Chapter 9

   We reached Singapore after two hours of flight; Orion and I decided to get married in civil. After I had talked to my friend Nathan who is a lawyer here I asked him to processes our papers. Only my Dad and Nathan was there to witness our wedding. Marcus and Nixon wasn't invited, because I want it to be private and to avoid  paparazzi to discover it. 

After fixing my dress I go to the hotel lobby this is where my wedding will be held. One of the employee assists me in the hallway. I'm wearing a white dress with a flower design on the upper part, and the hem is below the ankle. 

Walking slowly but nervous at the same time. I'm going to get married, but not for love but instead for conveniecy. Orion's wearing brown tuxedo and grey pants a pair of black shoes, he looks good on his wedding attire. I wonder if this wedding is real? I'm sure it will be glamorous and a lot of people are invited. 

"You may kiss the bride," The judge officially announced our marriage. Orion 

kiss me shortly without even looking at me, I got a feeling that he is ignoring me. I want him to act normal in front of everybody, even this is just a contractual I still want it to look real. 

After the wedding we all go to the reception; Orion is quietly sitting next to me. While the photographer approaches us and asks if we are ready to take our wedding pictures. We just look at each other and agreed to join the photographer. 

"Okay, sir can you hold your wife? one more time, kiss the bride!" Photographer said. We don't have a choice but to follow his instructions. Orion doesn't cooperate properly, I pull him close to me and act like we're a happy newly married couple.

"Okay, this is the last post! Bride, put your hands on your husband's neck. Groom! can you hold your wife's waist and kiss her cheek! Okay! 1, 2, 3 posts, " Photographer added. 

Orion is so close to me, and he is still wearing the same perfume. His lips are so kissable, his hands are wrapping on mine. But base on his face reactions he doesn't look happy. It seems that he is a groom at a shotgun wedding. 

"Okay! We're done! Thank you, " After we finished taking photos Orion slowly removes his hands and walks back to our table. I'm so irritated about how the way he acts! He can't even act like a normal groom? I can't help myself so I confront him. 

"Can you act like a real groom in front of others?" I annoyingly said. 

"That's what I'm doing now!" He answered.

"Really! You're so cold. You can't even act properly." 

"Well! I'm not a good actor. I'm not like you!" 

"Well we both agreed on this marriage so do your part. Like as if you will not be going 

to benefit from this agreement!" I told him.

"Yeah! I'm after for a higher position in the company! But nevertheless, you're the one who will benefit more!" he proclaims. 

He is right! The only reason why get married Is because I want to escape from the scandal I made. At the same time, I don't have any plans to manage our company. He is the right prospect to handle it because I know he cares for our business more than I do. It's better for both of us to stay casual and don't expect anything. I go back to my table and sit with them. After we finished dinner, we all go back to our rooms. I'm about to enter to my room when my dad stops me. 

"Why are you entering that room? Aren't you supposed to stay with your husband?" he asked.

"Is it necessary to stay with him in one room? Our marriage is different from other real couples." I answered.

"Paparazzi is everywhere, if you Don't want them to find out that your marriage is fake then act like you're in a real marriage," 

I decided to take a shower first before going to Orion's room, and get my important stuff and walk to his room. I knock for a few minutes but he is not opening it, "I will go back to my room, " I whispered. I already take a step back when I heard the door open He wasn't wearing any shirt and exposing his body, I stare at him for a few minutes.

"Why?" 

"Ahm, Can I sleep here?" I said when I realize that I wasn't in my consciousness. 

"What! You want to sleep here?" He added. 

"What I mean is, can we stay together just for tonight. In case paparazzi followed us here remember we want them to think that our marriage is real," 

"Okay, Pero wag ka lang magulo matulog." He said, while slowly opening the door for me. 

"Hindi naman tayo matutulog na magkatabi sa kama," I said. 

"Ha! At saan mo ako balak patulugin?" His eyes showing the anger agaist me. 

"Eh, di dyan!" I said pointing my index finger on the couch. 

"What! That's not fair!" 

"At bakit? Ako ba ang gusto mong patulugin dyan!" I said sarcastically raising my eyebrow. 

"Hindi ako matutulog dyan! Tingin mo ba kasya ako dyan eh, malaki akong tao? Kung gusto mo ikaw na lang matulog dyan at dito ako sa kama," He complained. 

"No way! Sa kama ako matutulog!" I said, my feet walks quickly on the bed and spread my body, but he grab my hands and drags out of the bed.   

"Lumalis ka nga dyan! Kama ko yan eh, " 

"Ayoko ko nga! Bitiwan mo ko!" I refuse, but i was shock on when he leg go of my hands, and my body fall on the edge of the bed while my head hit the floor.  

"Hoy, okay ka lang?" His stares at me worriedly. 

"Mukha ba akong okay? Tumama yung ulo ko sa sahig! Nakapa arte mo kasi eh, maging Gentleman ka kasi kahit ngayon lang!" I shouted. 

"Bakit! Sino ba may sabi na dito ka matulog? Ikaw pa may gana mag reklamo!" 

"Fine! Aalis na ko at baka kung ano pa mangyari sakin!" I slowly move my body, my elbow and my hips is aching. Orion extend his hand to help me lift up my body 

"Ikaw kasi eh, ang kulit mo" He said with fearful tone.  

"Kung hindi mo ko binitiwan hindi sana ako mahuhulog." I said while holding head I feel the swelling of it. 

"Sabi mo bitawan kita kaya sinunod kita!" 

"Wow, So kasalanan ko pa ngayon dahil binitawan mo ako? Babalik na lang ako sa  kwarto ko!" There is no reason for me to have an argument with him, I walk into the door but he stops me. 

"I'm sorry hindi ko naman sinasadya eh, sige dito kana sa kama at doon na ko sa coach matutulog." 

I saw the shifting of his face expression. He looks thoughtful now quite different from his reaction a minutes ago. His mood changes so fast like a weather. I look at his eyes it's asking for forgiveness. My feeling towards him is very uncommon, he grabs the pillow and silently lay on the couch. 

After a minute he said me, "Yngrid, masakit pa yung braso mo" He said. Out of nowhere. 

"Ingay mo, matulog kana!" 

"Gusto mo hilutin ko braso mo?" He said. His attitude is really irritated! One minute he is sweet, One seconds he is so cold and arrogant. 

"Anong Hilutin, Wag na ano! Baka kung ano pa gawin mo sakin!" 

"Okay, ikaw na nga gustong tulungan ikaw pa galit." He said with sarcasm. 

"Hoy! Orion, Hindi ako pinanganak kahapon! May plano kang masama sa skin." 

"Huh? Ano ba iniisip mo! na gagapangin kita dyan sa kama mo, ano  tingin mo sakin manyakis?" He shouted in the sofa. 

"Oh, bakit Hindi ba? Ilang beses mo na ginawa sakin yun."

"Anong ilang beses! Yung ilang beses na yun ginusto mo rin, minsan nga ikaw pa humalik sa akin!" He responded. I open the light again and throw the pillow on his face. 

"Ang Bastos mo talaga!" I said. On the top of my lungs. 

"Anong bastos? Eh, totoo naman. Nag-aalala lang naman talaga ako sa braso mo. Tapos ikaw dyan kung ano ano iniisip mo!" He said while seating on the couch. I grab the pillow again and back to the bed. 

"Pervert!" 

"Hay! Naku, Yngrid itulog mo lang yan, parehas tayong pagod na dalawa. So don't pick a fight!" He closing his fist trying to manage his anger. 

"Mabangungot ka sana!" 

"Hindi na kailangan, dahil ikaw ang pinaka masamang bangungot na nagyari sa buhay ko," I calm myself and I didn't talk back because if I did we will going to argue again. I 

turn off the light and lay in my bed, I feel that my bodies is in pain. That jerk! I don't think I can handle staying with him in the same house he is so mean! How come, I give myself to this man, he is such a creep! I decide to close my eyes and shake head my head. 

On the next morning, I wake up early and transfer to my room. I fixed my luggage because we have a flight back in Manila. While on the plane, Orion and I sit together but I didn't talk to him, And besides he didn't approach me also until  we arrived at NAIA Airport. I went out first and leave my dad and Orion, I don't want to see his face. I'm still irritated at him. I decided to take a cab and leave the two of them.
