How could y*u?

Susan rushed out of the Kelly's mansion. She is hungry truly but she can not sit still with all the new information she heard now. She has even lost her appetite right now. ( who will even eat when they hear another woman might be pregnant for their husband).

She check the time its already ten minutes to six she sigh as she wonder where Bob get the huge amount his parent mention to have received. 

"Although he is helping them in the family business but lately they are not executing any project that will fetch them much. more so what did they mean by his first achievement that his father failed for years;" Susan rub her forehead as she feels a headache coming.

 She closed her eyes as she tried to remember if she heard correctly when her mother in law mentioned someone pregnancy." could it be they are aware Bob was seeing someone behind her back? Who could it be? Is it Betty or someone else? did his parent encourage him to engaged in extra marital affairs? Are they doing all this because she is yet to get pregnant? if i should remember correctly its over a year we get married but nothing is wrong with me or maybe I can't have a child but did they lie to me? when did all of this started?" 

 She sat in her car saying all her thought out. She can't believe she is asking herself so many question. The more she thinks about it the more she needed answer to all this questions. After she calm down she started the car, drove towards Betty apartment. 

Till now she can not believe what she saw and she has to see them together to make her believe ( seeing is believing ) . A moment later she found herself at the parking lot of Betty apartment she enter the elevator on a second thought she come out and made for the stairs. 

She is nervous on what she might see or hear. She has underestimate herself she thinks she is strong enough but she is wrong. She has noticed Bob's car when she parked at the lot earlier but she want to confirm with her own eyes. She arrived at the front door of her friends apartment after climbing the flight of stairs in her heel though her legs is strain but she felt less pain on her leg compare to what she is feeling in her heart.

She has been pacing in the hallway for over five minute now, she is covered in sweat but she careless. She is very afraid to knock on the door, she could hear laughter coming from inside. 

Susan exhale , she summoned up her courage and knock on the door softly.

knock! knock!

Bob please get the door ; she heard Betty voice loud and clear her heart sank to the bottom, the name alone has confirmed her fear. She asked herself inwardly where she has gone wrong, maybe she is the originator of her own problem?, may be her friend seduced  her husband when she was still Leaving with them she nodded to herself that must be the case. 

she knock again; This time she heard his voice

"Coming ...."

Bob went inside the room to drab the bathrobe to cover himself while Betty went inside the bathroom to clean herself up. the knock on the door cause them to rush though what they are doing but it is still obvious that something like that has just happened.

"Coming...; "Bob said opening the door from inside.

He should have asked who is at the door but he was talking to someone on phone.

Bob opened the door but what stood in front of him made him to drop the phone he was holding,the was stunned beyond words. "shit !, what is she doing here? . Does that mean she heard my parent? this is more troublesome" he said to himself.

 The two of them stand at the door facing each other each with their own thought. ( Susan ; there is no more evidence am looking for, it means you were here when you called your parent, so it is Betty that is pregnant for you, she thought to herself).

When Betty did not hear anything coming from outside , she finish her what she was doing in there ; Bob who is there? she asked as she come into the living room with towel wrap on her head. Dear, who is ... she paused when she come to the direction of the door, she could not believe her eyes. What is Susan doing here? she murmured 

She lower her head, terrified to look at the person at the door.

Bob chest was beating hard against his chest. thou he did not feel remorse for what he has done but he just did not like he was caught red handed. She can sue him if she has all evidence. He conceal all the emotion that pass through his eyes and move out of the door. He went back to the living room, pacing around.

 Betty just stood at the spot. Her eyes met with Bob. The latter just shrugged.

Susan went inside even if she was not invited, she was visibly shaking. She moved her legs with so much difficulty as if it was a lead.

Betty looked at the Susan who was moving toward her with an expression less eyes. She  also move backward. She was so afraid , she is guilty of betraying her friend. She was caught red handed. How will she defend herself now?  Will her friend believe her?. She look at herself she is still in her bathrobe and friend's husband sitting in her living room in a bathrobe as well. She knows nobody in her right sense will believe anything she will say right now. more so it is only a fool that will not know what had just happened in the living room.

Susan finally made her way to Betty's side, she eye her husband through her peripheral vision. She noticed he is sitting down with his head low and fondling with his phone. ( is he guilty? may be it is Betty that seduced him? she asked herself with her eyes fixed on Betty.

Betty was trembling with her eyes closed, she could not look at Susan at all. She break in a cold sweat. She knows her friend out burst is bad. She has a bad temper.

"How could you?", Susan said when she found her voice

Betty placed her hands together in front of her pleading ; "am sorry , am so sorry "; she continue to plead.

" You two! why! why!" Susan screamed. She deep her hand into her shoulder bag and fish out the envelop Emily gave her earlier, she removed all the photographs and throw it directly at Bob. She glared at Betty with bloodshot eye before leaving that filthy place in a hurry without looking back.

"Honey, are you sure she did not hear us?" Mrs Kelly asked her husband for the umpteenth time.

Mr Kelly place his hand on his forehead, he sigh ; he is tired to answer her again ; "dear you have asked me for how many time now? anyways, I have told you she did not and if she did Bob will take of her, so stop bothering me,don't cause me an indigestion."

"Am sorry love. Its just that I have bad feeling, that's all nothing more. I will stop asking now. "

"Dear, I think we should stroll in the garden to take your mind of all this ." Mr Kelly suggested.

"Honey, don't stress your self, I have already take my mind off that but that's good too" I want fresh air.

Bob and Betty stated at each other before they squatted to look at the photographs that are scattered on the floor.

Betty used her hand to cover her mouth not believing what she is looking at.

"oh my God! Bob? what is all this? where could she have get all this?" Betty asked while holding one if the image that show her almost naked upper body  with Bob kissing her. Their faces show clearly. 

Bob also looked at the one he is holding his face is clear with the back view of Betty. Anyone that know them will not find it difficult to identified them.

The two look at their images, they know if this got to any reporter their peaceful and secret days are gone. This will make a huge scandal. 

Bob's face twitched, he could not accept that someone naive like Susan have them investigated. Could it be someone has suspect them already; Bob thought to himself.

Betty lean unto his shoulder dejectedly she is thinking of what to do because if Susan still has another copy of this photos they are doomed ;" Bob what should we do?"

"Don't worry my dear I will handle this."Bob declared.

"Bob you don't get it, what if she release this to reporters. what will become of us? Bob am afraid? " Betty said almost crying.

Bob hugged her ;" don't worry my love, trust me. she can't do a thing. He lift up her face so she can look at him. I promise this will not see the light of the day. I will handle it"He promised.

"OK, I trust you but you have to be fast." Betty said.

"Now let me change my cloth so I can handle it immediately" Bob said, he went into the bedroom to change his cloth with Betty on his trail.

I want to change my cloth too. Am following you.

"are you sure of that?"

"Yes am sure."

They both change their cloth and went out of the building.
