LOGINDina randomly pulled one dress out of the wardrobe and walked towards the bathroom. Later, she noticed that the bathroom was completely made out of transparent glass.
“What the hell? Don’t they need a little bit of privacy?” She complained and peeked at the giant roll on the bed once to make sure he was still in his dreamland.
She was not sure if it’s because of the drinks she had last night, she urgently needed to relieve herself. She covered her face with the dress and sat on the commode.
“Haa… finally!” She felt relaxed and leaned behind.
The automatic flusher flushed the toilet and the temperature-controlled Bidget cleaned her private area.
“Shh... Shh… don’t make a sound.” She tried to shush the automatic flusher and stood up to stop it from making any more noise.
Instead, because of the movement, the sensor triggered the flushing once more. She moved the dress that was on her head to one side and glanced towards the bed.
“Thank goodness, he did not wake up for such a loud noise. Is he dead or something? Did I kill him after finishing the deed?” She wondered.
Suddenly, a shaky feeling made her tremble. She anxiously looked at the roll with doubtful eyes as he hadn’t moved from the time she woke up. She then shook her shoulders as she did not have any concern for him.
“Whatever, even if he dies, why should I care?”
She pulled the dress away from her head and squatted on the floor. Just in case, even if he wakes up, she did not want to be visible in his line of sight immediately.
She conveniently failed to notice the blinds hanging on top of the transparent glass panel which could be pulled down to hide the insides of the bathroom. Instead, she sat on the floor to change into her new dress.
She noticed that she had to remove the torn clothes that had jumbled around her body. It turned out to be near impossible to remove her old dress.
“Just what the hell did we do yesterday? Why is it all twisting around my body like twines? It looks like I am being woven inside a spider web.” Dina complained.
She tried to pull it away and even tried to tear the remaining bits and pieces. But after so many attempts she got tired and fell on the floor.
“This is the final try, if you are not going to come out then I am going to wear the new one above you. Did you hear me?” She spoke to the dress while looking at it with disdain.
As the dress's design was slightly complicated, she had to roll on the bathroom floor several times. Still, she couldn't take it off from her body. She put her hand inside the holes that he made to enlarge it. She fought with the dress for some time but she just couldn't even rip even a small bit of those twines.
She lifted her head and shouted,
"You are an animal, do you hear me? Similar to the street dog that barks at me, whenever I walk on the road." She huffed and barked at him.
After trying for more than fifteen minutes, she could finally get rid of the torn dress. She wore the dress that she borrowed from his closet within a second and came out of the bathroom.
"Have a good sleep, for now, old man! From tomorrow, no from tonight onwards, mark my words, there will definitely be no sleep for you! I curse you! I will haunt you and your ancestors throughout my life." She warned him.
Dina pointed her two fingers at that roll and took an imaginary shot before trying to walk towards the door briskly. Suddenly, she realized the numbing pain in between her legs because of what he did to her last night.
She could only slowly limp towards the door while holding the wall for support. When she went outside she saw that she actually spent a night in a hotel room. She got even more pissed off at that, as he did not even bring her to his home instead.
'How dare he bring me to a hotel! Did he think I am that type of girl? He really has lost his will to live anymore! Tonight... tonight... tonight... yes tonight, I will make sure that it will be his last night!' She cursed him once again in her mind before walking out of the hotel.
That was not any small roadside motel but actually a seven-star hotel. Also, not anyone can stay here. They need to be a member to even enter inside. Each night of stay at least cost around hundreds of thousands.
As Adrian was one of the major shareholders, they had a room allotted to him and no one other than him was allowed to use it. He had never been here before. Because of the situation last night, this was the only place he could remember that was very near to the location from where he was yesterday.
When Adrian woke up, it was almost mid-day! The sun had already gone up the sky long ago and in a few hours, it would even turn dark.
"So, you are finally awake?" His uncle, Andrew asked with a smirk.
"Andrew, why are you here?" Adrian asked while yawning heavily.
He could not believe why he was still feeling sleepy. He felt as if he wanted to sleep for one more day.
"If I am not here, then where should I be? Who was the girl from last night?" Andrew asked.
Adrian did not answer his question and closed his eyes once again. The pain he was feeling right now in his body, it was unimaginable. He lifted the blanket and looked at his hands. There was a mark on both his arms. It looked like a flower symbol, then he looked at his chest. Even there, he saw that he had the same flower mark.
He doesn't remember getting a tattoo last night. All he did was… When he remembered the incident last night, he stood up in shock even forgetting that he was not wearing anything underneath.
"Adrian! What is the meaning of this? You are a grown man now! Behave yourself!" Andrew ordered him and was about to turn his face away.
But when he noticed the mark on his chest, he moved closer to him within a blink of an eye. By then, Adrian took the blanket that had fallen from the bed and tied it around his waist.
"You brought a sorceress into our house. How dare you! What should I tell your parents when they come back next year for your Magicks ceremony? They will be passing down the magical heirloom to you that’s around five thousand years old."
"Tell them, I am not interested!" He said relaxedly while lifting the blanket that was sliding down his legs.
"I can't believe you, did you just say that out loud?" Andrew huffed.
If he was not his sister's only son, he would have never let him stand in front of him and utter such nonsense.
"Why don't we ask Nicholas to get the heirloom, instead?" Adrian suggested.
"Why should I let my son handle all your responsibilities? He was already destined to receive one from my family when he is of age. We are archers, not magicians like your clan!" Andrew argued.
"But…" Adrian tried to express his dissent but Andrew did not allow him to speak anymore.
"No butts… Go run and get ready, we are leaving soon!" Andrew ordered him.
But he stopped him suddenly by holding his hands and said, "Hold on for a second there, let me take a clear look at that symbol on your chest once again."
Andrew put on his magnifying glass that was hanging around his neck and examined the flower symbol carefully. He looked shocked and pulled down his glasses while looking at Adrian with worry.
"Do you know what this flower is?" Andrew asked him.
"No, it’s just a normal flower tattoo and I think this might be done with temporary ink. Once I take a bath, I believe, it will go off just like how my memory of magic got erased. Don't worry too much, Andrew!" Adrian said without much wariness about the situation he was in and tried to walk towards the bathroom.
"This flower's name is Red Fuchsia. Do you know what it symbolizes? It says, 'I like your taste'. You have to be very careful from now on or else no one can stop you from going towards the destruction…"
Adrian did not let Andrew finish what he wanted to say. If he did, then he would have not made such a decision that would change his entire life in the future.
"Chill, Andrew, nothing will happen to me. And even if it happens, we cannot stop the power of fate. Can we?" He commented as if it was nothing major, even if he loses his life.
Millie looked at him in surprise.“Why did you not inform me about that earlier?” Millie complained.“I was about to tell you but we were interrupted by…” Mason said.“So were you planning to hide this from us? Your parents? She is our granddaughter too,” Kylie grumbled after hearing his response.“Mom, relax… I will tell you everything but not now,” Mason tried to calm her.“Where is she? Did someone kidnap her or…? What happened? When is she coming home?” Abel, who had walked near them, continuously questioned Mason.“As I said before I will tell you everything later. But for now, our Tina is well and good. She will come back in two days.” Mason informed them while looking at Millie meaningfully. Then Millie understood who he was talking about. Her heart screamed, ‘No no no no no no no no no…’. This is not correct. W
"No, no... I just want to know where my daughter is. Please don't do anything to them," Mason quickly added.“What happened? What did he say?” Millie asked him while holding her thumping chest.“Yes, mom! She was alive when she left the hospital.” Mason replied."What should I do now mom? What should I do? I am excited to meet her," He almost started to jump up and down.As promised, Robert found Dina’s address and messaged him in a couple of hours.“Mom, I must leave now. I will go and bring her back home.” Mason announced and almost ran outside to his car.“Mason, wait! No! I will go. But not now. We have to find Tina first. Anyway, if any of us leave right now, then Grace may start to doubt us. We still haven’t told her about Tina being missing.” Millie reminded him.“But mom…” He hesitated. It took them already long enough to know that his
“Madam, you are awake! Should I wake up the chef and ask him to prepare dinner for you?” The butler asked.“No, I am fine. Where is Mason?” Grace asked him.“Sir left a few hours ago and hasn’t returned yet.” He reported to her.“Ok.” She leaned against the sofa and switched on the TV.Noticing the Butler was still standing next to the side table, without even glancing at him, she ordered,“You can go back now. I will wait here until Mason returns home. Anyway, I had enough sleep already and I am not sleepy anymore.”Butler hesitated for a second and then said, “Ok, Madam. In case, if you need anything, please give me a call. I will come back right away.”Grace didn’t respond to him. The butler waited for a few minutes before turning around to leave. He didn’t know if she knew about Tina being missing. Looking at her calm demeanor, he understood
When Mason reached home, he saw Millie still waiting on the porch. He raced to her with a joy-filled face. Millie was confused as she could not understand why Mason became happy all of a sudden.‘Did he find my granddaughter?’ Millie wondered and looked behind him.But there was no Tina insight. She walked down the stairs hurriedly and searched around.“Mom, Mom… My baby girl is alive. She is fine. She is alive.” He shouted in excitement.Millie rushed near him and asked, “Where is she? What happened? Why did she not come with you?”Still searching for Tina, she ran near the mansion’s gate. Mason stopped her and said, “I don’t know where she is right now. But we can find out soon! All we need to do is hire a private investigator and they will trace her current location.”“What do you mean by that? Did you not find her yet or... what are you even saying? Where is T
"Did someone tamper with the video footage?" Millie asked him."No, Mom! They checked it and everything seems fine." Mason replied while still trying to message the search team members.“Mom, I will go search for her once again. I am unable to sit here and wait for her return,” Mason said after a few seconds of internal struggle and put his phone inside his pocket. He can’t sit at home and worry about Tina until she comes back. He wanted to join the search for her. He can't rest until he finds her. So, he rushed outside the house without waiting for Millie’s response.“Where are you, Tina? Please come back safely to us. If not for us, think about your mother. She would break off,” Millie sighed and looked in the direction of where Grace is.Mason walked on the same path Tina took several hours ago. He remembered when he brought Tina to the beach for the first time. She was excited about her legs sinking into the
Once Otis got Grace’s full permission, he lifted the magical knife and drew a straight line on her right-hand thumb. The metallic red blood dripped all over the frame while the letters written on the board absorbed it instantly. It shined for a second before the blood marks disappeared completely from the frame.Grace closed her eyes as the pain was not as mild as she expected. She actually felt like she was undergoing surgery without anesthesia. She didn’t know that a small cut could give her such intense pain.“Do not worry, mother-in-law. The pain will be gone in a minute.” Adrian said with a triumph smile.‘Your days are outnumbered, my dear bride. You are coming for me and I am waiting here with your mother’s support,’ His smile widened and his eyes sparkled. When Grace opened her eyes and realized she had disclosed her weakness in front of him, she felt humiliated. Still, as he said, the pain did disappear w
