 CHAPTER FIVE

JEFF

"Ahh,finally you are back babe." Kailer said immediately after seeing me.

 "Yes babe I'm back." I replied sitting close to her after kissing her forehead. 

"Okay,let me feed you." I said taking the plate of food and started feeding her while she did the same thing.

 "Oh! wait,,I have to answer this." I said when my phone vibrated and put the plate of food on the table. 

📞 "hello." I said.

 📞 "boss,your friend is coming over so he said he should find you in your office before heading to his apartment."

 📞 "oh,okay I'm on my way right now." I said and hung up then looked at Kailer.

 "Babe I have to go to the office now,there is something I must fix,I'm sorry babe." I said. 

"Okay we will talk later then." She replied.

 "I love you." I said and she giggled. I kissed her then rushed out. . .

NAISY

"Hey friends." Kailer said after joining us in our room. 

"Yes lover girl." Layla replied. 

" You girls should get ready we have to go shopping."Kailer cooed happily.

 "Shopping? But what for?" I blurted out while Kailer and Layla just laughed at me like I have just gone crazy in a swift.

"Have you forgotten that we are parting tomorrow night?" Kailer questioned standing akimbo.

 "Oh I now recall,so which boutique are going to buy from?" Naisy asked. 

"Lime lush boutique." Layla suggested and we agreed. 

"So let's get ready to go,I'm off to bath girls,see you later." Kailer said and rushed out.

 ROMEO

"Damn it,this guy is so damn hot,handsome,sexy,he is way more handsome than Jeff." Ami said facing Arifa. 

"Yes girl he is so perfect,look at those two good looking black spots girl." Arifa blushed. 

"I just wish I could get a chance to just chat with him just to hear his voice." Ami said and blushed as we both looked at Romeo who just got into the elevator to Jeff's office. 

By the way, Ami and Arifa are Jeff's receptionists,they both have a huge crush on Jeff but seems like their huge crush turned out to be Romeo whom is was their first time seeing.

 "Come in." Jeff said after knocking on his office door.

"Hey dude." I said heading towards him.we shared a hug and afterwards shook hands. 

"Have a sit man." Jeff said.

 "So how have you been with your girl Kailer?" I asked after sitting on a couch in his office.

"Man we are still good,so tell me,aren't you ready to move on after that incident of Melisser breaking your heart?"he questioned.

 " no man,,I'm just not ready after all she did to me." Sadness covered my face as the memories came back flashing like flowing water after torrential rains. 

"Man I know she was your first love and you wanted to marry her but I just hope since you are here you will find some perfect girl for you." 

"Yes I hope so." I said.

 "So we are going to party tonight,and I'm not going to take a no as an answer,you have to cheer up." Jeff insisted.

 "Fine,we need to go shopping." I said.

 "Let's go to lime lush botique please man." Jeff requested. I nodded while he took his jacket and we rushed out. 

"Look at him,his smile is the world girl." Arifa said looking at the direction of Jeff and Romeo. 

"He also has mustache." Ami replied. Jeff looked at both Ami and Arifa who lowered their heads in embarrassment.

 "This girls loves you dude, you might consider taking one of them." Jeff whispered in my ear and I just laughed looking at them as we  rushed out.

 "I thought he was going to scold at us." Arifa heaved  a sign of relief.

 "Let's get to do our work before he catches us gossiping again." Ami said and we continued arranging papers on the table.

~LIME LUSH BOUTIQUE~ 

NAISY

 I was at the corner of the botique looking for a dress while Layla and Kailer were a bit far from me that I could not even see them.

 "Hey babe." Jeff said as he approached Layla and Kailer.

 "Hey,I didn't think you would come here." Kailer said with a smile after Jeff kisessed her lips.

 "Hey Romeo,long time no see." Kailer shook hands with Romeo. "Yes I'm glad to see you here again." Romeo smiled. 

"Oh ! forgive my manners, this is my friend named Layla,Layla this is Romeo,Jeff's best friend. Kailer introduced them to each other. " nice to meet you Romeo."Layla said as they shook hands.

 "Umm,,,,I guess I will just have to go check on Naisy okay." Layla said.

 "Okay girl." Kailer replied as Layla rushed to where Naisy is. "Hmmm,,then I also think I should give the couple some privacy,I will look around alone don't worry." Romeo broke the silence. "Okay dude,see you later." Jeff said,they shook hands and afterwards started looking for the attires alone while Jeff and Kailer searched together. 

"What up,why are you coming back alone?" I asked Layla after joining me.

 "I don't know where Kailer is." Layla lied.

 "Really?come up with a better lie."I said still focusing on the dresses in front of me; searching for the perfect one.

" fine Naisy,she is with Jeff."I replied.

 "Oh." I hummed after diverting my eyes at her. What was I expecting anyway!

 "See,I knew your mood would change if I told you the truth,Naisy control your feelings for him please,I don't want him to break your heart." Layla said. 

"No I'm fine,I'm fine..." I lied and put on a faux  smile.

 "You are not good at faking smiles so take this dress and go to the dressing room." She handed me the blue gown dress with light golden  strips. I smirked,snatched the dress from her hand and rushed to the dressing room. I got into the dressing room,put on a dress Layla gave me,while I was checking myself in the mirror the door opened.I quickly looked at the door and saw a very handsome guy scrutinizing my body,with  an intimidating smile on his face.

Damn it! this guy is so perfect. I stared at him as he walked towards me after closing the dressing room door.He was just an inch apart that I hardly breathed. He grabbed my waist slowly and looked at me,his other hand was on my waist while the other one was on my cheek.I immediately felt goosebumps,my cheeks became so hot like a furnace. He brought his face near mine and I closed my eyes wishing he could just kiss me. 

"You look so gorgeous." He whispered in my ear,I did not open my eyes until I felt his cold red lips on mine.I responded to the kiss while he used his other hand to caress my body. The kiss got intense  and we both hardly breathed. It was as if our life depended on this scorching  kiss.

KAILER

 "Babe let's go to the dressing room,I'm a bit tired." Jeff said as we both headed to the dressing room.

 "Let's use this one." Jeff opened the door and saw two people kissing,he was able to recognise only Romeo.

 "Romeo we need to use the dressing room." I blurt out trying to conceal my laughter.

Naisy immediately broke from the kiss although Romeo didn't want to let go. 

"Umm you guys can ju...." Naisy said and was interrupted by me.

 "Twinnie you look so beautiful, oh my word!" I blurt out happily.

 "Guys we need to use the dressing room." Jeff said,jealousy was written all over his face.

 "Okay you guys......"Naisy got interrupted again by Romeo who just put his forefinger  on Naisy's pink lips still wrapping his other hand around Naisy's waist.

 "Dude there are so many dressing rooms in here,search for the another one." Romeo said impatiently. 

"I want to use this one." Jeff replied annoyed. 

"No friend,let's not argue over useless things,just go find another room." Romeo remarked.

 "Hey let's just leave it for them please." Naisy said facing Romeo making a puppy face,Romeo grinned as he held  Naisy's hand and they set off,while I winked at Naisy.

 "Get in." Jeff said firmly.

 "Aren't you going to join me?" I asked.

 "No I will wait here." I smirked and got into the dressing room.

 "Where is the dress I gave you?" Layla asked after Naisy joined her while Naisy just blushed. 

"Its actually....."

 "Hey girls." Romeo chirped in  after joining the girls, with Naisy's dress and shoes in his hand. 

"Hey." Layla replied baffled while Naisy just blushed continuously. 

"We have met earlier on right?" He questioned looking at Layla who just nodded.

 "Do you mind if I steal her for now,I will pay for her things." He whispered in Layla's left ear and Layla just shook her head side ways.

"Come, let's pay for your clothes." He said holding Naisy's left hand,Naisy turned and winked at Layla who just smiled. I guess I have to go home alone now since Naisy is busy with Romeo while Kailer is with Jeff. That day I headed home alone in a cab. 

NAISY

"Please accompany me to my apartment before I take you home." Romeo said after we were done paying for my clothes, heading out of the boutique. 

"Why?" I asked.

 "I need to take you home using my own car and also drop my clothes at my apartment first." He replied. 

I was as the verge of saying no when his eyes did magic on me.

"Okay." I said. 

He then hailed a cab and we got in.

 KAILER

 "Your mood has changed,is it because of your conversation with Romeo earlier on?" I asked after we have paid for our clothes. "No,I'm having a little headache and I think I will just have to rest before going to the party." He lied putting on a faux smile.

"Okay babe." I said. 

"So just go home with my car,I will take a cab home babe,and when its time for the party you go and I will find you there or vise versa,use the car to go to the party okay?" He explained after handing me the car keys.

 "Okay babe take care." I said. 

"I love you." He said and kissed me for about five seconds and then hailed cab .He got in while I got into his car,ignited the car engine and zoomed off.

 ROMEO

 The cab stopped in front of my apartment and the security guard opened the gate for us. 

"Hey Daniel." I greeted my security guard who just nodded with a smile after stealing several glances at Naisy.

" So this is my apartment."I said after getting into the house.

 "Have a sit,I'm just going to put this clothes in my bedroom then accompany you." I said while he just smiled at me. 

NAISY

He then headed to another room I assumed to be his bedroom.

"Wow,this apartment is so perfect,how I wish to live here." Naisy murmured while scrutinizing the beauty of  the apartment. 

After some minutes Romeo came back,we headed out then got into his car and drove out while Daniel closed the gate. John Legend's song named love me now played smoothly in the car and silence hovered in the arena.  Romeo sang along with the song.

"Damn,this guy's voice is like those of Angels,I wish he could not cease singing,and how I wish he could just say Naisy this words are meant for you."I said in my mind.

 " we are here." He interrupted my thoughts after halting outside the house. 

"Oh,thank you for the ride." I said after he opened the door car for me to alight.

"Neh,its nothing." He said facing me.

 "Um,there is something I want to tell you Naisy." His voice sounded very serious which made me a bit scared.

 "Okay,tell me." She cooed.

 "I..........I lov........" 

"Hey newly couple." Kailer interrupted Romeo and he felt so offended; that was so much revealed by his face.
