LAYLA
I gave out a light yawn as I felt the morning breeze filling the entire room. It quickly dawned on me that we didn't close the window yesterday before going to bed. I snatched my phone and checked the time.
"Its already 09:00am,and as usual Naisy is already awake.I wonder if this girl does sleep at all because she always wakes up at the very first light.only God knows what she always does after waking up." I thought to myself as I cleaned the bed and headed to the bathroom.
NAISY
"Hmmm! Who bewitched you with sleep? I mean you always wake up late." I said after feeling Layla's presence behind me. "You must be a white witch,I don't understand how you saw me and your actions are similar to those of white witches. Where is your book of shadows my dear?" She teased heading towards me as I just chuckled.
"Layla you are so unpredictable. I don't have a book of shadows because I'm not a witch Layla; and don't you ever call me that again." I pretended to be angry as she just kept laughing at me. "Look,set the table for both of us,I'm taking this tray to Kailer's room." I explained.
"Okay milady." She said as I laughed at her gestures and she chuckled already doing what I asked her to do.
KAILER
The cracking sound of my door knob made me flinch from my sleep as I saw Naisy coming in.
"Good morning." She greeted heading towards my bed.
"Morning Naisy." I replied with a faux smile as I sat up straight; facing her. She put the tray of food on my bed as she also plumped down near me.
"You know; every time I feel your presence half of my burdens are always gone,and I always feel like smiling whenever I see you. I don't really know why but I must confess! Naisy you are not just a nonentity ." I explained wholeheartedly.
"Wow! You are not the first person to say that,Romeo once said it to me, and I wonder what you guys see that I don't see. Talking of which; Layla also said the same thing this morning." She replied as I smiled at her.
"Care to tell me what happened the previous day?" She added as I lowered my head.
"I ......I....don't really know what's wrong.....but Jeff's mother called my mother names as well as me. I don't know the reason why but it seems......like.....like my mother once hurt them so.....I ......" I stuttered as I was already at the verge of my tears. "Don't cry Kailer,you are the most strongest lady I have ever known." Naisy crooned as she embraced me into a warm hug. "Thank you Naisy." I said sobbing.
"Look." She said as she cupped my cheeks with her palms.
" You are going to go through a lot to an extent of having to choose between living a perfect life through me or living in hell with your mother."she said as I gasped.
"Wait! What do you mean Naisy?" I asked eagerly hoping to get an answer from her.
"Only time will tell what I really mean, just be careful and make sure that you choose wisely." She flashed a smile as I got confused even more.
"Quit the relationship of yours and Jeff for your own safety, but its not gonna be easy after giving up on him,but I know you never loved him; you were just abiding by your mother's rules of forcing you to date Jeff." She said and I gasped; not believing what she just said.
"Naisy who are you? And how did you know that?"
"I'm me; Naisy,but sometimes I get to say things which I myself don't even comprehend. But make sure you cut ties between you and Jeff,I will always be there for you; protect and guide you as long as I'm alive." She continued as I got confused even more. "Look,I'm going to feed you now,and don't you dare say no." She threatened me with a soft voice as I just giggled.
"Thanks Naisy for everything."
"Its nothing.I still have a lot of work to do in this world,I came to amend as well as to save souls." She said with a serious face.
"Naisy have you gone nuts?"
"No,just open your mouth and let me feed you." She said bringing a spoon full of pancakes towards my mouth and I did open my mouth as she shove a spoon in. It was fun being with Naisy, feeding me like a baby.After she was done feeding me we headed to the kitchen to join Layla who was already eating like a hungry dog.
"Since when did you start eating like a pig?" Naisy teased as we pulled out chairs to sit.
"I think you are the talkative one here not me." Layla replied still chewing food without even sparing us a look.
"I agree with layla." I chirped in as Naisy forged an angry look as we laughed at her.
" but I didn't talk about who being a talkative,I only talked about food." Naisy snapped at us.
" whatever!" I replied, rolling my eyes at her.
"So I see that Naisy is the medicine herself if she indeed succeeded in cheering you up there." Layla teased averting her gaze at both of us.
"Of course." I admitted.
"Yes your mood says it all." Layla concluded as Layla and Naisy laughed affectionately at the sudden change of my mood. Our laughter was interrupted by an incoming call on Naisy's phone.Love me now by John Legend.
"Different unknown number again." Naisy blurt out.
"What do you mean about different unknown number again?" Layla asked staring at Naisy.
"Did I say that loud?"Naisy asked very shocked as I and Layla exchanged looks.
" yes,what is going on Naisy?"I enquired.
"Nothing." Naisy said trying to hide the phone.
"You are answering that call now,and you are gonna put it on loud speaker." Layla said boldly; more like an order as she gave Naisy a deadly look.
"Fine." Naisy shot as she picked the call and put it on a loud speaker. A female voice was heard.
