My fault or his?

In just one week, kevin updated me with everything, how he met armaan, armaan was into photography and editing stuff and kevin joined him in first year. Armaan helped him alot in the starting, but then armaan's interest diverted into the electronic music. But kevin continued editing stuff, and now he owns a camera worth lakhs. He earns too. His hobby changed into passion.

He calls himself cinematographer now.

It was the part of my schedule to reach college, listen to Kevin's stuff, chirpy boy he was. 

Everyday he would tell me about his ex, how they spent a night under the sky, and same old same old. I paid attention in the starting but eventually i got bored and pretend that i am listening.

And his stupid imaginations were cherry on the top. 

During the 3rd lecture, carol me and kevin were sitting together.

"Did he tell you about me and him?" Whispered carol. She sat on my right side on the bench. After kevin introduced us, carol and i too became friends and often sat with us.

"What about you and him?" I whispered slowly. Professor was teaching us cycle cycle, he was stuck in Metaphase from over a week. 

"Thattttttttt." She tilted and looked at him. He was sitting on my left side.

"Carol, pay attention. What are the characterists of chromosomes in Metaphase?" Yelled professor. He was wierd, with sticky aura around him.

Kevin and carol had a thing in first year. Kevin was not about it, the same with carol.

Every now and then she teased him by flirting and saying she still have feelings. Only teasing.

She is in SUPER COMMITTED long distance relationship with Aarsh.

Lecture ended soon, we three sat there alone talking.

Okayyyyy, so along with carol i started teasing him too and he turned red every time. I never saw a guy who blushed so openly. After few minutes carol left too.

"Ahh, enough of teasing me. Tell me about you? You know everything about me, even more than i wanted to share" he said packing his bag.-" And yes, dont get started with your daily routine. Give me something juicy" 

I hesitated.

"Come on yr, we are friends" looking at me.

"Okay, so i have been in a single relationship that didn't even last a month. Thats it" 

"Why?! I mean just a month?" Him curiously.

"Thats for another day"... Got interrupted 

"Communication is the key" he said

I took a deep breath " don't judge me okay. 3 years back i met him on social media. He was my senior, he proposed me on new year eve. It was my 12th back then so we only managed to meet twice a week. One day he insisted to come over to his place, he assured his sister would be with us."

Kevin was listening, first time, with concentration. I secretly wished our phone rang or any other diversion so that i can slip out of this conversation.

" I told my friend, the only one who knew about this relationship, and headed to his place after my physics tuition. Our tuition timings were...

"Get back to the story i don't want to know your timings" he said.

When did he got this smart huh.

"I went to his place coz he assured me his sister would be there, his sister knew about us. I got there, he said his sister was sleeping in his room. I didn't wanted to bother her so i sat on sofa. After some time he tried to force himself on me, he was from well educated and reputed family. He said boys have needs. Pulled me up and took me in his room. His sister was not there. I didn't let him touch me." I sighed looking at him.

"I broke up immediately and headed home. As i reached home, my mother slapped me right across my cheek asking where i was." 

That friend who knew about my relationship called my mom to ask where i was and why didn't i came tuition today."

"It was too much for me to handle and decided to be honest. I told my parents where i was but didn't have courage to say what really happened. I tried but words never came out." Finally completed.

He looked at me for a while, his face filled with sympathy and anger.

"Don't give me that look okay. I am past that already. Strong woman" i said flexing my arms.

"I am so sorry" 

"Don't be. But never ask me to repeat this again." I winked

"You are strong. I respect you even more now" he said.

I smiled. "Shall we leave or you are going to cry now?" I said lifting my bag up.

He remained quiet 

"Oiii devdas. Come on now. Every girl experience this atleast once in her life. Get over it" i said walking towards the door.

While walking down the stairs i said "respect my privacy and never share this with anyone"

"Never" he promised.
