CHAPTER 9.

Drago is here in the town of Arizalma with Sheign and Houston, helping the brothers in harvesting the fruits.

"Do you have any news about mom, mister Drago?" Sheign asked and Drago just sighed without answering him.

"I guess, that's a no." Houston commented when he felt something strange and look around him.

"Is there a problem, Houston?" Sheign asked curiously and look around to see if something is strange.

"N-nothing, big brother... I guess, I'm just imagining things." Houston answered and didn't told them about the presence that he felt.

'Mom, are you here just now?' Houston asked at the back of his mind.

They are already finished with the discussion, but Hashton still didn't dismissed the class. He's talking to someone outside the room and it is very serious.

While Elia is waiting for the dismissal, she felt something strange then, her sight went black.

When Vicente turned to look at Elia's direction, he suddenly felt something strange about her and also felt a presence that it isn't hers, but saw her staring at nothing.

Elia's black eyes turned red and it looks like there is a rose in the middle. Vicente became alert because of what he's seeing.

"W-who are you?" He asked then grabs his metal piece from his pocket and prepares himself to fight.

Elia stood up and went in the middle part of the room. Vicente is already asking himself about what happened to her and he's also asking if someone's controlling her.

"Elia?" Hashton called her, but Elia didn’t respond. Vicente still wondering what's happening right now.

Elia slowly turned to look at Hashton and her features slowly starting to change. Vicente was surprised to see this right now.

'Spiritual Magic? Only a high level witches or ancient witches are the only ones who can use that.' Vicente commented in his mind.

'This is one of spiritual magic that witches use in communicating from a far distance. They're going to possess their medium to communicate to the people they want to talk with...'

'But, the medium themselves must have a strong and special connection to those whom they want to communicate.

'No way... Could it be...? Her mom? But, that place, that's too far away from this place for her to use that ritual successfully without any problems.' Vicente said inside his mind.

"Hash..." Vicente was surprised to hear someone else's voice and he's not wrong about his suspicions. It's really the girl that his father hurt before.

"Rose?" Hashton immediately hugs Rose tightly and kisses her forehead.

"I'm in a faraway place right now. I don't know until when I can do this but, please be safe." Rose said worriedly.

"The Hidden Tower, please don't let someone destroy it or else, they'll die. And a new war will begin."

"What do you mean? W-who's going to die? And what war?" Rose was about to say something when Elia immediately fainted.

Vicente went towards her and Hashton carried her. Vicente went back to his place and grab his bag and Elia's too.

He followed Hashton to go to the clinic because he's so sure that Hashton will bring his daughter there.

Rose's communication with Hashton was interrupted by an assassin who went in her territory to do his mission.

"I don't know how you manage to get here, but what do you want? You're strong, if your able to get here without any wounds." She commented.

"I am here to kill you and absorb the spirit within your body!" The assassin answered then run towards her.

She transformed into some sort of a monster and she point her hands then a powerful black magic appeared and it hit the assassin.

The assassin's body melted due to the attack. Rose already went back to her human form to preserve her strength.

'The assassin who attacked me, he's so weak... He's not that strong.' She stated within her mind.

She also thought that she has no plans in using the whole extent of her power. She doesn't want to destroy the world where she is in.

She tried to use the Spiritual Magic again to Elia, but she can't feel Elia's presence anymore.

She became worried, she thought that Elia became weak, reason why she can't feel Elia's presence anymore.

'Did I overuse it? I hope that she's okay... I really need to go back there as soon as possible, whatever happens.' She stated within her mind.

She can't let someone destroy the tower or else, there will be another war. She sighed and she thought that everyone needs her help now.

Elia woke up in a dark hallway and her dress is the same as before when she first arrived here. The only difference is that; she's not laying down on a bed but, sitting down on a chair.

She stood up, walk out of the throne room and saw a lot of rooms outside. She went towards the room on her right and opens the door.

She didn't see anything there but, only a vacant room. She closes the door again and go towards to the other room that is located in front of the room where she was standing.

She opens the door again, and saw a guy sitting down on the bed, crying silently.

He's wearing the school uniform of the academy and went towards him. She was about to reach out to his shoulder, to know who he is, when her surroundings went dark.

She looks around her, but she can't see anything or anybody. She also didn't know how to go out of there. Later on, she saw a faint light and it went towards her hands.

"Who's there?" Elia immediately recognize the voice.

"Aphiscus?"

"Elia? Is that you? What are you doing here? Did I failed in saving you?"

"I don't know why I am here right now." Elia answered him because she really didn't know, how she end up being here in the first place.

"Please tell Shiloah that I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry because I have no idea if I can still go back." Elia shook her head.

"I'll do something to get you back, Aphiscus. We're not going to give you up and we'll ask help from everyone to save you. Remember that." Elia stated in determination.

The light shines brighter than before until, Elia closed her eyes because of its brightness.

She didn't see anything but brightness, so she waits for the light to disappear for her to open her eyes again.

In the clinic, Blood is already examining Elia, but he didn't know what happen and she fainted.

"If Rose only used the Spiritual Magic on her, this is not supposed to happen." He commented while staring at Elia.

"Rose has been using that ever since, she's even using it to Dana before, but this never happen and this isn't the effect." He explains.

"Are you saying that they're not compatible, professor?" Blood shakes his head as an answer to Vicente.

"I'm saying that maybe, there's someone out there who destroyed their communication and this is the result of it." Blood answered.

"Dad, where's Elia?" Lea asked when she arrived in the clinic while catching her breath. She went towards Elia and held her forehead.

"She's fine and she just needs some rest." Lea sighed and look back at her sister.

"Why am I feeling some Spiritual Magic? Did mom used that to her?" She asked curiously and look at her sister more.

"Magic that removes all effects, Removentia." She snaps her fingers and Elia woke up immediately.

Vicente is very worried about Elia and he's already used in calling her 'master'... Then, he thought that this is okay because he should do everything just to atone for his father's sins.

"It's Aphiscus! He's still there in the dark area of the eastern forest." Elia stated immediately.

"Calm down first, Elia. You need some rest." Lea said while trying to calm Elia down.

"We need to save Aphiscus. Shiloah needs to know about this." Elia said.

"Just take a rest first and you can tell Shiloah everything later." Blood said and both him and Hashton sighed in frustration.

"Hash, she's really your daughter. So stubborn." Blood commented while shaking his head in disbelief.

"I can't do anything about that. It's in the genes." Hashton answered and sighed.
