Chapter 8 Fake Apology

Sophia and Lucas couldn't possibly look each other in the eyes after that night as the both blushed at the kitchen table. Lucas realized that his love for Sophia was pure and Sophia was too pure for him. 

Sophia couldn't believe it, her first BDSM session was too much. Lucas stood up and cleared his throat as he looked at his phone avoiding eye contact. 

"Sophia we have work today, let's go dear." 

"Lucas, what are we doing today?" stated Sophia as she pour her coffee in a coffee cup and walked out with him.

"We have 2 meetings and one dinner with a client. Apparently I see the Elderedge family wants a meeting and even though they invested stocks in my company they still have little to no power." Lucas fixed his collar then watch as he walked towards the car as it starts.

Sophia face twisted into a scowl as she wonder why the Elderedge family wanted a meeting and Lucas had the same bewildered look but he smiled inwardly towards the ideas that the Elderedge family needed their help. Lucas drove off towards the direction of the company.

*********At the Elderedge residence*******

Sara Elderedge was upset yet again and throwing a tantrum as Jasmine trembled while covering her head from a tea cup that flew her way. Alexander rushed to her aid as he shields Jasmine knowing his mother will stop her rage.

"Stop protecting that bitch!" screamed Sara as she marched over to the shameless couple.

"Mom, it's not Jasmine fault." as Alexander shield her. "Besides she is your daughter-in-law!" 

"I don't claim her! I told you to go apologize twice to Sophia Alder so she can let our family go. You thought you were big and bad threatening her. Do you remember who her sponsor is?!" Sara slammed her hand on a table as Alexander hanged his head in shame.

"As I thought." Sara sighed as she threw herself into a chair and hanged her head in disappoint.

Hector Elderedge the head of the Elderedge family walking into the room furious as he slammed the tablet on Alexander's head. 

"Read this, you insolent boy! You made a fool out of the family, not only did you made it look like Sophia was yours, I had to call a meeting for you to apologize to Sophia! You'll make me die of a stroke eventually from your dumbass!" Hector said as his voice could be heard through the halls of the mansion. " Apologize to her or I have no problem disregarding you as my son...and give your little brother the inheritance."

Jasmine and Alexander swallowed the lump in their throats as they both look nervous. Alexander knew he must swallow his pride and arrogance to maintain his status as the rightful heir.

"I'll go apologize to Sophia." Alexander sulked as Jasmine looked up at Alexander in shock. 

"What time is the meeting?"

"At 12 pm today. Don't be late and humble yourself!" Hector sneered at Alexander as he turned to glare at Jasmine who looked even more nervous then shuddered in response.

"Let's go Jasmine that's like in an hour. Let's make our way there." Alexander and Jasmine walked out the house and flagged a car down. "Get in."

Jasmine didn't like the way Alexander was sounding he sounded "helpless" to her. Jasmine clenched her teeth as she thought to herself that Sophia must be behind this apology. She will make her pay for this injustice done to her.

Alexander noticed Jasmine was visibly angered and he stopped the car suddenly. "Jasmine don't keep that attitude on you forever! Don't anger Sophia or cause trouble!"

"I don't want to apologize to that bitch, Alex!"

"Well you have to!" Alex yelled at Jasmine causing her to sulk back in her seat.

"Sorry if I yelled at you. We'll go shopping later just for you if you be good." Jasmine was still sulking upon hearing she has to be nice to Sophia, again. She hated the life that Sophia had even though Sophia and her were both from good homes. Sophia was rich but Jamine father was merely a factory owner. She envy Sophia for dating Alexander and now finding Lucas.

'Sophia, you're just lucky for today, if I snap at you it's not my fault.'

***************At Carter Corp**************

"Mr.Carter, your 12 pm is here."  Kiara said as she mixed some coffee for Lucas and handed Sophia the documents regarding the finances of the Elderedge family.

"Let them in and Kiara call security prior to this, this might get nasty." Lucas took a sip of coffee as he glanced at Sophia in the couch she looked nervous as she turned the pages in the folder.

'They really went down in quality and all their company stocks has been pulled out. So they were hoping to use my inheritance.' Sophia closed the folder shortly after at few glances at the papers.

"Sophia, come here." Lucas tone of voice turned firm but caring as he called her over. Sophia got up and obeyed Lucas command. 

"Why?" responded Sophia. "The meeting is suppose to start shouldn't I be at my own desk.

"You signed the contract you are my, submissive wife." stated Lucas as he dragged Sophia on his lap and held her close. "Stay on my lap and obey me keep that folder handy."

Suddenly the door opens and a quiet Alexander followed by a visibly upset Jasmine followed along. The couple stood in front of Lucas desk as Alexander suck his teeth as he saw Sophia in Lucas lap.

"Tell me, Mr.Elderedge. What can I do for you?" Lucas smirked as he shifted in his chair so they can get a better view of Sophia.

"I want to apologize." Alexander hissed as he glared at the man before him.

"Watch your tone, Mr.Elderedge. You are free to apologize but..." Lucas warned Alexander as he took the folder from Sophia and slide if on the desk. "These are all the frauds of your family's company and how you planned to use other rich family inheritances to boost your own company almost using Sophia as your latest victim. I could let this slide if you apologized and never bother Sophia."

"Lucas Carter what right do you-" Jasmine voice became malicious as she almost lunge for the desk.

Alexander eyes widdened and he slumped to the floor as Jasmine quickly come to his aid only to be pulled to floor. 

"Kneel and apologize!" 

"A-Alex?"  Jasmine was taken aback as she looked at him wide eyed.

"Don't be a dumb bitch and apologize."  Jasmine mouth was agape by those sudden words that were used on her.

"I-I'm sorry!" Jasmine tried to make her apology sincere but she couldn't bare to be humiliated like this.

"I'm sorry." Mumbled Alexander as he glanced at Jasmine who looked like her expression was frozen.

"Your apology seem fake but ok." stated Lucas as he threw the folder in his desk. 

'Lucas really made them forcefully apologize to me?' Sophia hanged onto Lucas a little tighter as he takes notice.

"Sophia it's alright don't be scared." Lucas turned to the shameless couple again. Get out my office and never come back again!"

As Alexander got up quickly and helped Jasmine.

"What about our company stocks?!" Alexander screamed as he knew he can't leave without fixing what he broke.

"What about those stocks? What stocks is there to work with you, you will have to reinvest into each and everyone." replied Lucas with a soft tone and smirk causing Alexander eyes to widdened more in shock.

"Lucas you-!" Alexander rushed over to Lucas but Kiara already radio in for security that were waiting outside the door.

Security restrained Alexander and started dragging him out as Jasmine followed along.

"This isn't over Lucas Carter! I will bring the Elderedge family back to their glory days and I'll bring down your company!" Screamed Alexander as he was lead out the office kicking and screaming. Jasmine glanced back glaring then ran after Alexander in a hurry.

"People like those two will never get anywhere acting like that." Lucas sighed as he glance down at Sophia smiling.

"Comfy?"

"Yes." Mumbled Sophia as she buried her face in Lucas chest.
