Shock

•••••Ethan's POV•••••

This idiot friend of mine is not giving up on that useless idea of his. 

I just want to beat and fix his brain. 

Sometimes I think about how I have tolerated him for the last 19 years. 

I didn't like the way he held her hand and dragged her. 

Sometimes I want to shout or beat him for doing this. But I can't do it because I'm not sure about my feelings yet. 

I'm not sure if it's permanent or temporary. 

I don't want anyone to find out about my feelings before I sort it out myself not even my best friends. 

That's why I'm taking my time to sort it out. 

They probably think that I'm not listening to them, but what they don't know is that I always hear them. 

I just act like I'm not interested in their talks. 

Sometimes Daxton makes it hard for me to act. 

It takes every ounce of my patience to control myself. 

I don't know, but I don't like it when any of my friends get so close to her. 

I tried everything to avoid Daxton from approaching her but that idiot is so stubborn. 

The only thing that I enjoyed doing with him was waiting for her in front of the gate, but I act like that I'm not interested and always scroll my cellphone. 

I was shocked when Xavier told me about her aunt and uncle. 

From that day I started to think more about her.

 Now I can't take her image out of my head, but I feel like she's hiding something. 

Her eyes tell a story that I can't understand, but I want to know about it. 

Today when Daxton fed up with waiting, he suggested checking near her locker. 

But when we reached and what I saw made my heartache and blood boil at the same time. 

She was on the floor, crying and her things were messy. 

I saw the look of helplessness in her eyes. Which broke my heart more. 

I wasn't able to take my eyes off her. I wanted to run and hug her tightly and never let her go. 

I wanted to hide and keep her safe. I wanted to tear off that bastard who did this to her.

 I asked "Who did this to her?" but none of the students replied, which added fuel to the fire.

 She looked at us and started to crawl. 

What made her think that we'd hurt her? 

Whoever did this, I'll make their life hell.

 I was only looking at her. I didn't know when others went near her and when Daxton started to ask them about it. 

I started to walk near her and saw her eyes closing slowly, I ran towards her and held her. 

I told Xavier to go and inform the nurse to be prepared. 

Without wasting a second, he ran away. 

I gently took her in my arms and ordered Daxton to find the culprit. 

I made my way towards the medical room. 

From the moment I looked into her eyes I knew that my feelings for her were true and I don't need to give myself time to sort it out. 

The moment I saw her I knew that she's the one for me.

  I'm Falling for you Aaria. I'm falling for you daily and now I won't deny or stop myself. 

I like you

I want you and I need you.

 I'll not let anything happen to you. 

I hurriedly entered the medical room and placed Aaria on the bed.

I looked around and noticed that Xavier wasn't there. 

I called him but he wasn't picking it up. (Running fingers in his hair angrily) 

Where is he? (Kicking nearby bed hard) 

I looked towards the door and saw Benny entering with Aaria's things in her hand. 

Benny: Where is the nurse? (Coming inside) 

Ethan: I don't know. (Rubbing his forehead) 

Benny: How is she? OMG, why are her eyes closed? (Panicked and pointing her fingers towards Aaria) 

Ethan: I don't know, she fell unconscious in the corridor. (Calling Xavier again)

 Ethan: Dammi..(Cutting the call)

(Xavier comes with the Nurse) 

Nurse: Where is she? 

Ethan: Here (Pointing at Aaria) 

Nurse: You both go outside and let me check her first.

 Ethan: No, I'm....... 

Before I could speak further Xavier dragged me outside the room. 

Ethan: I want to go inside. (Angrily) 

Xavier: Calm down Ethan, let her check up on Aaria. You can go after that. (Holding Ethan's shoulders) 

(Ethan Standing beside the wall and looking in the direction of the gate) 

It's been 5 minutes, what the hell is taking her this long? 

Is she researching or what?

 " Come In" 

After hearing the Nurse's voice, we entered the room and saw Aaria lying peacefully. 

Xavier: How's she?? (Worriedly)

Nurse: Don't worry, she passed out due to shock. She'll wake up in an hour. I gave her doze.

There are no major injuries, just some scratches and cuts. She needs to rest, so don't disturb her for now. 

Thank god that she's fine. I'm not going to spare who did this to her. (Grinding his teeth) 

Ethan: Xavier, Benny stay here with her until I come back. 

I left the medical room and called Daxton.

"Ringing"

 Daxton: Found him.

 Ethan: Where are you? 

Daxton: Old library near the garden. 

Ethan: Wait there. You messed up the wrong person this time.

My doubt was right. 

You are special Aaria. You're special to us.

 I saw love and affection for you in Ethan's eyes. 

I never saw him this angry after Maria's death.

He was devastated and angry both after he lost her at that time. 

I felt pain when I saw him taking Aaria in his arms.

 I badly wanted to take her in my arms but I couldn't. 

I wanted to hold her as he did but I couldn't.

 For a moment I wanted to forget about Lisa and take Aaria in my embrace but I couldn't do it.

 I know, I know that this is wrong. This feeling is wrong, but I can't help it.

 I couldn't touch Aaria, I felt numb seeing her like that.

 I know  Ethan, I know that he is feeling something for her but I was denying it. 

But I can't deny it now, not after seeing his protectiveness for her. 

I know he went to Daxton to find the culprit.

What have you done Aaria? 

The most popular guys are wrapped around your fingers now. 

Ethan likes you, I knew about it because I have seen him looking at you when no one is noticing.

 I pray that you'll make the right decision in the future (Looking at Aaria).
