Chapter 5

     It's been a month since I did that one night fling with my father’s assistant. All I want is to forget Royce that night, not until Orion came in on the screen and ruin everything. No matter how much I wanted  to bring back that moment, and stop myself in making out with him I can't change it anymore. Even I'm with Royce for 4 years I never do it with him, but with Orion, he got me easily. 

I run away from his house because I don't know what I will be going to do. I didn't let him explain his side, and for me it's was just one night affair and it's normal this days. But it bothered me, I shake my head to remove all my thoughts about him. I heard the knock on my door. 

When I open it I saw one of our helpers. "Ma'am Yngrid kain na daw po sabi ni Sir Ysmael." 

"Okay po manang, sunod na lang ako" 

I take a shower first before going down to have breakfast with my dad. and yes! I move to my dad's house when he found out my break up with Royce. I don't have any choice but to stay and take care of him, because his health condition is not good. 

"Good morning dad!" I greet him and give him a kiss. 

"Good morning," he replied. 

"Please stop eating salty food it's not good for your health." I warmed him. 

"It's not salty! You know that I feel so lonely in this house, If you go back to London I will going to be alone again." He said. 

"I don't have any plans to go back to London yet, I can stay here with you," I answered.

"When you will going to get married? I want a grandchild!" He said instantly, I almost choke myself when he said that.

"What! Do you want a grandchild! are you okay dad? Is the medicine you take has a bad effect on your Brain?" I told him. 

"Hindi ako baliw! Ikaw talagang bata ka! Kailan ka ba mag papakasal!" I saw how he holding the spoon tightly, it's a sign that he is controlling his irritation to me.  

"Paano ako mag papakasal wala naman ako boyfriend! And besides kakagaling ko lang sa break up." I said. Trying to calm down this is  the reason why I don't want to live with him. 

"Bakit hindi ka pa ba nakakamove on sa lalaking yun? Hindi ka kasi marunong sumunod sakin!" He added. 

"Well, lahat naman ng desisyon ko mali sa mga mata mo!" My pitch is too high when I said it. 

My dad is evolving into a demon now, he stands up on his chair and said, "Tama naman lahat ng assumption ko sa lalaki yun! Tignan mo ginamit ka lang, At kung akala mo napatawad na kita sa ginawa mo pagpalit ng course eh hindi pa!" 

"I completed my doctorate at a prestigious university dad!" 

"That's why I can't let you take over the company yet, because of your poor decisions!" 

"I don't want to handle it anyway! " I told him.

"That's enough! You will gonna handle it whether you like it or not!" he added. 

"Do I have a choice dad? You always wanted to control me! " I angrily said. 

"I let you live your life in London! So don't you dare talk to me like that!"

"I deserve to live my life! No one should control that." I responded. 

"What do you want me to do? Letting you go to the parties! Drink All night? If your mother is still alive she will not gonna like that!" he shouted.

"Yeah you're right I wish she is still here, so she can stop you from controlling me!" I said. 

"From now on! You will be going to work in our company and you need to study how to manage it, did you understand!" 

"You really want me to suffer? Because I was the one you blame from what happen to my mom and my brother!" I said fiercely. 

"Shut up! Stop that! Don't talk to me like that! I give everything you want in your life!" 

"No! Dad, You're wrong. After mom and Kuya passed away. You stop caring about me and I never feel your love." I said while crying. 

After I said that I walk away. I'm trying my best not to have a fight with him, because I always consider his health condition but can't take it anymore. Every time I stay at his house we're always having a argument. 

Dad never change even one bit! I really hate staying here! Later on, I decided to dress up and ask Manong Carlos to drive me around the city to cool down. We stopped in front of the coffee shop and I decided to go inside. After I  ordered Cappuccino I sit on the table and open my laptop. While checking my emails I heard the crew shouting. 

"Americano for Sir Orion! Sir Orion!" The bartender said. 

I try to avoid the barterder even I'm already distracted. "He is calling Orion's name Oh, Please! I hope he is not the guy I know." I whispered. 

Well that name is very common! I'm sure that's not him! But when I notice the appearance of a man on the counter I slowly move my neck to see if I'm right. My world stops when I saw his very familiar face. 

He is wearing white long sleeves that so fitted on his masculine body and brown slacks, my eyes stopped in that part. "oh, crap!" It flash-backed what happened between us. I look at the different directions and covered my face using the newspaper I bought earlier. 

I quickly start fixing my things, "I need to escape!" I told myself. Walking slowly when I'm already at the door I realize that I forgot my wallet. "Ahh shit!" I walk back to the table but Orion is already examining my wallet. 

"Hey! pardon me, can you give my wallet back?" I asked him. 

"Ohh! Is this yours? You look cute in your pictures by the way!" He said while smiling.

His smiles is very dangerous, I wouldn't let myself fall from that trap. "Yeah right! Thanks, can you give me that!" I stole the wallet from his hands. 

"Parang snatcher kung makakuha ah!" he teased.

"Mas mukha kang snatcher, and besides I only get what is mine!"

"Ako yung pinaka gwapong snatcher na nakita mo sa buong buhay mo!" He said. This man is very proud of himself! 

"Okay! And I need to go, Ciao!"

I'm walking rapidly outside of the coffee shop like slash, even many people looks surprise at me but I don't care! I go straight to the parking lot. I try to open the car but I can't, it was Locked. "Oh! Where are you, Manong Carlos!" I murmured. I heard a very familiar voice talking from behind as I looked back it was him. 

"Looking for this?" Orion said. While playing the key using his both hands. 

"Where did you get that? Where is Manong Carlos!" I said angrily. After a while, I saw Manang Carlos walking closer to us. 

"Manong Bakit niyo po binigay yung susi sa kanya?" I asked. 

"Sabi po kasi ni Sir Orion, siya na daw po mag hahatid sa inyo dahil mag uusap pa daw kayo." Said by the old man. 

"Pwede ba tayong mag-usap?" He said. His eyes are asking like a puppy. 

"Talk about what?" I said.

"Talk about us! please, even just for a minute?" He said. 

"Nothing to talk about us!" I answered and swipe the key from his hands and rushing inside the car.

"Manong tara na po! Pakibilisan na din po ang pag drive." I commanded. 

Orion is still standing there, I look back and saw his sad face. I can't let my emotions control me, we hated each other ever since. Or maybe I am the only one who has hatred towards him? but still, it will never change what happened. I don't want to get involved with anyone. "Not now!" I haven't moved on to my ex. I don't want anyone to get closer to me again! I can't bear another break heart!
