Chapter 15: Missing Her

Narrator’s POV

In Prince Ace’s dream:

Flashbacks of him and Annalise when they are in a fake relationship. Holding hands, sharing an umbrella, soaking wet in the rain, Annalise taking care of him when he is sick, treats Annalise to a café, studying together, and Annalise avoiding her.

His dream took a turn. Prince Ace is walking down the hallway when he saw Annalise with a guy. The guy's face is blurry, so he doesn't know who it is. Annalise and the guy passed by him and is happily talking like they are a couple.

Suddenly, the alarm rang, and Prince Ace woke up.

Prince Ace’s POV

I woke up because of the alarm. It was a dream.

I dreamed about Anna. In my dream, it’s a flashback of Anna and me when we are still in a fake relationship. Why am I dreaming about it? What suddens me is in my next dream, Anna is with a guy, and they are happy being with each other's company. It's like they are a real couple. I don't know who the guy is because his face is blurry.

Enough with that, I got up and get ready to go to university.

After getting ready, I went to university. When I arrive, lots of girls are at the gate. Here we go again, back to zero. After getting through them, I went to my locker, and I saw Anna opening her locker. Anna's locker is just near my locker.

"Good morning, Anna,"

"Good morning,"

I'm glad that she said good morning, even though she is not looking at me. After saying her greeting, she left. When I open my locker, there are lots of love letters inside. I disposed of them all. After that, I get my things and went to my classroom.

Fast forward and class are over. I went to the library to study for a bit. When I arrive, I took a seat near the window. I studied for 30 minutes. When I'm done studying, I look beside me, and I saw Anna seated not so far from me. I looked at her, and she is focused on studying. I remember those times when we go here and study together. After a few minutes, Anna stood up and left the library. I stayed at the library for a while, then left.

When I arrive at my condo unit, I'm starving, so I ate dinner. When I was eating, I remembered Anna cooking me porridge when I got sick. Her porridge is delicious.

This day, I always think of Anna. Why? I kind of miss her presence.

Annalise’s POV

When I arrive at the university, lots of girls are waiting for Ace. It’s so obvious. I went inside and head to my locker. When I was opening my locker, someone greeted me and that someone is Ace. I also greet back. I grab the things that I need inside my locker and left.

Ace greeted me, and I was shocked because he said good morning to me. My heart skips a bit.

It's already the end of class, and I'm planning to go to the library.

“Are you going home, Anna?”

"Nope. I will go to the library and study there for a bit,"

"Ok. I will go home now. See you soon,"

“Ok. Take care”

"I will,"

Selena left the classroom, and I went to the library.

When I arrive at the library, I study and do my homework. As I was doing my homework, I feel like someone is looking at me. I just don't mind it because I'm focused on studying and doing my homework.

After doing my homework, I left the library and went back to my apartment room.
