He loves me, he loves me not

    I decided to go back in the Philippines to fix my relationship with my boyfriend but his phone number is unreachable. Even the contact number of his office is shut off. But when I visited his house, I encountered a pregnant woman who turns out to be his wife. I'm so shocked when she tells me everything. 

Firing back at them already crossed my mind. It's unfair that I'm going to suffer alone? While they are both live happily? And here I am crying! They are both a user and a parasite.  

I thought my relationship with Royce is perfect but I was wrong, he uses me for his own benefits. After I find out the reason why he broke up with me, my hands automatically dialed my best friend's phone number and ask them to be with me tonight. I need to express my emotions and I need people who can listen to all of my rants! 

"So? Hanggang kailan ka ba iiyak dyan!" They asked in chorus. 

 "Come on, Yngrid? He's not worthy can you please stop crying!" Marcus added. 

"Yeah, I can't believe he did this to me! After what I have done for him!" I said while drinking another glass of wine. 

"I need to do something!" 

His eyes are wide open when he said, "At Ano naman yun aber?" 

"Hindi ako papayag na ako lang mag suffer sa pag iwan niya sakin!" I almost shouted. 

"If your plan is to take revenge by ruing his reputation you better not do it! Because you will just gonna waste your time!" Nixon said. 

"Well, Nixon is right. Just simply let go of him and move on okay! and besides, It's a blessing in disguise also, because your dad doesn't like him from the beginning," Marcus said. 

"Ewan ko ba kasi sa iyo kung bakit ka patay na patay sa lalaki na yun? Eh mas gwapo pa kami ni Marcus dun eh, " Nixon said, while raising his hands to Marcus and do the high five hand signs.  

My dad doesn't like him, we flight because of it, and it's too late for me to find out that he was right about what he thinks to Royce. If he discovers about our break up? He will be the happiest person. But want should I expect about him? He is always right and perfectionist, but without that mindset, he will never be the owner of the multi-dollar company. 

I know he is very disappointed to me when he discovered, that I didn't take a business course in London. That I fake my enrollment and took Pharmacy at the Imperial College of London. While I got a master's and a doctorate degree at Cambridge University. I thought he will be glad if he found out about my success, but he gets angry because I lied to him. 

Nixon and Marcus wander to the next table, while I walk to the washroom to freshen up, after a few minutes I follow them. 

"Hey, guys! " I said trying to get their attention. 

"Oh, girls! This our best friend Yngrid." Nixon introduced. 

"Hello, nice to see you both!" I said while waving my hands. 

"Are you okay now, princess?" Marcus said. Putting his hand on my shoulder. He drags me and I know he is up for something, we slowly walk to the quiet part of the bar. 

" Who are those girls? new target? and why did you bring me here?" I ask with confusion. 

"I'm glad you follow us there. Akala ko na flash kana sa Inodoro eh, " He instantly said. 

I walk closer to him. "Oh! so why did you drag me here?" He Gives me a confusing response.   

"Si Nixon kasi eh, pina-kilala ako doon sa dalawang babae!" He said while fixing his hair. 

"So? anong bago dun eh, parehas naman kayo mahilig sa babae di ba?" I raise my eyebrows to him. 

"Wow! so you're not on my side anymore? you know whom I'm in love with!" he shouted. 

"Of course I know! but if you keep going to the bars and seeing random girls, I don't think she will believe in you that you love her?" I explained. 

"You know she hated me right? and besides no matter what I do she always rejecting me!" he said in a sad tone. 

"You sound so broken more than me? Ikaw ba yung iniwan at nasaktan? as far as I can remember, I ask you guys to help me to cope up with my break up eh!" I answered annoyingly. 

"Hahaha! see! this is my way of helping you." he teased. 

"Well? Now I know why she never believes in you! puro kasi kalokohan eh," 

"I let her think whatever she wanted to think about me, and besides that's what everybody thinks about us?" he answered. 

He was in love with a woman who never loved him back. But to be honest once that he like someone his efforts are 100%. Since he dated so many girls back in high school she never believed to Marcus. When in fact he is really in love with her. 

"People think that we're not good because they can't handle our intelligence, and they can't control us!" 

"Alam mo naman na hindi siya katulad ng mga babaeng nakakasama ko dati? She is different and I can't control her." he said lowering his voice. 

"If you know that she is different from others.  I guess it's time for you to change your way, on how to get her? kasi kung ako siya hindi rin ako maniniwala sayo eh, " I smile at him. Marcus's phone beat when he checks it, his eyes change the mood. 

"Oh, Shi*! Monique and Cassandra are coming!" he extremely said. 

"Speaking of the devil, the devil is coming. Oh! wait? didn't I mention to you that Nixon invited them?" I explained to him. 

"Bakit Ngayon mo lang sinabi. Am I look presentable? Hey, may suklay ka ba?" he complained. Trying to fix himself. 

"Hindi ka naman masyadong excited ah, you look so haggard?" I teased him, I get my perfume and stray it to his clothes. 

"Eww! amoy babae, baka isip niya nang babae ako!" he protested. 

"Okay lang yan totoo naman eh, babaero ka naman talaga!" I frankly said in a higher tone. 

"Really? Hahanap na kita ng bagong lalaki, para masaktan ka ulit! Hahaha!" he said while laughing. 

I rolled my eyes on him."Baka gusto mo ako mag sabi sa kanya, na may kasama kang ibang babae kanina?" He walks closer to me while laying his hands on my shoulder, and 

rub his hands on my head.  

"Gusto mo tayo na lang?" he laughed loudly. 

 I gave him a tiger look. "kadiri! Incest ka ba? sagot ko. 

Marcus and Nixon are my childhood best friend, but we treat each other more like a sibling I'm very close to them. That's why some girls are very in envy to me way back in high school. But they can't harm me, because these two are always guarding me like a dog. After a few minutes, Marcus and I decided to go back to our place, but I notice two men chatting to Nixon. 

"There you go! Where you guys have been huh?" Nixon asked amazingly. 

Marcus remove his hands on me and replied, 

"I just comfort Yngrid,"

"Ohh! Anyway, Remember Orion and Levi?" Nixon added. 

My smile fades away when I saw Orion. He is my Dad favorite assistant and of course the only right guy for him! I don't know why my dad loves this man so much? Sometimes I wonder what that he is my father's child to another woman. But of course, he's not that kind of man. My dad is very faithful to my mom, even she passed away 10 years ago. Every time I saw this man I get irritated. 

"Of course, we know them. Special Orion, right  Yngrid?" Marcus said in a sarcastic way with a smirk in his lips. 

I rolled my eyes to Marcus, this guy is trying to start the fire between me and Orion I nob my head to agree with Him. 

"Did your man broke up with you?" Orion asked out of nowhere.

"None of your business, cause I know if I tell? You will be going to report it to your boss!" I said sarcastically.  "We're not that close to telling you everything! Papansin masyado!" 

"Grow up Yngrid! We all know how to lack you're in choosing a man!" he said in an angry tone. 

I give him a serious look. "Oh wow, really? how do you know I'm lacking in selecting a man. Why? do you know whom I dated?" 

"I don't need to know, your face can prove your incapacity in making a decision. Kaya pati sa pag-pili ng lalaki hindi ka marunong!" he annoyingly responds. 

I drop my glass of wine in the table. "Oh? Look who's talking! how do you know about dating? As far as I can remember you're just a nerd who sometimes goes out of his cave! You rather stay at your office and do some papers works. What are you doing here anyway? you're not even invited!" I shouted at him. 

"Well,  I don't need your invitation, cause the owner invited me. And look at you? look so stress over a guy!" he rapidly answered. 

"Of course you will never be stress in a guy! Unless you're gay!" my smart mouth replied. 

Nixon walked in the middle of us. "Okay, Tama na yan! At baka mag patayan pa kayo!" 

I just look at Orion his face is blank as a paper, this is why I don't like to see him, cause he always looks serious. All serious no fun, and boring like my dad. I put my hand in the air, as a sign of surrender. I don't want to waste my time with him either. After a few moment Monique and Cassandra came in.

"Hey! Guys," Monique interrupted. 

"How are you Yngrid? It's been a long time." Cassandra said lively. 

These two become my friend after Marcus courted Cassandra and been rejected. They become close to me and still in touch with me even I moved to London. 

"It's been a long time, I missed the two of you!" I walked closer to hug them. 

"So how are you?" Monique said in a worried tone. 

"Well, I'm okay physically but mentally not stable, " I bravely said. 

"It's okay, everything will be alright! Ikaw pa eh I know you're strong!" Cassandra in her cheerful tone.

"What about you? Cassandra, how are you?" Marcus cutting our conversation. She gave Marcus a serious reaction.  

"Well, I'm good!" In her plain tone. 

"Okay let's move to the VIP room, to have some privacy," Marcus declared.

We're all transferred to the VIP room it has a couch, flat-screen tv, and karaoke. Nixon starts singing, and I suddenly remember Royce, and our memories together. I know I'm hard to be with, but Royce makes me feel like I am capable of being with someone. 

He is so fun, and lively. Even I'm in London and our relationship is long distance, he always makes an effort to visit me there. Checking, if I'm doing good that's how I fall for him. But he plans everything and he uses me. I decided to drink another shot of tequila, and take another again until I get drunk...
