One thing they didn’t know as they waltzed through was that the rain would suddenly start falling without a warning. The drizzle first touched Judi's hair then the thin woman yelled at her to go faster. The rain came drizzling down so heavily that they were soaked within its first drop. And as the crowd in Agor scattered on the search for shelter, the commotion pulled them apart and Judi was pulled to a parallel direction away from her assailants. She took hold of her consciousness and made the escape out of their view. She took to the streets. She could see that they had lost the crowd and could now see her. She bolted, letting the rain drizzle her hair and getting to a two way street, took the left.
She didn’t know why she took the left but it just felt right. She hid behind the brick wall of an old church unable to continue further or back. It was time to make her stand...if she could. She took a long plank and just stood waiting for them to get here. She didn’t know what she was thinking but hell, she had to do something and it better be worth it. She dropped her bag inside the church as a trap to lure them in, then hid herself in the most strategic position for an offensive attack. If only, she could trust someone right now. She could really use an extra help or someone to talk to about all this shit right now. But there was no one and this was her reality.
“Focus Judi” she kept saying to herself as the rain water dripped from her hair and all she could hear was the tap-tap sound of the rain above the roof and splatter to the ground. She just stood on the lookout with an alert look, then she saw the both of them edging closer to her. Judi prayed that they should stop. She wished that they stop but they kept on coming closer. She didn’t know if she was brave enough for this but she had to. She had to brave for Makinde... had to be brave for herself and for everyone who needed to know the truth.
She closed her eyes and just breathed within as they continued coming closer. When they were close enough, she freaking mounted all on them and swung the plank at them with every muscle in her body. It got right to the face of the thin woman and to the chest of the big man. The thin woman dropped straight to the ground but the big man anger just flared the more
“Oh uh” her brain screamed. She hit him hard again but he kept on inching closer to her. It felt like the Goliath tale all over again but here was the giant that didn’t want to die. He took the huge wood out of Judi's hand and threw it to one side. Judi stared on with absolutely no idea what to do. He took her by surprise, choking her neck and pulling her up. The only thing Judi could see in his eyes was red cells. Just like the “mountain” in the game of thrones. She bit his hand while the mountain shoved her away as she crashed so hard on the ground with a heavy thud. She could feel the stars in her eyes. She could feel the twinkling light fade away as she struggled to keep her eyes open. All she had to do, was to stay conscious to stay alive. She could feel the pain on her back. It ached so bad and blood slowly gushed out from her head. Her eyes was hazy and all she could see was shadows. She pulled her hands scouring around for anything. She didn’t know what she was looking for but she had to find it. The mountain came closer to her... Every step terrified her the more as she was paralyzed on the ground and searched faster with her hands for whatever it was that she might find but she didn’t find it. She just came back with nothing. Absolutely nothing. All she could hear in her head was Sia screaming “Am still breathing!”. C'mon Judi. She kept on searching while the giant pulled out a knife to end it. She was supposed to give up but she didn’t, her adrenaline surged faster and energy didn’t stop vibrating. She could smell death, she could smell fear, she could smell the blood dropping down her face but she was still breathing. Just for now and that meant she wasn’t gonna stop searching.
Judi smiled as her hands felt something. The giant was way too close for her to miss and she didn’t intend to. She could feel him smiling that it was over. Then she took the pistol and burst his fucking brains out.
