Chapter 4: Getting stronger Pt. 2

The fight raged on as oza was trading blow for blow with assassin alta..

'If it weren't for my equipment bonuses i would be in deeper trouble..' he thought clashing with alta.. ' but this isn't getting me anywhere..'

Alta after clashing again with oza jumped back and did some weird stance and his daggers were glowing a bright red.. ali then told oza some information..

"Oza since he's an assassin he has the unique skill 'overkill' which increases his strength, speed, and gives him the added bonus of bleed effect which drains 1% of HP per second for a minute."

"Damn.. that's an op skill."

"Downside is consumes mana by 1% per two second once it's activated."

"Can you give me an estimate on his mana?"

"I'd say about 400."

"I'd have to last about 3 to 4 minutes until his mana is used up and he reverts back to normal.."

"Yes.. but with his speed and damage you better be on your best."

"Then ali relocate my remaining stat points into strength, defense, and speed do as you see fit.. give me the signal when you're done."

"alright." after a few seconds she gave the go signal "It's done!"

"Right!"

Oza then dashed forward meeting alta at the middle.. they were on par even if alta used 'overkill'.. there fight raged on no one letting up.. oza was cut once so he had to end this because he saw a pop up alerting him that the bleed effect was active.. oza decided to finish it and he went for a round house kick making alta skid a few feet back.. of balance oza decided to strike..

"You're a pretty amusing human."

"No.. i'm a nobody"

Oza saw that alta's glow was gone signalling the end of his skill.. oza then impaled alta slowly killing him..

"Tell me.. your name.. human."

"Oza.. Oza shizaki."

"Shizaki.. thank you for giving this assassin a worthy end.."

Alta exploded in blue pixels and dropping one of his daggers.. a congratulations then showed up..

"Sweet i leveled up 5 times.. the bleed effect seems to be gone too.. Ali open quest and while you're at it relocate all other remaining points."

Ali showed up and presented the quest and while oza inspected the quest ali was optimizing his stats.. before that he saw alta's dagger and a weird stone and he inspected it

"Looks like he left a parting gift." Oza picked it up and checked the stats

"Thank you alta.. i'll make sure to put these to good use.. now.. the first quest hasn't been completed yet.."

"Oza i assume you have to go through that blue portal." oza directed his attention to where ali pointed and nodded.

"Right, Let's go then."

Ali nodded and followed suit.. oza put his hand though as in testing the portal.. they both then went through and on the other side was an unfamiliar location...

"uhh ali where are we?"

"It seems this isn't danario we might have gotten transported somewhere else."

"Well at least it ain't in the dungeon.. how long were we even in there.."

"I don't know myself, but let us find the mayor or something.. and check your quest first."

"Oh right."

Oza and ali walked around the new town they were in and it looked like it was pretty normal one.. townsfolk were friendly and were easy to approach.. after asking where was the one looking after the town was they were directed to a building.. oza thanked them and soon he entered... at the desk was an adult man doing some paper work and he soon noticed oza..

"Oh my good evening young man! Are you the one I've been hearing about that arrived to our town?"

"Ah yes, word travels fast huh?"

"Yes, Oh.. where are my manners i'm the chief here daniel won's the name and please call me daniel, won is my family name."

Alright well Sir. daniel we- i was traveling and managed to stumble here i was asking if it wasn't to much to stay in your town till i get back on the road."

"Ah yes that would be alright.. and if i maybe be bold what journey are you on?"

"I'm headed to danario." the place surprised the daniel..

"But danario is fairly far from here might take you a week do get there."

"Well that might be alright i'm in no rush anyway."

"If that's the case please stay as long as you want.. we may not be advanced in technology but we can offer you hospitality."

"That is quite alright sir daniel."

Oza left the office after daniel gave him a note to give one of hotels in the town.. after giving the person who was in charge the note he was given one of the better rooms.. he thanked the person and entered his room and once he closed the door he fell face first onto the bed..

"You seem tired."

"Like hell.. i feel like i could sleep for days.."

"and you might want to check your quest, skills, and stats before passing out."

"Right right.."

Oza first opened up his skills and saw that he had the overkill skill..

"When did i learn this?"

"When you witnessed alta use it.. the jack-of-all-trades class is one of the rarest classes since you can access, learn, and use all skills you come across."

"Well damn that's nice to hear."

Oza fell asleep as ali just smiled and covered him up with a blanket and caressed his hair..

"You've been through so much.. i won't leave or betray you just like they did."

Oza in his sleep smiled and soon ali left to do what she was told leaving oza to rest and to get ready for tomorrow adventure..
