LOGINKillian sat in the nursery watching Alex sleep. He knew it was only a matter of time before Andrew tried something and he'd have to fight to keep his family. He swore no harm would come to them as long as he drew breath. As he sat there, Crystal came in to feed Alex. When she saw him, she grew concerned for him.
"My love? You okay?"
"Just thinking."
"Andrew?"
"Yes."
"My love, I thought we weren't going to worry about it until later. We agreed that we spend this time together. All of our plans are nearly finished."
"I know, but I can't help it."
"Honey, come with me."
"What about Alex?"
"We are taking him with us."
Monica came and gave Destiny to Crystal and Crystal led her family downstairs. She led them through a few hallways and to an underground tunnel. She walked with them and Killian grew curious.
"Sweetheart, where are we going?"
"Just a little further."
"Where?"
His question was answered when he saw a guard standing in the tunnel. He tried not to say anything but the guard answered the question for him.
"Luna. We weren't expecting to see you so soon."
"It was for Killian."
"I'll show him."
A few seconds later, the guard walked a few steps and disappeared. Killian stared in shock until the guard returned with Kellie.
"You made a portal to Sea Cave Pack?"
"At any point, we feel the kids are in danger, Monica has instructions to bring them here and send them off to Kellie and Samuel. They will be safe."
"Kellie, you agreed to this?"
"These are my god kids. Of course, I would."
"Thank you."
"It's nothing, really."
After saying farewell, Killian walked with Crystal back up top and checked on the rest of the buildings. Everything was going smoothly and the cells were up and ready. Killian was not more relaxed about everything and had his mate to thank.
Alex was a spoiled little boy with an uncertain future. Killian and Crystal made sure Alex and Destiny were taken care of and Monica was made guardian for both children. She took her job seriously and protected both children with her life. Alex was his father's pride and Killian knew he would love him and would raise him to be a good alpha. It was just a matter of time before his training could start.
Alex would be eight when he starts his official training. He knew his mother would have something to say when it started. She had fears because of how she grew up and he would do everything to ease her fears. For now, he knew she enjoyed the company of her children. It gave her strength and peace. He wanted to give her more, but first Andrew had to be taken care of.
Alex advanced faster than Destiny, but Crystal thought it normal for an alpha. She admired little Alex and watching her family, she knew her heart was complete. This was the life she meant to live and she loved it. As the months passed by, she had begun to wonder why Andrew remained silent. She had a son and he was now six months old. She tried not to think about it and stayed here with them.
Killian watched them play in the garden. Monica was close by as well as other guards. He knew she hated the added security but he felt it necessary and she didn't argue.
Andrew sat on the border and watched Crystal and her kids play in the guarded garden. That little boy was his. Killian could keep the girl, but his sister and her son were his. He was determined to have them and he watched them for weeks trying to figure out a way to get them. He watched silently as he saw Killian approach them and wrap his arms around Crystal. She smiled big and kissed him as he held her which made Andrew's blood boil. He watched as the girl ran up to him and he picked her up. He saw as Crystal picked up the boy and pass him to Killian. He gritted his teeth and stormed off. His wolf carrying him faster than normal.
Once back home, he gathered members of his pack to begin the plan to capture Crystal and make her pay for their beta and to retrieve their future alpha. Killian took her away and he would make sure he would suffer. Kellie left and found them and now she has a second chance mate and living on the coast. That was Crystal's fault too. Andrew was more bitter than ever after Kellie rejected him. He knew he would get them back and he wouldn't let them go.
Two weeks later, Crystal was walking down the street with Alex in his stroller. Destiny decided to spend the day with Killian at the office. Monica had a personal day today and was told she needed it. She hated leaving the kids, but couldn't disobey an alpha's order. Crystal walked into Mrs. Randall's bakery and she lost it when she saw them.
"There's my baby girl. And how's my little boy doing?"
"Craving your jellies again, momma."
A while back, Crystal had slipped and called her mom. She quickly apologized but Mrs. Randall wouldn't have it. She said if she was like a mother to her then that's what she would be. Mrs. Randall and her husband never had any children of their own so they were delighted to have adopted grandchildren. She spoiled Alex with her homemade jellies and anything else that little boy wanted. As they sat there talking, Crystal's phone went off. It was from Jessica.
"I have to get this."
"Go ahead, honey."
"Hey, Jes, what's up?"
"Hey, have you heard from Aaron? He was working border control with some other guards. They were supposed to be back at least an hour ago."
"No, I haven't. I'll call Killian."
"Thanks."
She hung up and told Mrs. Randall she had to step outside. She dialed Killian and he could tell the worry already.
"Babe, what's wrong?"
"Jes just called me and said she hasn't heard from Aaron yet. Have you heard anything?"
"No, but I'll get Jake to check it out since the princess is with me."
"I'll come to get her so you can meet them there. I'm on way."
"Alright baby girl. I'll see you in a minute."
She hung up and told Mrs. Randall what was going on and said they would be back. Crystal and Alex and walked out of the shop and down the road heading towards Killian's offices. Alex dropped a toy and she went around to pick it up. She noticed he had to be changed and after getting Destiny and telling Killian to be safe, they went home. Destiny went down for a nap and after changing Alex, she took him to the TV room. He got in some tummy time while she put on some music. She walked around to grab Alex's mat. When she turned, her heart dropped. Alex was being held by Andrew. She paled and could do nothing but stare.
"Andrew, please. Put him down."
"He's mine. I told you your son would be mine. And so are you. It's time to go, sister."
"No, I can't..."
"I'll kill him right here if you don't."
She began to cry as she nodded her head and walked forward. She mind-linked Monica to come to the packhouse in a hurry. She knew by the time Monica got there, she'd be gone. Destiny was still there. She left the mat crumpled on the floor with the music still playing. As they walked to another border that led to Silver Thunder, she mind-linked Killian.
"Killian!"
"Crystal? What is it?"
"He's got us. I'm so sorry."
"Crystal where are."
"Killian, oh god, he's going to kill me."
"Crystal!?"
He heard nothing else through the mind-link and when he called her cell, Monica picked up.
"Alpha?"
"Monica. Where is she?"
"I don't know. She said she wanted me here in a hurry."
"Where?"
"The packhouse."
"On my way."
When he got there, he saw the room a mess. Crystal wouldn't have left it like this. Alex was gone but Destiny was still in her room. Andrew had his wife and son. He began to violently shake as he thought of what would happen. His phone went off in his pocket. His wolf tried to take over once he heard the voice on the other side.
"Killian."
"Andrew, if you hurt them."
"The boy is fine. I want him for myself. As for Crystal, well someone needs to answer for the Beta's death. Plus, Kellie rejected me because of her."
"No. Take me."
"But she's so much fun as I'm sure you know. She's mine as well as your son."
Killian began to panic as the phone clicked with Crystal screaming in the background. He turned and saw the army behind him. Jake and Aaron were ready in fighting gear and had his things ready. He turned to Monica.
"Destiny will go with Mrs. Randall. I need you. Your one job with be to find Alex and bring him home."
"Yes, Alpha."
"Let's go get my family."
He started the walk to Silver Thunder, but this time no would be left when he rescued his family. Andrew wanted a war and now he got one and Killian would show him just what Blood Moon meant. Killian and Drake were on the same page about getting them back and were in harmony which made him lead the pack into battle like never before.
When they reached Silver Thunder, pack members were standing at the ready, blocking the packhouse. They would not stop Killian, for his prince and his queen was beyond them. His green eyes turning a mossy color that scared most of them. He was determined to save Crystal before Andrew took her life. He could sense she was still alive but he wondered if she and Alex were together. Where would he keep her? He stared at her old bedroom window and saw the curtains had been replaced with wood. He knew that that's where she was and he would stop at nothing to get her. Monica stood at the ready to retrieve Alex and leave with him. She knew the Luna would want nothing more than to have her son safe. Andrew stood and watched from inside as Killian stood ready to lay his pack to waste. He smiled an evil grin and brought her forth. Her hands were tied behind her back and her face was bruised. She had been beaten and she was forced on her knees in front of him. Killian froze as he watched Andrew.
"Come get her Killian. She's right here."
Crystal felt the cold steel of the gun and looked at Killian with pleading eyes. Killian stood in his spot and didn't know what to do. She smiled and as Andrew pulled the trigger, she moved. Aurora had taken over in time and when Andrew saw the blue eyes, he tried to run. Aurora got in the door and headed straight for Alex. Killian was done and killed anyone in his way. He would get her and his son safe.
Destiny felt hopeful about her future after the meeting with Black Heart went so well. She sat in her room on the window seat and looking down into the garden. She saw her mom run out; laughing as she turned around and saw Killian. He was smiling and laughing and nodding his head as he walked up to Crystal. He grabbed her hand she had outstretched to keep him back and he pulled her to him. He wrapped his arms around her and Destiny started to laugh as he started to dance with her. There was no music or anything, they were in their own world. She saw her mother look up at her father with such love in her eyes as they stood there swaying back and forth. Killian pecked kisses all over her face and it made Crystal laugh as they kissed each other passionately and went to sit somewhere in the garden to enjoy each other's company. Destiny realized then that that was what she wanted with Tim. Her parents were the true definition of mates. They were completely different, yet they were perfec
Six months went by faster than Destiny ever remembered as she and Tim talked non-stop since they found out. They sneaked into the tunnels to see each other but even as impulsive as they both were, they were always mindful of Killian's rule. Timothy had no choice, Killian was Alpha King, but Killian was Destiny's father and she chose to follow his rule. She figured if she broke his one request and something so life-changing, what kind of Luna would that make her. She focused more on what her mother said and did and followed her to every meeting. On small things, Crystal even let her make the decision and put an input in.Today was different. Today there was a meeting of the packs. All Alphas and Lunas would be present and those old enough to attend the meetings that would be alpha or luna next. She knew Alex would go but when Crystal told Destiny she would also go, she was shocked."Mom, this a major meeting.""One that involves you. You will be there."
A few years had gone by since Crystal's breakdown. She had been worried for nothing as the lunas absolutely loved her guidance. Crystal was now standing on her balcony and watching her children play. Destiny was six months away from finding out what her wolf was, and Alex was still a few years from it. Alex had grown more mature since learning and understanding that one day he would take over as Alpha King. His mate would take her place. Destiny just hoped to find her mate, she didn't really care if he was an alpha or not. Destiny was the oldest out of the children her friends had, and she would be the first to turn. Crystal and Kellie kept talking about how close Destiny and Timothy had gotten. They were sure they were mates.Alex was stopped by Killian as he walked out, and Crystal watched him as him as they talked. Alex told Destiny bye and followed Killian inside. Alex had been doing his Alpha training a
************Sorry it took so long for his chapter guys. Needed some inspiration.***********In the weeks that followed their crowning, they had a new sense of responsibility and new energy that flowed through them us they were connected to all the wolves. With this new energy, they couldn't keep their hands off of each other and Killian said it was worse than when they first mated while she was in heat. Every chance they got they were all over one another. It didn't even matter where they were. He'd lock his office and shed lock her. If they were in their bedroom, it was game on for them. Their wolves even did it if they were in their form. It was like they couldn't get enough of each other and they couldn't stop. The day it simmered down, she doesn't remember them ever having sex as much as they did. She followed his scent to their room and saw him standing there. He looked like a sculpted god standing there on the balco
Crystal woke up on the morning of the first day of the ball. All her family was still asleep and the rest of the pack was too. She walked outside and took a breath of fresh air. Kellie came over and sat with her on the bench."Good morning, Luna.""Good morning, Luna.""Ready for tonight?""I am but it's a question if the guys are. Killian hates dressing up. I let him get away with wearing his cowboy boots instead of dress shoes. He says if he's going to dress like a monkey, he wants one part of him to be him.""Makes sense. Samuel loves dressing in the suit and tie.""I know that doesn't bother you.""Not at all."Just then, Destiny came walking out and sat next to Crystal."Good morning, darling.""Morning, momma.""Sleep okay?""Yeah."The three of them sat and enjoyed the crisp mountain air as they waited for the men to rise. After about an hour, Crystal walked back inside while Kel
Since the treaty of the packs was signed, it was agreed that once a year, the packs would come together for one grand ball to honor the treaty. There was an old castle up in the mountains that was dedicated for the event. The old couple who lived there were more than willing and happy to host such an event. They were honored their home was chosen and thought it ridiculous that omegas were given to them to help them maintain the castle. The omegas were happy to help and loved living with them. The packs were so numerous and even kids were allowed to attend. Houses were built around the property to accommodate everyone. Each pack had their part of the property to settle on if anyone brought a tent for camping while they were there.Crystal stood and watched everyone pack in the house. Everyone was coming except for the omegas. These next two weeks would be a vacation for them. They enjoyed the time off and thanked the Luna. Crystal walked through the town and saw everyone prepa
