Everything gone 21

Susan got into her car in a hurry and drove to a distance away from the apartment. She parked her car in a secluded area before she breakdown. The tears flow from her eyes like a broken dam, she has hold herself from breaking down in front of those traitors.

 She will not want any of them to see her cry. She will not give them the opportunity to make fool of herself, that is why she has to put up a strong front in their presence.

She did not know she has been a fool for so long ; "I am a fool ! yes, yes, yes, ( sobbing) Susan you are number one fool. God, am I such a big stupid fool?".  

Susan continue to sob. She placed her head on the steering of her car "  I am such an idiot,why did I allow her to stay with us? if I had know I had a serpent as friend will I have suggested to that jerk to move her in my home? Why ? why is this happening? why did they play me? is it because am not pregnant yet? I am perfectly fine ! perfectly fine." Susan continue to talk to herself between her sobbing.

She lean into her car seat. She placed her hand on her head . Suddenly she remembered something that she has failed to notice ; "oh my God! oh my God! now that I think about it why do I have to sleep like a log of wood every time that bastard friend gave me my night juice?  I am a light sleeper but....I do sleep heavily when Betty was still staying  with us. Now that I noticed its no longer like that...wait! are they feeding me something?" 

"ahhhhh! Susan you are a big time fool, idiot, imbecile!. why do I fail to notice this! why!!!" Susan screamed on top of her lungs for been a fool that fail to notice this details. She continue to cursed herself for been carried away with her work.

"I need to go to my mother.  oh! this is too much for me to handle" she said using her sleeve to clean her tears . 

She started the engine of her car. 

grhnnnnn! grhnnnnnn! ; the ringing of her phone caught her attention. Honestly she is not in any mood to take any call but she must not mix work with her personal life. She took tissue from the dashboard blow her nose and dry her tears very well. 

She picked up the call, she frowned when she see a strange number  calling her. Susan drop the phone on her lap she hesitate to pick it up. She guess it will be one the traitors, right now she did not want to talk to any of them until she clear her mind and think of a way to deal with them. 

The ringing of her phone brought her out of revenge that is eating her up. She sigh. She picked up the call ; hello, who is this? Susan asked when she noticed it is not the voice of the people she expected.

"Hello, is this Miss Richard?"

"Yes, what can I do for you?"

"oh! miss Richard, this is Jeffrey ..."

"Oh! Mr Jeffrey  from harmony bank right?"

"yes, you are right ma" Jeffrey answered with a smile from the other line.

"what can I do for you sir? I don't think I have any problem with you or do I? "she asked jokingly.

 "Miss Richard am sorry to bother you this late. Thou i was suppose to come to your office this morning but something crop up on my end...."

"Mr Jeffrey can you please go straight to the point, I don't have all day " Susan said pleadingly. she is not in any mood for chit chat.

"Sorry ma, let me go straight to the point.  I just want to inform you that your loan repayment is long over due,and if you did. of start the payment..."sigh. Am afraid your collateral will be confiscated."  Jeffrey said with a hint of sadness.

"What do you mean ! "She yelled while sitting straight in her seat.

"what do you mean you don't understand? "Jeffrey asked with raised brow

"Mr Jeffrey , am sorry! so sorry ! please I don't seems to understand everything you are saying! "Susan said cleaning her sweaty forehead. 

"Miss Richard? I don't get you either! how can you tell me you don't know what am saying? "Jeffrey asked slightly confused.

"Please, I beg you can you be more clear " Susan asked shifting uncomfortably in her seat.

"Miss Richard, you clearly obtained loan from our bank.  your husband and one other man submitted the requested form three month ago and it even has your signature. So what are you now saying?."

"Mr Jeffrey, do you mean the request form has my signature; "Susan asked with wide eyes.

" Yes, I have all the forms with me ma."

"You me....mean you have the form with you?" she stutter. "if I may ask please how much are we talking about and what collateral did I use"; she asked impatiently.

"you obtained one hundred billion dollar loan and you use your house at green valley estate and your mother's house as collateral;" Mr Jeffrey answered.

"our house, ahhh! am doomed; Mr Jeffrey can you do me a favour?" Susan asked

"yes! any thing, I will help you" he assured

"Mr Jeffrey you have to believe me. I know nothing about all this. i don't know anything" She said drying her tears.

"you mean you know nothing"Mr Jeffrey asked

 "you have to help me please. can you send me all the forms and please the CCTV footage of my husband from that day through my mail...no, no send it to my assistant mail I will froward it to you now." Susan pleaded.

"OK! I will help with that. I  just call ahead the letter will still be send to you tomorrow. I have...."

Susan disconnect the call without allowing him to finish his statement. She was sweating profusely ,  in fact she is feeling dizzy right now. It is just that all her world has collapse right in front of her. She did not know what is going on.  Susan wanted to cry but her tears failed to cooperation.

She picked up her phone and redial the number that just called her. She called Mr Jeffrey, the latter picked the call instantly.

"Hello,Miss Richard what can I do for you this time?" He asked

"Please Mr Jeffrey, what of my personal account? . I mean my....?

"Miss Richard, am sorry to tell you your husband came to clear that account two days ago. "

"OK sir and please don't forget to send me all the details."she drop the call without waiting for him to reply.

"What is wrong with this lady."Mr Jeffrey said to himself.

"Am doomed! doomed, ahhh! Bob has killed me! what did I do to deserve this!" Susan  wailed . "All my personal saving and what my father left me gone! all gone."

Susan cried so much with mucus coming out of her nostrils.

She wipe her tears that failed to stop. she picked the phone she has dropped earlier to inform her assistant. She dialed her phone number...."Emy  pick up, please pick up...."she continue to call her assistant but she did not pick up.

She drop her phone and drove off to her home. She drive with the remaining sanity left in her. Today is the worst day off her life apart from the day she lost her father. She can not believe her her life will change in just three hours. 

Her house and that of her mothers gone. All her money gone and she even gain a debt of a hundred billion dollars in return for all she has lost. What is she going to do? her best friend betrayed her, not only did her husband cheated on her he dupe her and to crown it all her parent in law know everything but kept it away from her. Susan replay everything that has happened  to her in her head , she did not know where to go or what to do.  She just want to go home and sleep maybe everything is a bad dream. Maybe if she wake up every thing will turn to normal. 

She parked her  car and rushed  upstairs to her room . She knows it is not a dream this is reality, she must think of a way to find out the truth. She can not repay the money she know. nothing about. She wanted to call Emily again,she checked the time it is already nine thirty at night. while she is still fondling with her phone a maid knock on the door to call her for dinner ;" ma' am?"

"yes Amelia;" she answered.

"I have reheat your dinner should I serve you now? "the maid asked

" Thank you Amelia but I am not hungry and go to bed it is late already."

"Ok ma' am. good night."

"Good night dear."

Susan sat silently on her bed looking into space. She wipe her tears while she was doing that she suddenly felt suffocated. She did not know what is happening to her. She dialed Emily's number again but this time she felt dizzy. She stood up to go to the bathroom. she blame all that is happening right now on her bad mood. immediately she stand her leg gave her everything turn black . Susan struggle to stand up but all her effort is futile. She tried two more time before she gave up and fell into deep sleep.
