamed in pain. Then, Demonaire casts its ultimate spell to attack the enemy, but it escapes.

Demonaire was about to attack again, when it’s formed gave in and knelt due to too much exhaustion from the battle.

“Auntie!” Elia called out to her auntie worriedly. Demonaire stood up and went towards Elia weakly.

Demonaire’s features waned and shifted, and turned back into human. She knelt down, Elia held her on her shoulders for support.

“Auntie Nica, are you okay?” Elia asked worriedly. She tried to cast a healing spell but it failed.

“Don’t waste your energy healing me, Elia. It has no effect on me.” Nica stated then coughed.

“I’ll call mister Drago to help you go home. Grandpa and grandma might be worried about you.” Elia stated. Nica stops her immediately.

“I’m fine, don’t worry. I woke up in the wrong time and place. This is the effect of waking up when it is not the right time yet.” Nica explained.

“Nica, you need help. We can call a medic immediately.” The head wizard stated but, Nica grabs his arm to stop him.

“Don’t worry, master Wirian. I’m fine. Arcy is already here. He’ll be the one who’s going to take care of me.” Nica reassured.

Then, Arcy came with a guy in a knight uniform. He went towards Nica then carried her when she already fainted due to exhaustion.

“Please, take care of her, mister Arcy.” Arcy nodded at Elia. “What happened, by the way?” Elia asked worriedly.

“There are a group of people who are targeting the Hidden Tower that is located somewhere in the academy.” Arcy explained.

All of the professors and students went towards them to listen to the conversation.

“Hidden Tower?” One of the students asked then, the head wizard and professor Mychuka looked at each other.

“Is it because of that?” Elia whispered, when she remembered something important.

“You know something?” Shiloah asked, then Elia shook her head.

“I only heard about that once from our mom before, but she didn’t explain anything further to us.” Elia answered.

“But mom told to us before that we don’t need to know about that because there might be another war again.” Lea added.

“Rose still isn’t here?” Lenrick asked then both Elia and Lea shakes their heads because also them, they don’t know where she is.

They can both feel their mom’s presence everywhere but, they’re not sure if that’s really her.

“What happened? I’m sorry I’m late.” All of them looked at the direction of the new guy that looks like their Professor Hudson.

Both Elia and Lea felt something when they saw the new guy. It feels like they miss him, even though they didn’t know him yet.

“Hash, enemies attacked a while ago, but their identity is still unknown.” Someone answered.

“Vicente and I saw a witch hunter and an assassin a while ago. We defeated the witch hunter, but the assassin managed to escape.” Elia answered solemnly.

Hash looked at Lea and Elia then he went towards them. He smiled to the both of them then held their cheeks.

“Roselia… Roselea…” He called them.  “Sheign told me everything about you and your other siblings.” He hugged them both.

Lenrick smiled when he sees them happily together. The head wizard, Professor Mychuka, and also Arcy are smiling at them.

“I’m happy that I finally meet you, my dear daughters.” Both Elia and Lea hugged Hash back.

They both want to meet their father for a long time to hug, bond with him, and also to talk to him.

“Are you both okay?” The sisters nodded with a sweet smile on their faces. Hash patted their hairs gently.

“The eastern forest has a protection, so they can’t go and destroy the Hidden Tower easily with its effects.” The head wizard stated.

“The protection has its own effect, if you’re not trustworthy enough then, all of them will lose their way until they die.” He added.

“I know that the Hidden Tower is safe most especially that, Roseia and Roseria are guarding it.” Lea commented.

“I trust them too even though, Roseia is always in the world of Magique but I know that she’s still doing her duty.” Elia said.

“Or else, mom will kill her if she didn’t do her duty though.” Elia nodded as an agreement to Lea. Then Hash sighed when he heard that.

“I think she will be safe most especially that Professor Blood will be on her back.” Blood was shocked to hear his name.

“What?! Why am I involved?!” Blood exclaimed then all of them laughed softly. Then, Lea took a deep breath.

“Elia…” She called her sister. They looked at each other then, nodded. “Let’s do that?” Elia nodded as an agreement.

They both want to help to protect the whole forest and even the Hidden Tower because it’s part of their duty as a part of the Crossevell Family.

“What are you going to do?” Hashton asked worriedly but they didn’t answer him.

“For now, it’s better not to do anything just to be sure that we are all safe from harm. They are all worried about you.” Arcy commented.

“We’re going to try and contact Ynna, she might be able to control the Roseus now and can come back.” Arcy stated.

“But for now, I should bring Nica to the Cave of Awakening to rest.” The head wizard nodded.

“You should go back there now, Arcy. They might be worried about Rosenica.” Professor Mychuka stated then Arcy went on his way.

Elia looked around to find Wolfie pulling the witch hunter, they defeated a while ago towards us and the male students immediately grabbed the guy to secure him.

“That’s the witch hunter that we defeated a while ago.” Elia commented then the professors nodded.

“Wolfie, don’t remove the effect of the chain.” Elia commanded then, Wolfie brought out the chains and the male students tied the guy using the chain tighter.

“Let’s bring him to the dungeon.” The head wizard suggested then everyone followed them.

When Arcy went back to the Cave of Awakening, he saw someone in there that he didn’t expected.

“What are you doing here, Strex?” Arcy asked as he put Nica down on the hidden stream within the cave.

“I’m here to visit her again. I miss her.” Strex answered while staring at the girl beside Nica.

She’s unconscious on the stream and Strex sat down on the ground to hold his lover’s hair. Arcy sat down beside him.

“I miss her so much. It’s been five years since the last time I saw her.” Strex explained with sorrow.

“I know how you feel. Loving a witch is really difficult, to be honest. They are always in trouble due to people’s fear of them” Arcy contemplated.

“I just wish that when she wakes up, she would be able to remember me and our feelings for each other.” Strex said.

“I know that she can remember you. Trust her.” Arcy held Strex’s shoulder.

“By the way, I observed that the Carbuncles seemed to be scared of something. Did you investigate it?” Strex asked.

“No… Not yet. There’s no report about that.” Arcy answered while creasing his forehead.

“I’ll check it later with Garciel and I’ll also ask the ministry. Wait for my update.” Arcy added. Strex nodded in reply.

“Sure. I’ll wait for that.” Strex answered. They fell in comfortable silence while guarding the cave.

They tied the guy with a chain inside the dungeon, to refrain him from escaping. They’re attempting to interrogate him and asked him several questions but he made no attempts in answering any of them.

The other students already went back to their respective dorms, due to class cancellation, that is established for their safety.

“Do you think that there is still another witch hunter here?” Vicente asked Elia.

“We were the ones who should be asking you that. Are there more witch hunters here?” Elia asked him back.

“The only thing that I know is that all of the witch hunters who survived the war wants to take revenge to the academy, because of what happened in the past.” Vicente stated.

“I know that I’m also a witch hunter but I don’t want war nor destruction. I don’t want to fight.”

“I’m only here because I want to make up for the sin of my father from someone that is part of the Crossevell Family.”

“If you want to give me orders, give me orders then I’ll do it as proof that I’m on your side – that I’m not your enemy.”  They all looked at each other.

“Just like what I’ve said before, you’re my familiar and I’m your master and no one else.” Elia stated with a smirk.

“I understand, master.” Vicente answered then they all looked back at the prisoner.

“He’s not saying anything, so let’s kept on gathering information and investigate. We’re just wasting our time here.” Elia commented.

“I agree with that one.” Lea agreed then they went out of the dungeon.

After the three students left the dungeon, Hash turned to look at the others to ask permission to be with his daughters.

“You can follow your daughters, Hash. We can take care of this.” Lenrick reassured. Hash immediately followed his daughters.

‘This is the right time to act like a father to all of them…’ Hash stated in determination within his mind.
