2020-10-20 04:01:00Susan was busy on her desk as usual been an assistant to a multitask CEO itself is not easy. She kept looking toward the door way to see if the boss will enter, she check her time for the umpteenth time it is almost 12 o'clock she wonder what kept the boss. She frown when she noticed the Clara too was not on seat.
" What is going on." She muttered to no one in particular. She went back to her seat to enjoy her day alone. After sometime alone she felt the presence of someone, she look up to see John smiling down at her.
" Hi Jay!" she greeted with a bright smile.
" My ever hardworking lady." He bow dramatically. John as been transfer to the 20th floor meant for the secretaries. CEO floor which is the top floor only consist of two secretaries, personal assistant and the CEO himself. He hate having many people around him. Susan is curious why he was transfer to the floor below but she did not have time to ask him but now that the opportunity arise she will surely satisfy her curiosity.
" Come on ! Its good to have you here, its time for lunch let's go and grab something together." John took her hand and drag her towards the elevator." Since you invited me, I will not hold back." The two laugh at his remark.
" Jay? I want to ask, why were you suddenly transfer to the other floor did you do something wrong?" Susan asked with worry , he is the only one that genuinely treat her as a friend. John smile when he saw her expression. " Worrywart, come on! I just have something to handle there. More so it is lively there than your office too boring."
They burst out laughing when other employees look at the wondering what is making them laugh. " You can say that again."
" Were you aware that boss travelled to country Y on business trip."
" No why did you ask?" John shrugged his shoulder " Nothing, I was just wondering why he has to take Clara with him went you are his assistant."
Susan did not notice the expression that pass through his eyes as she is busy scooping up food from her plate. Thou John and Jerry are distant cousin they treat each other like boss and employee at work, so many people did not know if their relationship. In everything Jerry did work always come first except for the person in front of him.
'Look at how innocent looking she is! How am I going to tell her that I was transferred because of her, that Jerry is eating a jar of vinegar seeing them together .' He sigh when he remember how his cousin/ boss is serious in love with her and quite possessive of her, he is happy that he find love since he despise women gathering but he did not know how Susan felt about him . " You are not saying anything? "
" John? what do you want me to say? He is the owner of his company and he can ask anyone whosoever to accompany him for business trip." John nod at her and continue to eat his food.
" How did you even know of this information?" John looked up from his food. " You don't need to know!"
" Stingy!!"
" I heard that!" She stick out her tongue at him which make him chuckle.

Mark was busy cooking dinner in the kitchen, he is skill and lives his live independently. He smile when he look at himself not believing he will be able to cook for the only woman after his heart.
Mark is the boss on his own, he own one of the best technology company in the country. He is currently the CEO of MacTech company, he is a genius in computer related work and one of the best hacker in the country but he his skill as a hacker is known only to their friends.
He is right hand man to Jerry concerning any secret work that involve hacking aside that he is in charge of his security programs. Anyone that want to hack into there company will not be able to pass through the second stage of firewall protecting their system before virus attack the persons system. Hacking to him is easy as licking lollipop .
He grew up with Peter, Jerry and Cathy. He use to do everything in his power to satisfy Cathy when they were young but the latter always follow Jerry like a lovesick fool. Jerry is obvious to all her advances but did not reciprocate not because Mark had feeling for her (he will get whatever he wanted) but because he saw her as a friend and sister. The more time they spent together the more Cathy try to throwing herself at him, thou her act was clumsy at least she conveyed her messages .
He remembered one faithful evening when they all had went to swimming class together, he has try his possible best to try and impressed her with his skill but she always ignore him.
After their practice they all went to the the changing room, he pushed the door of the bathroom open to see Cathy trying to kiss Jerry but he had push her away until she land butt first on the cold floor.
He did not think twice before he landed his fist on his nose . " You coldblooded beast! how could you treat her so rough?!!" He shouted at Jerry ignoring the fact that it was Cathy trying to take advantage of him while he was undressing himself. Cathy felt warm by his gesture how he revenge her not minding they are best friends and he did judge her for what she has done.
" Sorry, are you OK! Can you stand up on your own! " Mark asked her series of question while placing the towel around her. Since then onward Cathy attitude toward him change for the best and the this singular act put strain on their friendship with Jerry until Jerry travelled to further his studies abroad.
When they later met during there holidays Mark apologized so also Cathy stating she just wanted to know if what she felt for him was love or infatuation but after the kiss they shared she confirmed it is not love but infatuation.
Their relationship came back to normal but Mark felt that he behave like a jerk for treating his friend like that. Ever since then their is nothing Jerry asked him that he will not help with. His smile brighten when he recalled how she confessed and fell over heels for him.
" Why are you smiling like a fool.?" Susan voice brought him back to live.
" Cooking for my darling of course.!"
" Really???"
" How is work today? " Mark changed the subject swiftly he did not want to get teased by her again.
" Fine"
" I see! seeing his bright your face is today I know work is fine."
" Alright! please serve dinner let me get change first. By the way, is Cathy back?"
" No but on her way!"

Susan was brought out of her wool gather when her head bump onto the window of the car. She looked around to see they are taking a different route . She did not suspect a thing she thought she might have blotted out a different address when she boarded the car earlier." Sir? can you please turn around this is not the way to where am going.
