Innocent Wife of Contract Marriage

Sophia's hand trembles as she applied her lipstick and her eyes were filled with tears. She was going to marry a bastard who cheated on her with her best friend.

"I'm only doing this for my family, father wanted to team up with this bastard." thought Sophia as she capped the lipstick back on. Sophia didn't want to go through with this but she must.

"Sophia~ They're waiting for you out there~!" as a woman with black hair and blue eyes came in, her name was Jasmine Carson, the betrayer, the whore, the bitch that ruined the relationship between Sophia and Alexander Elredge her fiance. The woman wore a smirk that made Sophia sick.

"I'm coming!" cried Sophia as she stood up and flipped her veil rushing towards the door to greet Jasmine. 

As Sophia and Jasmine walked together towards the pews, Jasmine lips parted with a sneer.

"You know he's only marrying because he wants your family money, right?" Jasmine sneered looking back at Sophia who in the moment knew Jasmine was right.

"He doesn't want a pathetic girl." 

Sophia stayed silent as they continue towards the start of the aisle, television broadcastors and cameras it made her even more nervous. Sophia emotionless grabbed her father's arm. She trembled even more holding back sobs causing her father to notice.

"My dear, Sophia? What's wrong I can cancel the wedding if you're that sad..." whispered her father as he wiped away her tears with his hankerchief.

"Father it's just..." Sophia paused and looked up at the alter a prideful man stood before her with a scowl. 

"Tears of happiness."

Sophia stayed silent, Tom Alder, her own father even questioned her happiness. Her father glared at Jasmine who was in the front row on the groom's side. Jasmine instantly knew the looks of anger and fury she was getting by even showing up but, she didn't care.

As Sophia walked her way up the alter letting go of her father arm as her tears formed then a quick glance at Jasmine who smiled briefly at her.

"We come today to honor the wedding of Alexander Eldredge and Sophia Alder..." The priest eagerly stated.

As Sophia spaced out for the rest of the ceremony until the "I do's" come up. She stared up at Alexander his smothering grey eyes lifeless, no love, his brown hair was slicked back to show his face more which was much uglier then she thought. What did she see in this man...

"Sophia Alder, will you happily take this man's hand in marriage?"

"I-I...."

Sophia broke into a cold sweat as she looked at her bouquet then the cold-hearted man in front of her and the ring being slowly slipped onto her ring finger. Then the crowd and her father who looked concerned.

"I can't accept this! You cheat on me-" yelled Sophia. As she threw the bouquet at Alexander she is greeted with a slap to the face causing everyone to gasp.

"Of course, I cheated on you, who would want to marry an ill-breed girl like you?" Said Alexander as he removed the ring forcefully from her finger causing it to break in the process. 

Alexander walked over to Jasmine who giggled, everyone glared at the two even those from the Elderedge family was scowling at Jasmine.

"What is the meaning of this, Alexander?! You dare not marry Sophia just for this trashy girl?" cried Sara Elderedge, the mother of Alxander.

"Of course, I rather marry Jasmine a real woman than Sophia who is has the confidence of a mouse and naive as a child! Jasmine is my mistress!" cried Alexander as he held Jasmine. Then the unthinkable happen, this jerk got on one knee and propose to the mistress at his wedding. Everyone whispered.

"Shameless trashy couple!! I will not merge our companies!" yelled Tom as he approached Alexander and Jasmine. 

"Son, you better shape up and marry Sophia!! If you marry that whore you will never get far!" Yelled Sara as she realized that her family company could be jeopardized by her son's shameless confession on live TV.

Sophia realized that both sides of the venue were occupied fighting as she ran out the church blinded by misery and embarrasement. She ran out in front of a private car that stop suddenly causing her to jump back scared. This man stepped out, a man who was older then her yet handsome dressed formally for the occasion.

He returned, her father's apprentice and friend who study abroad then became one of the richest men alive, Lucus Carter. Lucus approached Sophia slowly putting a hand to her cheek observing her. Make up running, teary eyes and hand print on the cheek as she clenched her hand indicating an injury.

"I was on my way to the wedding directly from my flight and I was late, sorry Sophia...Who tore you down like this?!" 

Sophia stayed silent and he took her silence as an answer to call out the perpetrator. Taking her hand and dragging her into the church. The church door slammed open and every who was quarreling silently stared at them.

"Who dare to slap her!?" His voice boomed and echoed through out the church instilling fear in everyone. 

"I did! So what?! Snorted Alexander holding Jasmine protectively. Jasmine face was in shock she even knew who this man was. Jasmine was trembling in fear. "You're scaring my fiancée! Get lost!".

"Alexander, becareful, that's Lucus Carter! One of the richest man alive!" Jasmine warned Alexander but he just brushed it aside.

Alexander was arrogant and he hate to have his ego hurt but he too felt a little fear in his heart.

"Oh, get lost? Alexander Elderedge I recalled that your family is struggling to catch up with us elites! I'll help you lose everything then! Your ex-fiancée is mine as well! The Alder family as a dowry gift I will give Sophia  40% of my stocks as her family company will be a partner company, company priority as the vice president and a villa." Lucus smirked and Alexander eyes widden. 

"40%?!" Exclaimed Sophia as she backed away in disbelief.

"40% of stocks?" thought Alexander. "I made a mistake."

"Sophia, I-" Alexander try to grab Sophia hand as Lucus lead her away but Tom Alder blocks his way. 

"You missed your chance with my daughter, Lucus will be the only recognized son-in-law I have!" Tom walks away following Lucus and Sophia out the church to his own car as the whole Alder Family follows as well.

Sophia felt overwhelmed as paparazzis crowded her and camera flashing as Lucus guide her. Did she just escaped a horrible marriage and became the fiancée of one of the most richest men on earth. As the car door open Sophia was thrown in first then Lucus.

"Sophia, you're my woman now! When we get home I have many rules for you!"
