Chapter I: Welcome To Utopia

It’s evening in Utopia. A ship is arriving.

Princess Beatrice’s POV

I am Princess Beatrice of Terabithia. I am the youngest among four sisters. I am independent, brave, and loves adventures. I was shocked when my father told me to marry the king of the world in Utopia. I don't want to marry a person I don't know yet, and I'm not ready, but I have no choice but to obey my father and marry the king of the world. My sisters said that he is cruel and scary according to rumors, but I bet he is not like that. I am also nervous about meeting him. What does he look like? Is he handsome, matured, and tall? Because that's the quality that is fit for a king.

I am now at Utopia where the king lives. I'm just carrying a small suitcase.

“Can we stop here?” I said to my butler

"But princess, we need to go to the castle, it's still far from here,"

"I don't care. I want to explore the place first, besides we arrive two days early,"

"Very well princess, if you say so,"

"Ok, but you are not allowed to go with me. You can all go back home to Terabithia,"

"But princess, I don't want you to be alone, it's dangerous,"

“I can handle it myself, I'm good at martial arts by the way, so go back immediately,"

"Ok princess, just be careful on your way,"

“I’ll be careful, bye”

Narrator’s POV

Princess Beatrice roamed around the city for hours. Now she wanted a place to stay, but Princess Beatrice has nowhere else to stay because all the motels are full. She was hopeless and sat on the ground. Not to mention, her tummy grumbles. A man was passing by, and he was shocked because Princess Beatrice collapsed.

Princess Beatrice’s POV

Where am I? I remember I was sitting on the ground. Hmmm, what's that delicious smell? I am hungry.

"Oh, glad you have woken up miss," a girl said

“Who are you?”

“I am Maria, and this is my younger sister, May. My father saw you faint, so he rescued you,"

"Thank you for that. I just wanted a place to stay, but all the motels are full, and I'm tired and hungry,"

"Here's some food, eat it, miss,"

"Oh thank you so much,"

Finish eating

"What's your name, miss?"

"My name is Beatrice. I am a princess actually,"

“You are? What brings you here?”

"I want to explore your city because I arrived two days early,"

“Are you not from here?”

"No, I live at a place called Terabithia,"

"Why are you here, Princess Beatrice?"

"I am here because I am marrying your king,"

“Wow, so you are our future queen?”

"Yes, your right,"

A man entered the room.

"Your awake miss,"

“Thank you for the kind hospitality and for saving me,"

"No problem,"

"Princess Beatrice, this is our father,"

“Princess?”

"Yes, allow me to introduce myself. I am Princess Beatrice from Terabithia City, and I'm marrying your king,"

"If you're a princess, where are your butler and your people?"

“I ordered them to go back home. I want to be independent,"

"You are brave, princess,"

“Thank you. Can I stay here until tomorrow?”

“Yes, you can. Enjoy your stay here, Princess,"

"Thank you,"

"Ok, I will leave you here, good night princess,"

"Good night,"

Narrator’s POV

Morning came, and Princess Beatrice is roaming around. When she is roaming around, she saw May seating and watching the flowers.

“Good morning May, what are you doing here?”

“Good morning Princess Beatrice, I was just thinking about mother, I want to see you,"

"Where is your mother, by the way?"

"She's not here anymore. My mother died when giving birth to me,"

"I'm sorry about that,"

"It's ok,"

"You know you have a beautiful smile. You should smile often. Your mother would be happy,"

"Thank you, Princess Beatrice.  You are kind. I want you to be the queen of this place,"

"Thank you, May. I am heading to the castle today to see the king. I hope to see you soon. You know that I have a beautiful voice that can make a person's heart feel at ease, so I will sing for you to make you happy,"

Princess Beatrice starts singing.

"Wow, you have a great voice princess,"

"Thank you,"

“Princess, are you going already?” Maria asked

"Yes, thank you for everything, hope to see you soon,"

"See you soon princess,"

Princess Beatrice is heading to the castle and see the king.
