LOGINAt 2:48:45 in the afternoon at 7 pounds 16 ounces and 21 inches, Destiny was perfect. Killian held the tiny green-eyed child and smiled at the barley visible red hair on her head. Crystal was resting after being in labor for six hours so he had this time alone with her. He held her in his arms and was so scared of hurting her. She was so small and frail and she curled up against his chest as he held her. He knew he would do any and everything to keep her safe. This tiny child was now his world. She had his coloring but she looked like her mother. Both of his ladies were fast asleep and he knew life was perfect. His whole world was in one room and his heart filled with pride and joy. He was momentarily distracted from his thoughts as his daughter stirred in his arms. He smiled down at her as she opened her eyes and stared wide-eyed up at him.
Crystal woke up and from where she laid, she could see Killian and their daughter. He was staring down at her with such love in his eyes that it made her smile. He glanced up and noticed her smile which made him smile more. He stood up and walked over and placed the tiny child in her mother's arms. She cradled the child against her chest and exposed one of her breasts. Killian looked on with adoration as he watched the love of his life nurture their daughter. He sat on the chair next to the bed and watched them. When Destiny was done, she slept in her mother's arms and her mother too dozed off. Killian just sat and watched over them while they rested.
Dr. Browning came in and saw Killian gazing over them as they slept. She came up next to him and touched his shoulder.
"Alpha, while they rest, why don't you go get something to eat. They'll be alright."
"I don't want to leave them."
"If the Luna finds out you haven't eaten, you know she'll be mad. I'll let her know where you have gone. They'll be just fine, Alpha."
Just then, Kellie and Sam walked in. Killian smiled and asked Kellie if she would stay with Crystal and Destiny. Sam walked with Killian to get some food. Killian knew how mad Crystal would be if she knew he wasn't eating.
Crystal woke up and found Kellie next to her holding Destiny. She smiled at her friend as she watched them.
"Please tell me Killian went to go eat."
"Yes, and Same went with him."
"Good. So, do you like your goddaughter?"
"What?"
"I want you to be Destiny's godmother."
"I'd be honored."
Kellie looked down at the child and
.watched her lovingly. Crystal sat up and tried to get up, but Dr. Browning caught her.
"Not yet, Luna. You're still not ready for that. Miss Destiny needs to go for her tests if you don't mind, Luna."
"Of course. When can I get out of this bed?"
"Let me run her tests and wait for the alpha to return."
Crystal nodded her head and watched Dr. Browning take Destiny. She just hoped they were done and back by the time Killian got back.
Two hours later, Killian walked back and saw Kellie with Destiny. Crystal was once again asleep. He wondered if it was normal for her to be so exhausted. He went sat on the bed next to her while Sam met Destiny. He held her hand and she stirred at his touch.
"Did you get something to eat?"
"Yes, and I brought you something as well."
"Oh good. I'm starving."
He chuckled at her response and pulled out the take out container. Inside there were two roast beef and cheddar melt sandwiches with a large curly fry and six raspberry cheesecake cookies. She smiled at him as she loved that he knew exactly what she was craving. Dr. Browning came in and saw her eating and laughed.
"I was just about to ask if you were feeling hungry."
"Killian brought up my favorite."
"How good of you, Alpha. Now that the alpha is back, would you like to try and get up?"
"Yes."
Killian listened to the doctor's instructions and helped Crystal to her feet. She wobbled for a minute, but with Killian by her side, she never fell. Soon, she walking on her own with Killian not far behind her.
Three days later, Crystal was getting up and walking around and Dr. Browning said they could take Destiny home. A nursey was set up across from Killian and Crystal. The room was decorated in pink clouds and tiny moons. Crystal sat in the small rocking chair holding Destiny in her arms. She played with the tiny strands of hair on top of her head and cooing over her. Killian walked in and she could see the love in his eyes as he looked at them both. To him, the two were perfect and they were all his.
As the weeks went by, Killian hardly left the house. He wanted to be near his girls and make sure they were safe. On the few times Crystal had left the house with Destiny, he was right by their side. He knew he had work that needed to be done, but he couldn't stand the thought of leaving them. Jake told him he would watch over them and they would not leave his sight. Crystal heard them argue one day in his office.
"Killian, please. Work is starting to pile up. Other alpha's are requesting you and there is border security that needs your attention."
"Jake, it's alpha. And when you have a family of your own, you'll understand. Maybe not because of Brandy's gift. I don't expect you to understand."
Before Jake could get out another word, Crystal interrupted them.
"Jake, give us a minute."
"Yes, Luna."
Jake nodded his head and walked out, shutting the door behind him. Killian just stared at her as she sat down.
"What was that about?"
"Nothing. Jake just forgot his place."
"He's your best friend and beta. He knows his place, babe. What's going on?"
"I can't leave you and Destiny."
"You can. Babe, she was born almost two months ago and you haven't been back to work. You are an alpha and you have responsibilities to attend to as alpha. Border security and other meetings with alphas aren't something you can put on hold."
"You want me to leave you?"
"Of course I want you here with me, but you have a job to do, too. You a pack to run."
"I know. I just can't..."
"What if Destin and I came to work with you for a few days."
"You would do that?"
"Yes, of course, I would."
"I can do that."
"Tomorrow, you will return to work."
"Yes, my Luna."
She smiled at him and hugged him. She stood up and headed for the kitchens. Killian curiously followed her and asked her why.
"So, how come you did wander down this way?"
"I started pumping and had one of the omegas heat up a bottle for me. Needed to stretch my legs, so I told her I would come down and get myself."
"Oh. Who heated it up?"
"Killian, it's okay. You don't have to personally inspect everything and everyone that comes into contact with Destiny."
"I'm sorry. I get worried."
"I know and it's okay to be."
"Just not too much."
"You are her father. You will always be like this."
"You think so?"
"Oh yeah and then why she starts dating or finds her mate."
"Lord help me."
Crystal laughed as they walked into the kitchen. The bottle was almost finished and the girl turned around.
"Almost ready, Luna."
"Thank you, Monica."
The girl smiled back at her. Monica had been here for some time but she couldn't really do any busy work. She was always too timid. Crystal took her aside one day and got to know her. She was abandoned as a baby and raised by the church. When she was old enough, she was selected to work as an omega in the packhouse. She abused by another in the pack and became too timid to be around people. She was on the verge of being cast out before Crystal found her. Crystal asked her if he would like to help only her and when she brought Destiny home, she knew she would need help. Monica was beyond overjoyed and honored that the Luna would want her. Crystal told her she knew how it felt and wanted to help her. Killian honestly couldn't place her. He never even saw her. Crystal thanked her and she and Killian walked upstairs. Destiny saw Killian and reached for him in her own way. He lifted his daughter into his arms and at down and Crystal handed him her bottle. Crystal knew this man was meant for her and she was happy with her life.
Destiny felt hopeful about her future after the meeting with Black Heart went so well. She sat in her room on the window seat and looking down into the garden. She saw her mom run out; laughing as she turned around and saw Killian. He was smiling and laughing and nodding his head as he walked up to Crystal. He grabbed her hand she had outstretched to keep him back and he pulled her to him. He wrapped his arms around her and Destiny started to laugh as he started to dance with her. There was no music or anything, they were in their own world. She saw her mother look up at her father with such love in her eyes as they stood there swaying back and forth. Killian pecked kisses all over her face and it made Crystal laugh as they kissed each other passionately and went to sit somewhere in the garden to enjoy each other's company. Destiny realized then that that was what she wanted with Tim. Her parents were the true definition of mates. They were completely different, yet they were perfec
Six months went by faster than Destiny ever remembered as she and Tim talked non-stop since they found out. They sneaked into the tunnels to see each other but even as impulsive as they both were, they were always mindful of Killian's rule. Timothy had no choice, Killian was Alpha King, but Killian was Destiny's father and she chose to follow his rule. She figured if she broke his one request and something so life-changing, what kind of Luna would that make her. She focused more on what her mother said and did and followed her to every meeting. On small things, Crystal even let her make the decision and put an input in.Today was different. Today there was a meeting of the packs. All Alphas and Lunas would be present and those old enough to attend the meetings that would be alpha or luna next. She knew Alex would go but when Crystal told Destiny she would also go, she was shocked."Mom, this a major meeting.""One that involves you. You will be there."
A few years had gone by since Crystal's breakdown. She had been worried for nothing as the lunas absolutely loved her guidance. Crystal was now standing on her balcony and watching her children play. Destiny was six months away from finding out what her wolf was, and Alex was still a few years from it. Alex had grown more mature since learning and understanding that one day he would take over as Alpha King. His mate would take her place. Destiny just hoped to find her mate, she didn't really care if he was an alpha or not. Destiny was the oldest out of the children her friends had, and she would be the first to turn. Crystal and Kellie kept talking about how close Destiny and Timothy had gotten. They were sure they were mates.Alex was stopped by Killian as he walked out, and Crystal watched him as him as they talked. Alex told Destiny bye and followed Killian inside. Alex had been doing his Alpha training a
************Sorry it took so long for his chapter guys. Needed some inspiration.***********In the weeks that followed their crowning, they had a new sense of responsibility and new energy that flowed through them us they were connected to all the wolves. With this new energy, they couldn't keep their hands off of each other and Killian said it was worse than when they first mated while she was in heat. Every chance they got they were all over one another. It didn't even matter where they were. He'd lock his office and shed lock her. If they were in their bedroom, it was game on for them. Their wolves even did it if they were in their form. It was like they couldn't get enough of each other and they couldn't stop. The day it simmered down, she doesn't remember them ever having sex as much as they did. She followed his scent to their room and saw him standing there. He looked like a sculpted god standing there on the balco
Crystal woke up on the morning of the first day of the ball. All her family was still asleep and the rest of the pack was too. She walked outside and took a breath of fresh air. Kellie came over and sat with her on the bench."Good morning, Luna.""Good morning, Luna.""Ready for tonight?""I am but it's a question if the guys are. Killian hates dressing up. I let him get away with wearing his cowboy boots instead of dress shoes. He says if he's going to dress like a monkey, he wants one part of him to be him.""Makes sense. Samuel loves dressing in the suit and tie.""I know that doesn't bother you.""Not at all."Just then, Destiny came walking out and sat next to Crystal."Good morning, darling.""Morning, momma.""Sleep okay?""Yeah."The three of them sat and enjoyed the crisp mountain air as they waited for the men to rise. After about an hour, Crystal walked back inside while Kel
Since the treaty of the packs was signed, it was agreed that once a year, the packs would come together for one grand ball to honor the treaty. There was an old castle up in the mountains that was dedicated for the event. The old couple who lived there were more than willing and happy to host such an event. They were honored their home was chosen and thought it ridiculous that omegas were given to them to help them maintain the castle. The omegas were happy to help and loved living with them. The packs were so numerous and even kids were allowed to attend. Houses were built around the property to accommodate everyone. Each pack had their part of the property to settle on if anyone brought a tent for camping while they were there.Crystal stood and watched everyone pack in the house. Everyone was coming except for the omegas. These next two weeks would be a vacation for them. They enjoyed the time off and thanked the Luna. Crystal walked through the town and saw everyone prepa
