Growl....

Growl.....

Susan stomach cried out for food. She yawn with her eyes still closed. to say she is hungry is an understatement, she is famished. She has not had anything since yesterday. She slowly opened her eyes, she tried to lift up her hands to rub her eyes .

thud....her hand is bound She was startled her eyes snapped open . She find herself bound to a chair. Her hands bound to the back and her legs to the chair she was sitting on.

She look around to see where she is. she is i n an dirty place with everywhere full of dust and cobwebs. She was Muddleheaded. what could have happened is the only word that cross her mind.

She look around again to see if she will catch a glimpse of any body but everywhere is dark with the only source of light to the room coming from a tiny window. She coughed violently when a dust blow into her nose.  She gasped as aches all over her body struck like a tide.

She lean backwards as if her body was jelly. She exhale deeply. She don't know what is going on, she is hungry, thirst and needed to relief herself. No one was in sight to help her.

She felt something soft at her feet. looking around with with so much difficult, she screamed and her voice echoing withing the emptiness. She looked around again to see a very large brown rat. 

perhaps because she has moved so much the rope used to tie  her hand almost chopped off her wrist. she groan with pain. She was still looking around when she remembered she was in her room crying and all that has happened the previous day played in her mind like a movie. She cried not knowing what could have happened to her. is she kidnapped? is her mother aware? , is her husband aware?. She know he will rescue her if he has the chance. She trusted him that much. 

"Hellooo! who is here? " Susan shouted to gain attention but her voice kept echoing.

She finally gave up and kept looking around if she hear any sound.

Creak~~ 

The sound of door opening caught her attention. The sudden brightness nearly blind her. She had to squint,sat straight when a sound of footstep echo in front of her. She slowly open her eyes when she came face to face with five bulky scarring looking guys.

The men covered half of their faces with mask. one has a scar that runs through his forehead and stop right on his nose tip.  one of them she believes to be their  leader flip her forehead. She flinched with his touch almost making her body jumped out of her skin.  She has not be this terrified in her life plus she hate the touch of this disgusting man.

She could only pray to God to send helper to her. She prays to God to send her husband to rescue her. She firmly believes he loved her but just fall under temptation. 

"He will rescue me." she said to herself. 

She muster up her courage and shouted at the man who is touching her "don't touch me."

ahahaaaaaa! the man laughed hysterically. His eyes greedily drift over her body greedily. He stopped laughing and hold her chin up " fine girl, you still have attitude? "

"Don't touch me!" Susan barked and spat on his ugly looking face.

All the underling standing behind gasped in disbelieve. They could not believe someone has the nerve to spit on their boss.

Paaakkk!!!

 The sound of slap echo throughout the empty building while other laughed at her.

She did not expect that coming. Her head turn sideways, hair disheveling. Her tears stream down her face and her cheek burning like hell.. She did not need any soothsayer to tell her that her cheek is swollen now, the burning sensation she felt said of all. What did she except from a tout, his hand is so rough leaving his hand print on her face. 

" I like that." The man said chuckling

"what do you want" She asked cautiously. 

" what I want?" ..the man asked with a raised eyebrow.

"yes! if it is money, I will give you any amount. just let me go ....please" Susan pleaded .

"ahahaaa" they all started laughing.

Susan glared at them in disdain.

one of the underling spoke up " don't worry, we are not paid to collect money from you. there is no amount you can offer us that we will betray our boss."

the leader patted the underling that spoke at the shoulder to stop her from talking " it is alright , let her talk. She is a billionaire. "

Susan look at them shocked. " does that mean someone paid them to abduct me." she murmured herself. 

"who could it be? has she offend someone of late? or is it a karma for all those I have humiliated? did they want to do the same to her?"  a whole lot of questions ran through her mind with no one to provide answer. 

She looked at them before she talked again " I will double any amount the person paid. Please. "

Her eyes trailing everyone in the room to see their reaction but she detect nothing 

" name your price then. I will have it deliver to you let me go. please let me go." she said pleadingly.

They all looked at her like a clown. one of the underling outside ran inside and whisper something into the leader's ear.

"The leader laughed in delight. You will see our boss soon. So, if you like. .... "he pause deliberately . " you can negotiate with him".

The man face his subordinates and mouthed " show time." 

The underlings are puzzled but they kept their mouth shut and asked to question.

meanwhile outside the abandoned factory a man stepped out of his fancy sport car. with his well trimmed hand made suit that look perfectly on him. He looked so dashing. He entered the abandoned warehouse as if he own the place. The underlings bowed to him including their leader. Susan opened her eyes to see a slim tall man with mask covering his face.

Susan looked at the man wearily.

The man moved closer to her her lifted her chin up " I heard you want to negotiate with me. " 

"Please let me go. I don't know how I offended you, can you please set me free" She pleaded.

The man chuckled coldly at her statement " do you think....you have the effrontery to say that to me. The man was angry at what she said and signal the underling to deal with her.

" Stop! don't come closer! what are you trying to do? Susan shift uncomfortably in her seat. She was afraid they will hurt her. Her cheek still burn from the slap earlier. Don't do that ,please. my mother will give you money. if you do anything to me she will have people kill you. even my husband is so powerful he will kill you" she said breathlessly.

The man laughed so much. of believing the arrogant girl in front of hi treating him in this situation. He gave eye signal to men. They lifted her up and deep her heading a water tank at the corner. After five minute she was brought out . She coughed violently and gasping for air. She look like a mess.

"please...." "let me go, please" she whispered.

"Do you still want to negotiate with me? " the man asked with a smile hang on his lips.

" no, no, (coughing) no, please" Susan shook her head  rigorous.

"good girl" he patted her on the head. 

Susan look at him frighten, she is afraid to say any thing, the last five minute is hell for her.

"now let's talk" the man said as he gesture of the man to bring his bag.

Susan nod at him.

"If you know you want to gain your freedom...."here! he fish out a document from the case brought to him.

" You have to sign all this papers and boom you are free" he said throwing the papers on her lap.

" I don't understand. why should I sign this?" she asked him confusedly.

Susan cried out in pain. Her ear is still ringing from the earlier slap now practical she did not hear a thing in that ear.

" please! please! please! " that is the only thing that came out of her mouth.

"you want me to please? hmm? ooh! I remembered? you said your husband is powerful, right"  He guffaws.

" please, let me go." Susan pleaded with her eyes closed. 

"if you sign all the documents in front of you.....I will set you free".

" I don't know what the documents contains" She said carefully.

" Oh! really! you want to know what it contains? he asked feigning ignorance.

Susan nod her head.

"  OK, if you care to know...( he paused intentionally to hike her anxiety)

Susan looked at him intently .

" ...... it contains transfer document and divorce papers, if you sign all this you are free on earth and afterlife.

Susan gasped in disbelief. She can not belief what she is hearing. Did  Bob sent him ? ( She shook her head it cant be) or who might be her enemy that want to destroy her home and her life.  "who sent you? "

"hmmmm, good question. You want to know?" He asked her.

She nodded her head. Susan closed her eyes calming herself to receive the truth

The man turn his back on her. He removed his mask and slowly turn to face her........
