Where are y*u?

JJerry did not visit Warm restaurant for two weeks, he has decided to give a break. He did not want to pressurizes her or make her uncomfortable. 

Although, he did not visit the restaurant in person, he has many capable hands that gives him daily report of Susan. 

Jerry buries all his sorrow in work. But right now he has endure enough.  The past weeks is a great torture for him. He was looking at some report but all what he see his her face. He stood up from his seat and went outside. 

Matt was startled to see his boss rushing out of the office . " Sir?" Jerry waves his hand and ignore him. " Cancel all my meeting for today." He instruct without waiting for him to reply or ask any question.

 Matt look at him not understanding what is wrong with him. Some times he is warm and another time he is cold like south pole, he shook his head at the thought. 

" Give me the car key!" Jerry said to the driver.

" Sir?" 

" Are you deaf or something? don't make me repeat my self" Jerry said with a raised voice. He is running our of time. It is almost closing hour for Susan. He can not miss today without seeing her.

The driver handed him the key with reluctance. The safety of his boss is his priority but since he want the key, he can only do so with reluctance.

" I don't want anybody to follow me!" He said facing the bodyguards that are ready to enter their own car to follow him. The bodyguards did not believe what he said , he rarely go out alone. They want to ask question but they can feel the aura around him. " Yes sir! " They answered in unison.

Jerry entered the car and drove out of the office building. He drove to warm restaurant in no time. He went in to sit, this time he did not book a private room like he usually do. He just want to sit quietly and watch her every move. He ordered red wine. He checked the time, it is almost fifteen minutes he arrived but the person he was looking for is no where to be found. 

He can not take anymore. He wanted to stand up to look for the manager. 

  As God will have it, Mrs Andrew come inside  " ooh! Mr Jerry. Good afternoon sir."  She greet him with a smile. Ever since some one recommend her restaurant to them this man has been patronizing here. Not only that her place is well know now in this city. " We have not see you around for some time now?" 

" No problem." He answered with a flat tone. Jerry did not have time for chit chat.

" I have not see Susan around. " he asked with straight face.

Shiver run down her spine when she saw the look on his face. She has heard so many thing about this ruthless man. Why did he ask for her staff. She open her mouth to say something but anything did not  come out her mouth.

Jerry  looked at the woman in front of him. He can read her like open book. He knows he is think why he will asked of her. He waited patiently for her answer. 

" Any problem Mrs Andrew? "

The question brought her out of her stupor. She composed herself . She asked him with brave.

  "If I may ask, Why are you asking for her? did she offend you in anyway?"

Jerry chuckle at her bravery. " She did not offend me. I just prefer to serve my food." 

Mrs Andrew look at his table. She just noticed now that their is no food there except wine. It is likely he prefer her since many people love her to serve them. Ever since she joined her restaurant, they have many new customers. 

She look at the man to see if she can detect anytime from his eyes but she detect nothing.  This man can not taint his reputation right??  She sigh. " She is not around!" 

 Jerry tremble inwardly. He did not understand what she is saying. " What do you mean not around??"

" For two days now, she has not come to work. "

" And you did not call her or visit her to ask why she didn't show up?" he asked in the hope to get her address or phone number.

" That is where the problem lies Mr Jerry. She did not have phone and I don't know where she lives." Mrs Andrew answered in a low voice. She like the girl for her competence. She is also concern but there is nothing she can do.

Jerry hand shook slightly he has a feeling that something bad might have happened to her. May be that is why he has been feeling weird since morning.

" Mrs Andrew, what you did is wrong. You did not see your worker for two days and you did not bother to check on her. That is unfair to her. I have seen her working diligently for you. You should have at least check on her." He scold her without holding back.

 Mrs Andrew was slightly taken aback. This is the first time she saw him talking this much since he started coming her. Did he have any special feeling for Susan. She asked in her heard, she shook her head at the thought some one like Jerry will not stoop so low to date a waitress.

" I understand, I will look for her today. People always see her coming from down the town. I will just ask around. Thank you. " She stood up from where she sat and leave him alone.

 Jerry just nod at her without saying anything. Unknowingly to her she has given him enough lead. He stood up from his seat. He paid and went out. He sat in his car for almost ten minutes thinking. 

He did not know where to start his search. " Susan, where are you?!!!." he murmur to himself. He ran his hand thru his hair in frustration. He sigh and started the engine. He drove down town. He stop and asked almost everybody around. He describe how she looks like to them but their reply is the same. 

Jerry sat in his car. The sky is almost dark now. He checked the time it is six thirty in the evening.  He drive further a little but all what he see is trees and mountain. He did not know what to do. " Am at the end of the town now. Where should I turn to ? Susan where are you.?" he asked himself again. He did not want to give up. He pray silently to God to send some one that will help him. 

The sunset on the mountain and the sky grow darker. The blue night sky is low. The silence in the air is terrible. " I can not give up!." he said to himself again.

He sat in his car smoking and waiting.   He is on the sixth stick when he saw a man not far away from him. He came out of the forest. He drop the cigarette on the floor and step on it to put out the flame. He rushed to the man to stop him.

 "Hello!! young man.." he has not take ten steps when rain started falling. He ran very fast to meet up the man.  Thunder rumble loudly in the sky lighting split the sky in half. He catch up with the man. ." Hello sir! .."

The man stop. He look back to see a well dressed man. From his dress he can tell he is rich. He did not know why he stopped her but he still stop notwithstanding. " Are you calling me?"

"...."     ( If I am not calling?? who could it be then?)  Jerry thought.

" Yes, please I need your help. I have been looking around for someone for hours now but I don't know how to locate her....."

" Call her number ! what does that has to do with me."  The man answered with irritation. He can not believe he had to stop in the rain to answers stupid questions. He make to walk pass Jerry but the latter hold him by the hand not letting him go.

" Let go! What do you want from me you this rascal."  The man shouted at him.

Jerry grip on the man tighten.  He did not let go despite his protest. He can not this man go. He believes he is the one God sent to him.

The man continue to struggle to free himself but it futile. He succumb to him and asked him through a gritted teeth.  " what do you want from me??"

   Jerry chuckle coldly at the man. Everything around them froze . He man felt terrify of this man.  The way he chuckle send shiver down his bone. 

" Are you ready to listen to me now?" Jerry said coldly to him.  He is at the head of his patient.

" I have already asked you what do you want from me." 

" Good....I am looking for a lady. She is....." He gave full description of Susan.

The man kept quiet deep in thought. He seems to have seen someone of that description. But he can not remember where he met or see her. 

Jerry see that he is thinking, he use the opportunity to loss his trip on him. The man moved back and wince in pain. "  I remember now. I have seen her before."
