Chapter One

Bangalore was at its best weather. The cold wind and warm sunrays coming from the window disturbed a beautiful girls peaceful sleep. Frowning she turned to the other side to avoid it, but she couldn’t find a comfortable spot. Covering her face with the pillow she tried to slip into the land of nod again.

Few minutes later a wide smile crept her face hearing her favourite alarm. It was a song from her prince charming, Ranbir Kapoor’s latest movie. She opened her doe shaped eyes to locate her phone. Placing a kiss on Ranbir’s cheek on her mobile screen she searched for her speaker’s remote.

Playing her favourite song and increasing the volume to maximum, Myra Murthy kick started her day.

"Myraaaaaa" Murthy mansion heard a united scream of all the people in the house after hearing the loud music first thing in the morning. To put an end to their everyday problem, a beautiful lady in her mid forties entered her room.

“Mayu, honey how many times should I tell you, not to play music that loud first thing in the morning? This is not your party floor and neither do we enjoy your Ranbir’s songs in the morning” Her aunt, Shailaja spoke in a strict yet loving tone.

She lazily moved out of her bed and opening her big puffy doe eyes completely she went and hugged her aunty and placed a kiss on her cheek.

 "Good morning mama bear" she said in her extra sweet babyish sugary voice which could melt the hardest rocks present and her aunt was no exception.

“You are becoming naughty day by day. And I am aware of your ways of making people bend to your commands, but its not going to work on me” Shailaja replied placing a kiss on Myra’s cheek patting it slightly making her giggle.

“You know how much I love Ranbir right. And trust me, he is becoming irresistible with every passing day. Its like he has cast a spell on me” Myra said walking towards the huge poster of Ranbir in her room. Caressing his face with utmost love she sighed dreaming annoying Shailaja. To add more fuel to the fire, she placed her pouty lips on the corner of his lips.

“How do you manage to look so handsome everyday? Tell me one thing, if I propose you will you marry me? I will fight with the whole world for our love” she started her daily rant with the poster. Shaking her head in disbelief Shailaja spoke in an irritated tone

“Okay enough for today morning. I don’t have time for this. Me and your uncle have to leave for a meeting in an hour. Vihaan is out for his morning jog and asked me to tell you that he wants to have breakfast with you. So get ready and come down by the time he’s home. You know that he is not going to eat without you. Freshen up. I am leaving and I want you downstairs at the table in 20 minutes. And if I come to know that you have skipped your breakfast once again today, I will punish you myself and I am serious”

Shailaja left the room warning her niece. Myra smiled at the mother figure. Shailaja acted strict but the whole world knew her love for Myra.

Same time: Location Mumbai

A girl of around 21 years was standing on the top of a hill watching the rising sun locked in someone’s arms. Looking at the sun she turned to face of the person who had wrapped his arms around her. Both were looking into each others eyes lovingly

"I love you Avni" said the person looking at her

"I love you too Ranbir" Avni replied with red hue leaking into her cheeks. They were about to kiss when

"Avni" a girl of around her same age walked into the room screaming at the top of her voice, which disturbed her sleep and she couldn’t kiss Him...Again…!!!

“Avni, what the hell is wrong with you. To which monkey were you professing your love early in the morning. Don’t you want to go to college? Did you forget that we have a test today? And FYI the professor hates me! He will fail me if I don’t reach his class on time! And I don’t want that to happen. So move your lazy ass of the bed so that we reach on time.” She was blabbering but the person who was supposed to listen was still lost in her dream.

On not getting any reply, she lifted her head only to turn red in anger. Shaking Avni violently to bring her out of her trance, Zara blasted her bff.

“Avni Malhotra. I am warning you for the last time this morning. If you don’t move to the washroom and freshen up I am going to complain to Ayaan that you were saying I love you to some stranger in your weird dream! And I am serious. That stupid professor is going to fail me and not you, because you are the sister of Ayaan Malhotra. I am begging you, please get up and get ready”

Zara folded her hands and requested an irritated Avni.

“Good morning my handsome Rockstar brother” Zara wished her best friend’s brother who was sipping his coffee waiting for his darling sisters.

“Very good morning sweetheart. Looks like someone is in a good mood today” he said ruffling her hair playfully making her pout.

“Bhai!” she whined because he had ruined her hair.

“I will be in a super good mood, only if I don’t fail my test today” she said with a frown.

“You are just overreacting. No one is going to fail you and if he even tries to do that, he will have to face me first” Avni said in a final tone making the duo smile at her possessiveness.

“I pity the poor guy who has to face Avni Malhotra’s wrath” Ayaan said with a wink making Zara laugh. His laughter died seeing his sisters stern face. Gulping the lump in his throat, he diverted the topic

“Lets have breakfast girls. I have a meeting at 10 and I need my lucky charms wishes before I leave. Avni before you kill Zara, let me tell you, I asked her to wake you up because I have to leave a little early today”

The trio sat down for breakfast

“Zara, if that professor creates any trouble, call me the next instant! I will look into the matter, okay honey?” he informed lovingly making Zara sigh! Her brother was way over protective! Not to invite any trouble, she bobbed her head in a yes and continued eating.

“Okay guys! Time to leave. Have a great day and try to stay out of trouble in your college.” Ayaan said standing up placing a kiss on their forehead.

“Avni, go a little easy on your professor, he has a family who’s dependent on him. And it’s okay to follow rules sometimes” Ayaan said passing a wink and ran off before she could catch him.

"Baby doll, I’m home. Come down soon. I am very hungry. Lets have breakfast together. I will freshen up and come down in 10" shouted Vihaan as soon as he entered the house.

"Coming" Myra replied from her room.

After 15 minutes the bro-sis were sitting on the table taking random things when Vihaan started turned serious. 

"Myra" Vihaan started not knowing where to start and how to say it. Sensing this tension on her ever smiling and loving brother’s face she immediately got up from her chair and went towards him placed her hand on his shoulder and continued

“Bhai! What’s the matter? Is everything okay? Why are you so serious? Are Vaibhav and Aradhya fine?”

“I am fine baby. Just sit and let me explain”
