Chapter 6 To prepare for a Party with it's most dangerous guest

After the incident in the cafeteria and Kiara getting time off as compensation of attempting to protect Sophia. Sophia and Lucas decided it was time for dress shopping as he cancelled all his meetings to please Sophia for the afternoon.

Sophia and Lucas walked into the garage approaching a luxurious car. Sophia looked puzzled as to why Lucas just casually have a car sitting in the garage but they were dropped off in the morning.

"I have many cars here. Maybe I'll give you this one." Lucas smirked as he start the car beckoning Sophia to sit.

"Why this one?" asked Sophia as she smiled at him and her eyes wondered around the car. Lucas backed out and begin driving away towards the parking garage exit.

"This was my first car after becoming a successful billionaire. Honestly, after your father noticed I was good at business and after I have managed to get a few dollars, he sent me to work under a rich famous Italian car designer...Unfortunately...That famous car designer met his maker...He had a son but he was not reliable, he was ungrateful enough and he just wanted money, he also left a daughter but she was not sane...So he left his money to me an outsider..."

Lucas stared off into the distance but come back to his senses quickly. Lucas felt a bit of resentment as he clenched the steering wheel a bit more.

"But still I'm thankful for the opportunity that I can invest my money into technology and cars more often. This poor man's money will not go to waste."

Lucas voice sounded soft causing Sophia to look worried as she try to reach out to grab his hand that was reaching for his phone at the center console.

"Lucas..." 

"Let's go, Sophia."

Lucas pulled up to a high-end mall and looked at Sophia briefly before smiling at her. As they both walk in they are surrounded by girls and couples in the latest highend fashion. Lucas guided Sophia to a high end Store with makeup and clothes costing in the 100s to the 1,000s.

"Lucas, you don't need to spend all this one me." Sophia was flustered and astonished as he lead her to the counter. Suddenly she spotted a designer with Blonde hair in a fringe cut and purple eyes that Sophia knows that has to be contacts. His attire was that of a regular business man but a twist of style was hinted at his tie and brooch.

"Mr.Carter. You brought your fiancee...Ms.Alder it's nice to make your acquaintance. You are as stunning as the pictures, Lucas sent." stated the bizzare man as he smiled and examined Sophia.

"Excuse me, who are you?" Sophia asked puzzled as she tilt her to think of the identity of the stranger.

"Oh~...I'm Micheal Hartfield. The designer of your dress, this is my store~! My pride in joy! You my dear are going to wear my "Golden Canary" dress." 

Micheal revealed the long guilded mermaid  dress of gold and silks, transparent sleeves, a stunning dress with bronze feathers ornaments holding as a strap. the dress train showed the illusion of feathers and the effects of the dress almost seemed like feathers could fall gracefully down as you walk. 

"Golden Canary? The dress that is legendary? the goddess-like dress!" Sophia gasped as he show cased the dress. As Sophia beamed up at the dress then she turned around quickly. 

"Is this for me?"

Both Micheal and Lucas nodded in approval with a smile. Sophia was guided by the female shop workers as she was told to try on the dress as a few minutes passed by revealing Sophia in the dress looking like a goddess causing Lucas to applaud her as she twirl and as he walked up to her with a tiara.

"A queen cannot be complete without her crown." stated Lucas as he slowly placed the golden tiara on Sophia's head making her look like a real goddess. "You are almost ready for tonight's banquet. Your makeup and Hair must be done at home."

***Later at night at the Villa***

Sophia and Lucas were getting ready upstairs as the banquet was going to start in half an hour. Sophia was still getting her final touches  as she slipped into a pair of bejeweled golden shoes to match the dress.

As Sophia moved the hair out of her eyes to look herself in the mirror she blushed. Sophia saw Lucas in the doorway waiting for her as he held out a hand for her. Sophia gently places her hand in his then walked solemnly out the room while holding up her dress with her other hand.

As she showed up to the main hall of the Villa all eyes were on here including in the crowd she spotted a girl that looked like Jasmine walking away angerily. Her father chatting amongst business men and the Elderedge family dagger glares.

"They can't do anything here to you." Lucas whispered. "If she spilled wine on your dress she will pay for. Now, let's toast."

Lucas walked up to the railing as he pour some champagne in a glass for him and Sophia. 

"Today, I wanted to announce my engagement to this wonderful woman her name is Sophia Alder, my dearest woman. To be honest, I wanted to beat Alexander for slapping my woman on her wedding day...Honestly I'm just happy to be reunited with my dear Sophia again after years of not seeing her. A toast to Us!"

Lucas raised the glass and smirked as he looked down at the crowd who also raised their glasses in a harmonious cheer. 

In the crowd a young girl looked sorrowful for herself as she left quickly causing Lucas to catch the glimpse of Aurora. Lucas eyes widden as he saw Aurora run out the house. 

'What is SHE doing here?'

Lucas and Aurora's eyes meet for a second then she ran away. As Sophia looked at Lucas and the sudden change of expression she  questioned Lucas.

"Lucas, are you alright?" Sophia stated as she saw Lucas staring off into the distance as he watched the girl run away with a glare.

'Aurora was suppose to be kept in the psychiatric ward...How can she escape?! Who took her out don't tell me...'  

Lucas thought as he continued to lock eyes on the two siblings.

"Aurora!" Joey tried to yell over the noise of the crowd and music as he tried following the sorrowful girl.

Lucas silently watched as he guided Sophia down the stairs. 

"Lucas, are we going to greet the guest?" Sophia questioned as she smiled at him and she looked up to be meet with a look of concern.

"Yeah..." Lucas voice trailed off as he smiled down at her. The guest crowd around them as Sophia try to answer questions and mingle with the other guest.

Lucas took the opportunity to go find Joey and Aurora as he wondered why this dangerous girl was wondering around his property and was allowed to roam the world with a heavy reputation on her name.
