A year later

Fast forward to year after Bob and Susan wedding.

 Susan has been managing her father's company greatly with out any hiccups. The first thing she did after gaining power in the company as the chairwoman is to stop her husband from coming to the company as if he own the place. Secondly she proved herself worthy of that position that shut all of them up and support her wholeheartedly.

Susan managed the company well with the help of the capable people in the company and Bob her husband lend a hand too when necessary(despite her stopping him from joining her into the office, he still helped her willingly without complain).

 During her one year in office, the company has witness many growth even their stock increased by 25%. Her personality has changed greatly. Although she is still saucy and bad temper but she sees everything and everyone in a new light. She also appreciate hard work and reward her employee for there good work. Many employees are always on their toe to deliver to their ability for the better value of the company.

Her mother was so proud of her, she could not believe that she will achieve this feat just within a year. it mean the good work will not go to waste if she continue like this.

At home 

Bob played a role of a perfect husband to his wife despite her short comings. He made her fall completely in love with him. Susan has complete trust in him to a level that she made him a signatory to her personal account that contains billion of dollars both from her inheritance and her dividend from the company. 

Bob spoilt her, care for her and be her pillar of support but behind his cheerful self is a man full of deceit, greed and devil in disguise.

Susan sat down in the living room pondering on her marriage life for over a year now, she could not believe she will fall helplessly in love with this guy. she smiled when she remembered the way he spoil her and care for her like a true gentleman. 

She frown immediately she remembered that things is taking another turn over two month ago they celebrated their one year anniversary. He has even chased her friend  away. She looked around the house she felt very lonely not to have anyone to talk to except the two maids and right now they have retired to there room. Susan dropped the file she is holding and look at the time to see its eleven p.m at night and Bob is not yet back. 

She picked  up her phone to call him ;" hello Dear! hello! hello! Hello!" 

"What could have been the problem ?" she asked herself. She dialed the number again but this time it is switched off. She guessed he might be busy in the company as per the excuse he has always been given her over a month now which she believed because she know how strenuous it is handling a multi millionaire company like theirs. She sigh before standing up for her room she is tired and needed rest. Her body ache but she manage to her room shower and lay on her bed.

In the club

Bob sat in a private room with his friends with girls surrounding them. Bob placed his hand on the  thigh of the girl besides him while she play with his chest with her hand moving down ward to the main man caressing it and he too began to fond her breast too without shame or caring about their surroundings. They are all drinking, smoking and gambling. They are bird of a feather. They did not care what each other do to the girls. 

Bob felt his phone vibrated in his trouser pocket, he was so carried away with whatever he is doing. He fished out the phone without checking the caller. He placed the phone on his ear. He dropped the call directly when he heard Susan's voice . He told her he is busy with office work that is why he always came late . He has the feelings she will call again he turn off the phone directly to continue with what he was doing. He knew she is so gullible and trust him blindly ,so he will find something to tell her later.

Jerry Tim's life for the past one year is full of darkness. His presence in the office is like demon coming from hell to torment the world. All staffs are terrified of his presence, they are like walking on an egg shell around him.He sacked anybody for any simple mistake. No one want to loss his or her job. They all ran away whenever he is coming and they pray not to have any contact with him.

Jerry knows the impact his presence have on his employees and how they are wary of him. He care less about all that. He was always in bad mood, he tried to buried all his sorrow by concentrating on work. 

He spent all his time mostly in office and anytime he went home he is always moody and preferred to stay alone in his study room either working, drinking or smoking. 

As usual Jerry was in his study room, looking out of the window with a stick of cigarette in between his finger deep in thought. He has not overcome the blow he suffered seeing the picture of the love of his life getting married to another man. "That son of a bitch..." he said clenching his other finger into a ball.

"My Susan! how I wished I made my self known to you in time. Thou we are miles away from each other, things can still work out fine between us (he said with confidence). How I wish I have the chance to express my feeling to you then, how I wish I tell you my mind when we met later, my Sussy, my Susan Richard. He said is many hows  to her portrait in the room."

He smiled when he remembered the first time they met thirteen years ago. "What can I do without you Susan you have imprint you name and memory in my heart that is so difficult to remove."

He closed his eyes to reminisce about the first they met. the first very day he received his many first from her.

FLASHBACK

Thirteen years ago at country A high school.

In the school cafeteria. Everyone were seated to enjoy their lunch when a girl came in. 

She is in class three, she is beautiful snobby and saucy. Everyone knows she is a rich spoilt girl. So no one want to associate with her.  She looked around for a vacant seat but there is none and no one is ready to shift for her .

Jerry sat in the corner looking at her with interest, she looked back and their eyes met. 

He stood up from his seat and invite her over. She sat elegantly without saying a word to him. She began to eat her food. Jerry shook her head he was stunned to see her behavior. 

He bend down to picked him his food tray when he mistakenly knock down the water cup on the table. The water pour directly on Susan soiling her  cloth in the process.

" I am so sorry ...., let me clean it for you;" Jerry said picking up the tissue to wipe her cloth. His hand is still an inch away from her when suddenly

Paaak! he was slapped

Susan slapped him very hard using all her energy in the process. Jerry was short of words not expecting to receive such treatment when he was been nice to her.

Susan hissed at the young guy ;" you this pervert ! " that is why you pour the water on me just for you to touch me? "Now you want to use you filthy hands on me? you this imbecile."

Jerry was just looking at the arrogant girl in front of him not saying anything at all, this is the first time someone talk to him like that talk less of slapping him..,..he breath in to calm down . "Am sorry it wasn't intentional. let me help you clean this." He wanted to help once again when she kicked him ruthlessly. He was not prepared for that, he landed  butt hard on the floor. 

Everyone present looked at them in amusement. They just laughed at them without interfering in their business.

He looked at her and vowed in his mind to retaliate but in another way by making her his forever.

PRESENT

 The corner of his lips curved into a beautiful smile.

The burnt on his finger tip brought him to present, he looked at his finger. the cigarette has completely burn out burning his finger in the process. He put out the flame ant throw the remaining into the ash tray.

He noticed he has not removed his tie and suit. He sigh,  He slumped on his chair, closed  his eyes to nap.

He woke around two in the morning, not believing he nap for four whole hours. He beamed when he  remembered the beautiful dream he had just now. He dream of Susan heavily pregnant coming to call him down for dinner with a girl behind him that looks exactly  like him with eyes like her mother. He stood up hug her and kiss her on the lips. The little girl closed her eyes when they all burst out laughing. They look perfect like a happy family.

He stood up happily walk to his room freshen up and slept with peacefully till morning.
