Draco-

I sat in my office going over paperwork when in come my guards. 

“Your majesty, we found the girl but she was able to get away with help from her accomplice. Alpha Prince Josiah used an article of clothing to distract us and lead us astray.” 

I glared angrily “bring him to me!!!”

Josiah entered the room with a rather smug smile. “Hello father”

“Do you realize what you’ve done!?” “We almost had her and you’ve lead her right to him! Would you really let her go to that animal!? Lucifer has brought reign of terror and death to our kind from the beginning! Do not forget what he did to your mother!!” I slammed my first on the desk. 

“How dare you speak of my mother. She left because you took more joy from your concubines then you did our family!” Josiah was beginning to show his canines.

“She was raped and beaten to death by a band of his demons. He took her from us, just like he’ll take Rosemary, your mate. I know you hold me responsible and I’m aware you don’t like the way I run things in this kingdom, but I do this for our people. I do this for your future kingdom. The sooner you accept the way things are run around here the better.” 

Josiah turned and slammed the door behind him. He swore to himself he’d never rule like his father. He lied as much as he breathed. He wondered if he would ever see his beloved Rosemary again.
