In school

Sam: guys you know what to do right.

Drew: yes yes. We’ve prepared everything in the hall where she’s to write are exams. 

Sam : okay good

  

Today is the last day of silvers private exams . After this paper she would be sent to senior class. Silver has prepared very well.

  

In the exam all

Silver: I can’t wait to get over with this , am so happy.

Miss Elena: you can start 

Silver: Wow this paper is so simple.

  

Silver was almost through with her exam when miss Elena noticed a piece of paper close to her desk.

 

Miss Elena: (Draws the paper out) And what is the meaning of this.

 Silver: Meaning of what ma, what’s that.

 

Miss Elena: really you want to play that game with me, stop writing immediately and come with me to the principals office. 

Silver: Ma’am but what did I do. I don’t really know how that got there.

 Miss Elena dragged silver to the principals office. 

Principal: What is going on here

Miss Elena: Sorry to disturb you sir 

but little miss silver here is doing malpractice.

 Principal: hmmm with what

   

Miss Elena gave the piece of paper to the principal , he went through them and saw a fresh print out of the question and answers written on them. 

Principal: And how did you get this 

Silver: Sir I really don’t know where this came from.

Principal: you ain’t willing to talk right.

Silver: sir I didn’t do anything, you know how important this exam is to me sir, when then would I want to play with my chances.

Principal: I should be asking you that .

Silver :( went down on her knees) sir please believe me I didn’t use it , I haven’t been using anything since I started my exams. I don’t even know where that comes from.

Principal: I really wanted to help you out young lady, but it seems you want to take the wayward part. You’d have to stay back with the junior set and follow them to write their exams , that would be your punishment. All the exams you’ve written so far are cancelled. Now leave my office young lady. We don’t condone malpractice here. I should have expelled you, but because of your situation I’d give you a second chance don’t waste it. 

Meanwhile Simon heard what happened and is waiting for her by the door.silver came out and saw him. 

 Silver :(crying) you believe me right, I can’t do such. 

Simon:( holds her hands) I believe you silver, I’ve seen how hard you work for this. Let’s go to the pool side so you can calm yourself down.

   

Sam and his crew were rounding up with their swimming practice when silver and Simon walked in. They all left leaving Sam behind who wanted to watch silver cry. 

 Simon: everything would be just fine silver , I believe you even if no one does .

 Silver : how would I explain all this to uncle ant and aunty Louisa. Even my grandma .

 Simon: Grand ma? 

 

Silver : yes

Simon: I thought you said you had no relatives .

Silver: can I trust you 

Simon: you know you can silver. I’d always be here for you no matter what.

Silver: uncle ant ain’t really related to me. ( silver explained everything that has happened to her to Simon) you see why I really needed to join senior year, I don’t know when my uncle would find out that am still alive and even studying. I really need this.

Simon: I don’t know what to say, is there no way Uncle Antony can intervene. 

Silver : I ain’t sure , the principal sounded really disappointed in me . 

Simon: Everything would be fine. 

Simon knee that this could only be the hand work of his brother , but he had to confirm for himself. After dropping Silver off , he went straight the the bar where Sam and his friends do go to celebrate after every successful prank

Sam: (talking to himself ) I hope I didn’t worsen this girls situation, hmmm well not my problem next time she’d mind where she steps.

 

Joe: bro ain’t you taking anything, and why is your hanna not here today

 Sam: I am not in the mood for celebrating right now. Just get me one shut .

Joe :okay bro

Simon walked into the bar and gave Sam a punch. 

Simon: I warned you to stay off her back didn’t (Simon kept hitting him continuously 

till silver walked in to stop him) 

Silver : Simon stop hitting him he’s your brother, stop it. 

Simon: leave me alone silver let me teach this fool a lesson. 

Silver: Mr butler please do something 

Butler: okay boys it’s okay. Ma’am silver please seat down.

Silver : it’s fine . Simon come with me. Why are you pounding your brother like that.

 Simon: He deserves more than that, he was the one who set you up. 

Silver: Hmmm do you mean the malpractice issue. 

Simon: yes and why are you acting so calm silver, you should be hitting him not saving his ass. 

Silver: It’s fine, now look at you all bruised . Seat down let me get you an ice bag. In fact let’s leave this place

Simon: okay but who is he?  

Silver:That’s my grand ma butler , he’s here to deliver a package to me. 

Simon: Nice to meet you sir, and sorry for my behaviour.

Butler: it’s fine , you were just trying to protect my miss silver here. You are indeed a good friend.

Simon : Did you come to the bar alone

Silver: Not really , uncle ant is outside. Now let’s go

 Butler: This is your package ma , and please think of the offer of your grand ma. 

 Silver: I’ve told you both not to worry about me , I don’t mind spending another year in school. Bye and thanks for coming (hugs him and left)

Outside the bar

 Silver: uncle ant this is it, I’d be going back home with Simon if you don’t mind .

Mr Antony: I don’t mind dear, just get home on time. 

Silver drove the car because Simon also took some blows from his brother , silver dropped him home . 

 

Please Simon next time don’t go beating people on my behalf

  

Yea I’ve heard you , but what was the butler talking about, what offer is that

 

My grandma still insists on me coming back and this incident made her worry even more. She wants to send me a body guard and also settle the principal so I can go to senior school. 

 

You are really a saint my dear and I admire you.

 

There’s nothing there to admire, am going to win this battle no matter what
