Charlotte's POV.

      Busy. That was  one word i would use to describe today. The whole palace was busy. All the maids were up and doing,  everyone was busy. I was busy. The Queen said i should supervise. Like hell,  I'm not an event planner!! But she was  like duh duh duh,  princess duh duh,  how will you fulfill your duty,  bla bla bla,  i don't care. I sat on my bad tiredly. My mom just came minutes later,  telling me i have  to get ready and  maids were in my room waiting for me to stand up so that they can help me dress up. What am i? Five?

"Ma'am,  please stand up so you can be ready!!" The eldest said. I sat up.

"You're right." I said. I had shower and i started dressing up. The dress fitted me perfectly, it was tight at the top but when it got to the navel,  it flowed and i rolled,  i felt like a princess,  my hair was  pulled,  straightened, curled,  packed and i must say i looked like an angel. I was pretty,  i knew that but there was  this aura in me. I wore my gloves and heels. My make up was fixed and i opened my eyes. Breathtaking,  oh I'm gonna break hearts.

"You look beautiful ma'am!!" They said.

"Thanks!!" I said. I put on my earrings and silver necklace. I was ready!! I stood in front of the gigantic mirror and rolled. Oh this is the life. I took pictures. Hell yeah!! And i took my selfie stick and took thousand of pictures. I heard the sound of instruments,  uhmm,  piano and violin. Nice song. When i was twelve, i went to this music school cause  i need to know a lot of things. I didn't have  the best voice ever but give me a guitar or violin and i will melt your heart. A knock distracted me from my thoughts.

"Come in!!" I said. The door opened and i saw my mother wearing an emerald dress and  she  looked beautiful.

"The prince is waiting!!!" She said and  looked at me.

"Look at you.....,  so gorgeous!!" She said and i nod.

"Thanks thanks, you got me here anyway!!" I said rolling my eyes.

"Now walk like a lady!!" She said. I raised my eyebrows.

"Lacey,  I'm a  model if you have  forgotten!!" I told her and she shrug.

"Urgh!! Fine!!" I said. I raised my dress so i can walk freely. And i walked to her.

"Beautiful!!" She said. I sighed in disappointment. She can be really annoying.

"Thanks everyone!!" I told the maids.

"You're welcome ma'am!!" They said. I held my dress. My mom and i walked away.

"Where is the prince?" I asked her. She smiled and  tugged my hand.

"Over there!!" She said. I looked up and saw him checking his watch. He looked sooooo hot in his tuxedo. His hair was gelled perfectly and he looked so handsome,  i wanted to fall cause  my legs were  getting weak. I smiled at my Mom and looked at her. I held her hands.

"Lacey, i will not say this again,  but.....,  no thanks for ruining my lifetime plans. But thanks for giving me a hot prince!!" I told her.

"Oh honey...., i have eyes  for good things!! I mean,  take a look at that man down there!!" She said. I turned to see my Dad talking to another man. My dad looked good in his tux too. And he also looked up at us and smiled at me. I looked at my mom,  her eyes showed two things. Love. Hurt. My dad wasn't the perfect dad,  or husband. At all. But i could feel the love between the two of them. Its choking. But i do hope that things will change  for the better!!

"Mrs. Gallagher...., Charlotte....." I heard a very cute voice. I looked up and i didn't know. He looked really handsome. Gosh the copulation between the king and Queen was  great!! Gosh Charlotte,  are you sexually frustrated? I looked down. I've never been shy around a guy before. What is wrong with me? I'm Charlotte Fayanna,  okay i hate my middle name Gallagher!! I rose my head up. I'm confident!! I'm fearless.....,  I'm swoon. Okay,  get a grip on yourself.

"You look......, gorgeous!!" He said checking me out.

"I'll leave the two of you!!" She said smiling and left.

"I know. You don't look bad!!" I said and he wanted to ruffle his hair but he  stopped.

"Thanks....., uhmm,  they are about to ......"

"...... Present to you,  Prince Xavier,  and his faincee...."

"Well....." He said bringing his hand out. I smiled.

"I thought people put their hands in your armpit!!" I asked.

"Can i answer that later? We're wasting time!!" He said.

"It was a  yes or no question duhh!!" I said and put my hand on his and he led me to the stairs and i put on my beautiful fake smile. He was also putting his on. Psychology is one good trait i inherited from my maternal grandma and i know fake smiles or not. Just like Courtney, oh that girl gives fake smiles a lot. I'm happy i learnt that from my grandma . That woman knows everything!!  its infuriating.

"Don't trip!!" He said through clenched teeth.

"If you say anything that insults my career,  I'm gonna ruffle your hair in front of everybody!!" I said too in a clenched teeth. People started clapping. I smiled.

"Which is?" He asked. I stepped on his foot and he removed his hand from my hand and held his leg and i laughed. He  gave me a dirt glare and i stopped laughing. I turned to the people. They were confused and worried.

"No problem. The prince is fine!!" I said and they murmured. Whatever. I moved close to him and he moved back.

"Oh Xavier,  lets go. You don't wanna make a fool out of yourself!!" I said. He scoff.

"If you don't hold my hands and we  walk down that damn stairs. I'm gonna do something worse!!" I said. He quickly put his hands round my shoulder and gave  me a  fake smile before we walked down the stairs.

"That's my good boy!!" I said. He gave  me a what-the-hell-are-you face. And i smiled.

"Your fiancee!!" I winked and he gave me a look of horror and i laughed as we continued walking.

We walked our way down and the king and queen came to me. I held my dress and bent a little.

"You look beautiful my dear!!" The king said and gave me a surprising hug.

"What happened to your leg?" The queen asked. I gave  him a  dirty look.

"Right? What happened to your leg?" I asked him. He looked at his mom.

"Nothing....,  maybe a cramp or something!!" He said. I smiled and held his hand.

"I'm sure its nothing bad,  it would heal pretty fast. Right?" I asked pinching his hand.

"Ow... Yeah!! Yeah!!" He replied and  the king put his hand around the queen shoulders.

"That's great!!" The king said.

For the rest of the night, people came,  congratulated me,  shake my hands,   others hugged me. Complimented. I was thirsty and i saw Xavier with his friend Derek and two other guys. I went to them and grabbed Xavier's drink. He gave me a disbelieved  look.

"What? I gotta drink!!" I said.

"Charlotte. How are you?" He asked and shamefully checked me out which Xavier hit his head playfully for.

"I'm good." I said. I drank the wine in a gulp and they all looked at me. I dropped the wine still remaining a  little. What? It was in a quarter after that!!

"Uhmm,  Charlotte. That's a  strong wine!!" Xavier said.

"So.....? And who are you handsome men?" I asked. It came out as being flirty but who cares?

"Uhmm,  Charlotte. This is Andrew and Matthew!!" He said. Andrew had a black hair and Matthew was cute with his blue hair.

"Nice hair!!" I said to Matthew giving him my hand to shake,  he smirked and kissed the back of my hand.

"Nice to meet you gorgeous!!" He said.

"You mean breathtaking!!" Andrew said shaking my hand.

"Awwn. Thanks a lot Drew!!" I said and he nod.

"Uhmm,  i think that's enough for now!! Why not do something else?" Xavier asked taking my hand from Andrew and he looked furious.

"Like what? Talking to people i don't know?" I asked.

"What about.....,  Marya!!" He said looking up. I turned to see the 'Marya' girl. She was  greeting the Queen and smiling. Wearing a green dress and  black heels. How can someone have  that flat of an ass. I mean...., sorry to be rude. I'm not the sexiest or prettiest. Never!! But i know i have something. My mom once told me not only having a vagina makes you a woman and that's true!! I sighed and looked at him. He looked so focused on her and he looked at her like he wanted her on his bed tonight. Great!! So great!! I grabbed  the wine.

"Well,  i can't talk to a woman you lust over Xavier!!" I said and removed my hand from his. And i began to want to give him a second chance. That's so shameless.

"Char...."

"Charlotte!! Its Charlotte!!" I said and walked away from him. Asshole!!

Xavier's POV.

     Gorgeous. She was  just too gorgeous. At the same time hot and attractive, the guys had been talking about her and i was really angry but i just sipped my wine.

"Why aren't you with your 'fiancee'?" Andrew said,  the fiancee in air quotes. The three are the only one that knows about my love for Marya and hatred for the marriage.

"Apart from being so feisty,  she's just.....,  too dangerous!!" I said. I sipped my wine in frustration. She was  hugging a  woman. Urgh. That isn't her. Being mean and.....,  hurting someone's leg was her!!

"Uhmm....,  feisty. I like that!!" Andrew said and i gave  him a dirt glare that he almost choked on his wine.

"Hey chill. I mean, you don't like her so...."

"At least you'll be decent enough not to talk about her like that when I'm around!!" I said. My parents taught me never to talk about a  woman like that. It makes me feel like  a pervert. And my friends are a F student when it comes to morals. As a  prince,  i needed that. So sometimes,  i consider that and  not say anything when they behave indecently. But this was out of the line. Like her  or not!! She's still my fiancee.

"Chill. Hey,  she's coming over!!" Derek said and she walked towards us. God,  her walking steps!! She took the wine from the table and drank it. What the..... Butt!! I looked at her and she said.

"What? I gotta drink!!"

"Charlotte. How are you?" Derek asked and checked her out,  God Derek!! I hit his head and he gave me a pleading look.

"I'm good." She said smiling. She drank the wine in a gulp and i  looked at her. Is she an alcoholic or something? She dropped the wine and i checked it.

"Uhmm,  Charlotte. That's a  strong wine!!" I said and dropped the wine.

"So.....? And who are you handsome men?" She flirted. And I'm totally out of place. Flirty boys and a flirty fiancee which i just defended minutes ago.

"Uhmm,  Charlotte. This is Andrew and Matthew!!" I reluctantly introduced.

"Nice hair!!" She said to Matthew giving him a hand but he smirked and kissed the back of her hand. I sipped my wine. And Derek gave  me an amused face. I gave  him a  'what?' Look and he shook his head.

"Nice to meet you gorgeous!!" He said to her.

"You mean breathtaking!!" Andrew said,  took her and from Matthew and  shooked hers.

"Awwn. Thanks a lot Drew!!" She said and he nod. Okay,  that's enough.

"Uhmm,  i think that's enough for now!! Why not do something else?" I asked and removed her hand from Andrews. Flirt.

"Like what? Talking to people i don't know?" She asked annoyed.

"What about.....,  " i looked up.

"Marya!!" I said breathlessly. She looked good in her green dress that had cute sleeves,  and the dress was tight to the waist before flowing and reached a little bit above her knee. She was beautiful!!

"Well,  i can't talk to a woman you lust over Xavier!!" I heard Charlotte say and removed her hand from mine. Gosh!! I forgot she was  here.

"Char...."

"Charlotte!! Its Charlotte!!" She said and held her dress before walking out. And i felt really bad. The guys whistled and i looked at them.

"Mahhnnn!!" Andrew said.

"That was......, expected!!" Derek said and sipped his wine.

"I didn't mean to hurt her  feelings!!" I said.

"Well,  why are you here? Go after her dude!!" Derek said smiling. How can he be smiling when I'm in a dilemma?

"Gosh,  you're so naive!!"  Matthew said. I rolled my eyes. Derek was well,  a mixture of good and bad. He is a  player but he gave good advices which made me wonder how he does it!! And Andrew is a flirt and  player,  Life of a party guy and Matthew,  well,  is quiet. He has bad intentions but always kept it in and is really bad  to the core but he had a gentle trait and also good at relationships. And he can flirty when he wants to. And i am the .....,  i don't know naive or clueless. I've never really been in a relationship though i had few crushes and stuff.

"Well,  what are you waiting for? Go!!" Derek said. I nod and  turned and startled Marya.

"Oops. Sorry!!" She said and giggled. God,  her giggles.

"Yeah....,  i didn't mean to startle you!!" I said.

"Its okay!! Hey boys!!" She said and they all said hey. I wanted to go but i felt a shock and that always happened when Marya touched  me. Gosh,  I'm such a girl.

"Where are you going? You promised to give me those novels right?" She asked. I nod.

"Yes....,  i....."

"He needs to do some business. So,  why don't we dance first?" Derek asked putting his hands round her shoulders.

"But....."

"Yeah...,  uhmm,  Xavier!!" Matthew said leading me away from the love  of my life.

"Now where  can she be?" I asked him.

"Uhmm.....,  i don't think that is a problem!!" He said pointing. I looked up and i saw Charlotte laughing and my mom smiled. I knew that smile.

"Now,  My dear daughter-in-law will play us a song! Come on dear!!" She said. God,  she wants to make a fool out of Charlotte. I walked through the crowd.

"Prince Xavier...."

"Your highness...."

I just turned,  smiled and walked through. I got to the stage and held my moms hand.

"Mom!!" I said giving her a i-know-what-you-are-doing look,  which she read.

"What? She said she wanted to play a song so i allowed her!!" She said. She almost stumbled.

"She's drunk!!" I told her.

"That makes the fun better!!" She said and i rolled my eyes..

"I never wanted that girl for you anyway. If your father haven't been to persistent on getting you a wife before he....."

"But embarrassing her is not ideal mom. That's cruel!!" I said.

"Oh look,  its starting!!" She said and  walked away. Urgh!!

"Hope you like it!!" Charlotte said. God!! Then the sweet melodic sound of the violin made me smile. I looked up as she played with so much passion. I smiled and it was there,  it was  there  i started liking her!!

Charlotte POV.

       Headache. I opened my eyes and sat up. Ouch,  my eyes widened. What happened? I'm in my pyjamas!! My head  hurts. What did i do? Gosh,  I'm sure i made a fool out of myself!! Gosh. I searched the bed. My phone!! Wheres my phone? Well,  maybe it is with my Mom. I went to the bathroom and had a  bathe first. I brushed my teeth and went out. I wore denim jeans and a red tank top. I wore combat boots and packed my hair into a  bun. Leaving a strand at the edge of my head. I put on a lip gloss and some mascara and a touch of powder. I smiled and went out after taking a  jacket. I walked down and saw the prince sitting on the couch. Uhmm.....,

"Good morning!!" He said. I sighed and wanted to ignore him when i noticed everywhere was cleared. And I'm so hungry.

"Charlotte...."

"What?" I asked him. He stood up and came to me.

"I'm sorry about last night!!" He said. Last night? What i remembered was  that i was walking with a bottle of wine and stumbled on the Queen and everything went a little bit blurry. Why was with a  bottle of wine anyway!! Oh my,  don't tell me i embarrassed my self. The only thing i know is that i was mad at Xavier. Yeah,  i remembered leaving when.....,  oh i remember. He was eating Marya with his eyes.

"Whatever,  i don't actually care. What do you want?" I asked him.

"I....., remember  i promised to give you a  tour!!" He said.

"A tour? Oh,  yeah. I'm hungry!" I said and  turned.

"Where are  you going to exactly?" He asked.

"Away from you!!" I replied.

"Why?" He asked. God,  he's clueless..

"Cause I'm effing mad at you!!" I said.

"But i thought we're over that?" He asked. Gosh,  that accent.

"Shit Xavier,  just because  i said i don't care doesn't mean we're okay!!" I said and he sighed.

"So what can i do for us to be okay?" He asked.

"I don't know!! But i want to be alone!!" I said and turned.

"So where exactly are you going?" He asked.

"Uhmm,  town!!" I replied. We aren't even married and he's bothered about where i go and do.

"You can't go to Town!!" He said. I scoffed.

"So now i can't do whatever  i want to do? What am i? A prisoner?" I asked him. He smile and put his hands together at the back.

"Well,  maybe if you wanted to be free, you would act like a true lady in a ball!!" He said and my face fell.

"Shit!! What did i do?" I asked him and he gave me an amused grin.

"Uhmm,  maybe if you let me give you a  tour....., we can talk about it!!" He said. I groaned.

"Fine. Use  me!! Use  me!!" I said,  i held both of his hands and clapped them. Then maids rushed in.

"Can you prepare me a break fast of sandwich,  nutella and juice!!" I said and they nod.

"Wait!!" Xavier said and they froze and turned.

"What about the tour?" He asked and i shooked my head and said.

"I can do both!!"
