2020-08-30 20:54:02This heat was really unbearable. This was the third time I checked my watch. It was exactly 2:36 pm and when did Nick want to pick me up? At 14:00! Actually, he was always late. That's why I usually left the house ten minutes later. I had been living at home with my parents for two months. That meant: I was only with Nick and my cousin every weekend. At first I thought that I would definitely never see him again, but he picked me up every Friday and drove me back home on Sundays, although that was rare because he was mostly so fucked up that he was no longer capable of anything was. Then my cousin David would take me home or I would occasionally take the train. It was an hour and a half to get to them.
But actually I shouldn't complain, because he really picked me up a lot. But from week to week he came later and later. Whenever my parents were around, I would wait around the corner from the house. They didn't know about Nick. They always thought that David or a friend would pick me up or that I would take the train.
After a few minutes I heard and finally saw his car drive up the street. He had a modern, pitch-black sports car that couldn't be ignored. He worked in an auto repair shop and that was the only way he could own such a car, because he had told me that his boss found it embarrassing if he kept driving around in a dark red little junk truck. That's why he let him drive this car.
He braked right in front of me. I opened the car door, got in and threw my big bag - which I always had with me - in the back seat.
"You're already over half an hour late again!" I looked at him, but he immediately leaned over to me and put his lips on mine so that I couldn't continue talking. He knew very well that I would then say nothing more and my angry thoughts disappeared as quickly as they had come.
"I know," he muttered into our kiss. He became more and more urgent and pressed himself more and more against me and then I suddenly felt his hand run between my thighs. I immediately understood what he was up to. I pulled away from him abruptly and pushed him away from me so I could look at him.
"You're drunk," I stated angrily.
"And?" I sighed.
“You shouldn't drive a car under drugs, I told you that before. Especially not when you have to drive that far and do it all by yourself. ”I felt that he was looking at me out of the corner of my eye.
“And I've already told you that I can drive even better this way. So cool off! ”I rolled my eyes. How I hated discussing this crap with him.
I immediately hatred of him again.
We were silent for a while until I turned to him.
"Are you going to the Foundry tonight?" He nodded.
"I have an appointment with Michele." He frowned at me.
"Michele?" He asks and I sighed.
“Yes, I told you about her. She's celebrating her birthday tomorrow and wanted to have a drink with me today. Do you remember? ”I saw him pause for a moment before nodding.
"Oh the one who's celebrating her birthday," he said annoyed. Michele invited me and told me to bring my boyfriend. She had known me for nearly four months now, but hadn't really met her yet. They had already seen each other when I introduced them, but not otherwise.
“She still wants me to take you with me. So ... when will you tell me if you will come with me? ”I heard him sigh in annoyance.
“What should I do on a children's birthday party like this? Can you tell me that, Jolina? ”Children's birthday party?
“She is as old as me. It's not a children's birthday party! ”Nick looked at me with a sideways glance that spoke volumes. Yes, I was a child too, I'd heard that often enough. I could be so upset again now, but it would be best if I talked to him about it again tomorrow.
Because the rest of the journey, we were silent more than we spoke.
