Chapter XI: False Alarm

Narrator’s POV

They arrived at Terabithia at almost night time, they head straight to the palace and to her grandpa, but they were shocked because her grandpa is not sick, but is happy to welcome them.

“Grandpa, I thought you were sick?”

"I'm not sick Beatrice, I just want to see you so badly, that's why I wrote that letter. I miss you so much,"

"You wasted our time, grandpa. You know that we had a lot to do in Utopia and you are joking. You know that we are going here but not this month. I was so down when I read the letter that you are sick, makes me worried so much,"

"I'm sorry, Beatrice. Please forgive me. The thing is, I want to meet the king,"

Suddenly Queen Beatrice's sisters showed up because they heard that Queen Beatrice and the king had arrived. They also want to see the king.

"The king is here?"

"We want to see him,"

“Yes Beatrice”

"Introduce him to us,"

"Ok sisters, let me introduce to you, my husband, King Alaric,"

"Huh? I can't believe it. We thought that you are so manly and has a terrible personality, but you are younger than Beatrice. You are cute,"

“That’s what I thought too” Queen Beatrice mumbles

"First let me introduce ourselves, my name is Belle, and I'm the eldest daughter. My name is Bella, and I'm the second daughter. My name is Bethany and the third daughter. My name is Beatrix, and the fourth daughter. Nice to meet you, your highness. Come with us for a second King Alaric" they said and dragged King Alaric

"Go after the king Beatrice. You know how your sisters are. Maybe they will do something to him after saying that he is cute, he is a king after all and not to be treated like that. By the way, go and meet your parents tomorrow ok?"

"Ok grandpa, we will take our leave,"

Grandpa’s POV

I didn't know that he is younger than Beatrice, but he is matured in his age. Does he truly love Beatrice? Get ready, King Alaric, because I will interrogate you.

Queen Beatrice’s POV

Livie and I went after Alaric. I found him being babied by my sisters. His face is funny.  It's like he is being tortured with love. Time to rescue him.

“Sisters?”

“Beatrice”"Stop doing that to him. He is a king and not to be treated like that,"

“We understand, but he is just so cute that we can’t help it”

"Go back to your rooms now,"

"Ok, good night,"

When they leave, I laughed loudly because of his face.

“What are you laughing at?”

"Nothing, it's just that, your face is so funny,"

"Stop it already,"

"Ok, ok. So how were my sisters?"

"Worse than you,"

"That's them.  They are like that,"

"I am a king, and yet they treat me like I'm a baby,"

"Because you are,"

"I am not,"

"Please bear with them,"

"I'm so tired and exhausted because of them,"

"Come, let's go now to our room and get some sleep, it's getting late already,"

I am happy today. I saw Alaric being babied by my sisters. What a sight. It's his weakness, after all. He cannot beat me when I'm doing that to him too. I miss this place.

And that ends their night. What would happen when they meet the parents of Beatrice?
