•••••Xavier's POV•••••

We reached school and parked our cars in the parking lot. 

We started to walk towards the main gate and saw everyone go silent as always.

 We walked to our lockers and started to pull out the notebooks. 

From the corner of my eyes, I noticed that Daxton was looking in the hallway like he was searching for someone instead of taking out his notebook.

 I'm sure that there's something up with him because:

 1st he never wakes up on his own and 

2nd he rarely arrives this early and 

3rd he starts flirting as soon he arrives but he today he didn't even look those girls. 

And he looks lost. Even Ethan looks disturbed from yesterday, but he's good at hiding his emotions.

 I'll have to ask him what's disturbing him after school ends. 

Firstly, I need to find Aaria I want to be friends with her. 

I've science with Mr Winter 1st and Aaria is with me in that class too, so it will be easy for me to find her. 

I want to talk to her so it'll be easy to take 1st step towards friendship. 

I hope she'll not mind. 

I bid farewell to the boys and went towards my science class. 

I entered and looked around and spotted her doing her work sitting beside the girl yesterday. 

I saw a bench next to her was vacant and walked towards her and sat beside her but she didn't even look up for once. 

Maybe she didn't notice. I looked at her notebook and saw her doing her homework. 

She looked like a child while doing her work. She talked to that girl about something and then again started studying. 

She really came to study( Chuckles). 

Suddenly I felt someone's gaze and looked up and saw her friend looking at me with wide eyes. 

I moved my head and started to look outside. Then Mr Winters came and started to teach us. 

I noticed that Aaria was looking down the whole period long, she didn't even look up for once. 

Is she sick? 

What happened to her? 

I was getting worried about her and wanted to talk to her. So I decided to talk to her when the class ends. 

I waited and the hen class finished Mr Winters called me. I went to him. He asked about my opinion on upcoming science projects.

 When I looked back I saw Aaria was not there, I hurriedly packed my things and ran outside. 

I saw her walking towards the Maths class and asked to join her but her friends reacted like she just saw a ghost.

 After that, we went to the next class. 

Benny left and now only me and Aaria were left, so I decided to talk to her. 

Xavier: Are you sick? ( nervously) 

Aaria: Huh? N....no. Why? (Awkward) 

Wow Xavier great, just great. What a great way to start a conversation (mentally rolls his life)

 Xavier: You were looking down during the whole period. That's why(rubbing his neck with his right hand nervously) 

Aaria: No, I'm fine. Yo. You were loo... Looking? ( awkwardly) 

Shit, shit, shit what should I say now. Think Xavier or else you'll be termed as a pervert now.

 (He suddenly looked towards Aaria's head and saw her bandage) 

Xavier: Wait. Stay still (looking at her head)

 Aaria: Huh? (confused)

 Xavier: What happened to your head? (pointing at her bandage) 

Aaria: No....nothing. I... I just slipped. slipped (looking at her sneakers and fixing her hairs to hide the bandage) 

Xavier goes close to her and holds her head, which causes Aaria to flinch and take a step back. 

Xavier: I won't hurt you. Just let me take a look( slowly taking a step towards her ) 

Aaria: It. It's okay..(scared) 

Xavier: It'll only take a second (He holds her head again and removes her hair and starts to inspect her injury) Are you sure that you're fine? (asks while looking at her head) 

Aaria: Ye...Yeah. W... We're getting late(feeling awkward and the heat starts to rise on her cheeks)

She moves back and hurriedly starts walking towards the classroom.

 Xavier sees her back and gets confused seeing her behave like this. 

He runs his fingers in his hair and starts walking towards the class. 

After walking a few steps, he saw Ethan and Daxton coming from the opposite direction. 

He noticed that Daxton was glaring at him and Ethan looked pissed like someone just stole his favourite candy.

When he tried to talk Ethan ignored him and left and Daxton deliberately bumped his shoulder with his.

Now, what happened to them? 

They were fine until morning,  but happened now?

Are they on their periods? (ugh)

Who pissed them now?

 Did they fight or argue? 

Ugh, they'll make me mad one day for sure( rubbing his hands on his face and sighs tiredly) 

But why are aiming at me? (long sighs)

He went towards class and entered inside the class. He scanned the class and saw Aaria but... 

He saw Ethan sitting besides Aaria and Daxton in front of her. 

And both had their eyes fixed on me. 

Wait did they moved their benches??

There was only a bench left which was on her right side. I went towards it and before I could sit down Daxton beat me to it and sat down and pointed me to sit on his previous seat. 

Now, this is weird.  What's up with them??

What did I do now??

I sat on the empty bench beside Daxton because there's no way that I'm going to sit ahead of her.

 I looked towards her and saw that she was not moving a bit and her body looked stiff and she had hair on the side of her face. Like she was trying to hide behind them. 

Soon the class started but never once she looked anywhere except her notebook.

 I looked towards her and saw Ethan moving his head back from her direction. 

Was he just staring at her again?? ( Woah that's first)

( Laughing mentally)

What's wrong with him?

 I've been noticing him since yesterday. 

"Aaria"

 I looked up and saw Mr Larson calling her name but she wasn't responding. 

Mr.Larson: Aaria Ms.Christhoper.

Ethan nudged her arms and she shrieked loudly suddenly and looked towards him and then ahead. 

Aaria: Ye... Yes sir (Scared) 

Mr.larson: Are you okay Aaria?

 You look pale and lost. (Arching his eyebrow)

 Aaria: Sor. Sorry, Sir. It won't happen again. (Nervous)

 Mr.larson: Good now I want your full attention here. 

Aaria: Yes... Yes sir. ( Nodding)
