Chapter 12 The fault of Regina Elderedge

Leon woke up and glanced up at his family members as they all looked at him with concerned. Leon quickly sat up and started patting himself down for his belongings.

"Leon, what's gotten into you!?" Sierra lectured the ecstatic boy but his

"Mom, dad, don't be mad but I went to see Regina Elderedge." Leon chuckled nervously as 

"What?!" Tom slammed a glass of vodka on the table as he looked at his son in disbelief.

"You should know better then to talk to that family raised by demons!" 

"Dad, I love Regina! She's my everything!" Leon tried to explain only to be shut down by a slap by Sierra.

"Oh if you love Regina so much tell me what happened to you to be roughed up like this!"

Tom stated as he pour another shot of Vodka to be able to hear his son ridiculous story.

"We were walking to a home after coming from the mall nearby and I decided to drop her off. Next thing I knew were getting attacked by these muggers...Regina told me if I stay and fight she'll call the police to delay time for the muggers. She took my phone and ran away after like 15 minutes I assume she was scared but no sign of the police was around. Poor thing, must have gotten scared."

"Leon, she dipped." stated Sophia as everyone shared the same annoyed expression of how dumb can Leon be. 

"What do you mean?" stated Leon as he looked visibly upset. "She told me she'll call the police I assume she got sidetracked."

"She ditched you and left you for dead! You still have the audacity to love that she-devil!" Tom Alder temper was rising as he drank some more shots causing Sophia to be concerned.

As Leon sat comfortable on the couch as his mother brung back a first aid kit and cleaned his wounds. Leon remained silent but his face twisted to anger.

"But dad, Regina loves me unlike Alexander with a certain someone! It's your fault Sophia that Regina doesn't love me! If only you put up with Alexander bullshit, maybe, Regina will always be want to be with me!" Leon shouted as he startled his mother who was cleaning his wound. 

Suddenly a sharp sting was Leon's cheek as Sophia stood there in a awkward gate that looked painful from the cast and her injuried leg but she needed to slap some sense into Leon. She had tears in her eyes and Leon knew he shouldn't have said what he said. He realized he hurted Sophia his older half-sister who was always right and admirable. For her to get out of her wheelchair to slap him must have been too much.

Sophia stumbled back causing everyone to get up but she was caught my Lucas who glared at Leon.

"Your sister suffered during that circus called an engagement and you said she should have put up with it so you can have a fucking girl?! A girl that abandons you to leave you for dead?!" Lucas yelled annoyed at Leon's selfishness and greed. "There is so many other girls in the world and you choose a bitch from a family of bastards!"

"Tom, is this how you raise your son? To be this weak? Youth these days." Gia frowned then turned to Sophia who looked annoyed at Leon.

"Dear, your brother is dumb. At least you have to common sense time to time." Gia smiled at Sophia as she takes a glass of vodka from a servant tray.

"The Phone!" Suddenly Leon went pale as he searched every pocket. "No, the company emails! The company stocks! I had all that information on there!" 

Everyone stared at Leon bewildered then realized that this boy was idoitic to give away his phone with a copy of the company projects. Tom stood up and marched over to Leon quickly.

"Forgive me, lord as I'm about to kill my only son." Tom quickly seized Leon by the collar and dragged him to the studies and yelling can be heard from upstairs. "How did you let that happened?! Do you know how much information your sister and I researched for this project to go smoothly?! You're lucky that I already publicized our project and traded marked it earlier! If I ever hear you lost a project again you're finished! Finished!"

Sophia felt a little nervous for Leon even though it was common for siblings to hate each other in moderation, especially step-siblings, she and Leon bonded since childhood. Sophia never had a dislike towards Sierra nor Leon even though Sierra is her stepmother she was never mean to begin with just blunt and nice. But the rest of Sierra's family members are as slick as the Elderedge family, she's just a good apple in a barrel of rotten ones.

"Dad, is being hard on Leon. The Elderedge family is a tricky low-lives that live off of other rich family  success." Sophia turned towards Sierra trying to calm her down as watched her  sobbed. Sophia took out the folder and placed it on the table in front of Gia and Sierra. Gia throughly read through the folder but her face slowly churned into disgust.

"I told Leon to stop hanging with that Regina, girl! Now your father is chewing him out and I don't have much of a say to this." Sierra took a tissue and wipped her eyes as she looked up at everyone.  "Everytime I call him, it's Regina this and Regina that." 

"

Well, now he will know to never trust Regina anymore! That lecture is not a lecture it's a threat to know that the Elderedge family are bastards!" Lucas said with his arms crossed and watch Gia's expression.

"I sill can't believe we almost married and forced Sophia into this horrible family of people. Not only would Sophia suffered she would have her inheritances taken from her right away and abused. Kind of thinking of it, I heard a rumor before that I didn't believe that Regina managed to convinced her last boyfriend to put her as a guarantor on his bank account then not even 1 month later her boyfriend died in a car accident." Gia explained as she put the folder down and glanced at Sophia with an apologetic look.

"That boyfriend before that died of an incident on vacation with the Elderedge family." 

"How come the females never die? Alexander could have killed me." stated Sophia as she felt angered by the fact that Alexander and his family could just wiped her off the face of the earth.

"Sara Elderedge was too nice to you. She wanted you to be the sole true wife. So it's possible you wouldn't be murdered but supressed." stated Lucas as he pondered.

"Maybe, there's more to what the agenda of the Elderedge family had for me. Since they harmed Leon then we will give Regina and the Elderedge family their just desserts" Sophia smirked then turned to Gia and Sierra who smiled in agreement.

Lucas couldn't help smiled at Sophia's little smirks. The rabbit was becoming devious and he knows.

***********Elderedge Residence**********

"Daddy." A young girl with Blonde hair and green eyes walked into the home studies that belong to father, Hector Elderedge.

"Regina, my dear did you trick the Alder boy? Did you manage to get the company information from him? hmn?" Hector grabbed Regina shoulders out of excitement as her grin widden.

"Of course, Daddy, everything is on this phone the Alder family will lose fame and we can't fail at our plan."Regina smirked as she placed the phone the table and smiled inwardly.

'This is the moment for me to shine to get Daddy's attention.'

"Your brothers are not as smart as you my dear. Your other brother, Julian, is coming back you know." stated Hector as he walked over to a picture frame of two little boys holding their baby sister in the picture. "I think of making him my heir. But I see your quite as capable as well, Regina, don't fail me."

"Of, Course father I will not fail you." Regina backs away then walked outside the office to meet Alexander who glared at her as she made a "hmph" sound then walk away.

'What did Regina and father discussed? I must know.'
