First hug

I was sitting in an insanely crowded café, not exactly café to be honest, looking at kevin. He was placing order on the counter.

"Your chocolate chai, miss." He said placing two kulhads of tea on the table.

I smiled at this treatment. I was not used to this before meeting him.

"So, did you enjoy yesterday?" 

" Yes" i saw him shifting, preparing himself to listen my non stop talking " I entered and i was so anxious but rosh..

....... And then i waved you bye but you didn't saw" finally complete.

"I saw" he said sipping his second chai.

"Why did you left early?" 

"Papa called"

This was the perfect time to ask him why he is avoiding his group. He spent all the time in college with me. He was cancelling plans with his friends and that is not a good sign. Why so cold? Why avoiding them?. Even raaj and armaan confessed that he was avoiding them, and if he sit with them, he never stopped talking about me.

And completely stopped talking to priya? I thought they were close? 

"Are you armaan and raaj good? I mean everything okay?" 

"Yeah, perfect" 

"What about priya? Did you talk to her ?" 

"Yeah" he said casually.

"I thought you guys hang out together."

"Why so many questions?" He asked raising his eyebrows.

"Let me be straight. Why are you avoiding them?"

" I am not, don't overthink"

I just stared at him. This is the 3rd time i was asking this and he was not going to escape today

Raising his hands he said "okay i like spending time with you." 

"I like talking to you ---"

My phone buzzed, call from my aunt.

"Hello" 

"You mom is on the bus, she is coming back, everything is sorted now" she was screaming.

"Omg! When? How? I mean i talked to her... I am so happy....tell me everythin...."

Another incoming call. I ran out of the café, in the parking. 

"Hello, I am in a bus-" said mumma.

"Are you coming back? I talked to you in morning, why didn't you tell me then?"

"We are going to goa"she screamed.

At this point i was literally jumping. She informed me that she will be here by tomorrow before hanging up. Also not to tell my papa about this.It was a surprise.

I turn around and saw kevin smiling ear to ear. 

"Mumma is coming back" i jumped and hugged him tightly.

I quickly took my bag from him.

"Omg! I don't have to wake up early now, i missed her so much. I should have visited your church early.---" 

I shook him hard when he was stunned there. Petrified. My mom came back and he is in shock?

"I really need to leave. I can't wait. Bye" i said and left.

I drove fast, cancelled the lectures." I am going to relax today" i said to myself. I laid on sofa watching tv when papa came home.

"Welcome home." I chirped handing him the water.

"You cancelled your lecture today?" Asked papa 

"I was tired. I need to rest" i replied.

"Hmmm. I am hungry" said papa.

"Ohh, i have cooked vegetable Biryani" i said.

"NO. I will be sick if I eat the food made by you.I will order" he said.

"Yeah, whatever" i said.

I was happy. I slept more than 12hours that night.
