Chapter 7

The night is known for it's calmness and silence.Although the statement is true but the danger and evil lurking behind the calmness and silence cannot be overemphasized.

A man in his early 40's drove into the thick dark forest located in a small remote area faraway from the city.Sounds of crickets making a distinctive chirp and a toad croaking can be heard from a long distance,black wolves skulk behind trees as their fiery white glowing eyes blink in the darkness.According to the history of the village,the forest have claimed the lives of both the young and the old villagers.This weird and unusual phenomenon led to the migration of the rest of the villagers because no one knows who'll be the next victim of the cruel circumstance.

The man parked his car at the entrance of a cave deep down in the forest.He alighted and moved close to the entrance where a huge round stone serves as a door to the cave.

Creeping phlox spread it's flower to cover the stone making it look like a shield.The man opened a small part of the flower revealing the shape of a crystal gem on the stone.He quickly opened his bag and brought out a crystal gem.He raised the gem up and the reflection of the light coming from it opened the stone.

The internal part of the cave is so dark as there are no trails of light there.The man walked into the cave with a torch in his hand that serves as a light for him.He entered the cave where he came across the skeletons,skulls and bones of some people who visited the cave but met with their dooms and where unable to return alive.

The man walked for almost five minutes before getting to an open space in the middle of the cave.

The reflection of the light coming from the moon shines on a demon's statue that was lying inside a coffin on the ground.The man quickly dropped his bag and brought out a chalk and a book from the bag.He drew a strange diagram with the chalk he was holding on the ground,after that he opened a page of the book and read a spell out.

A mighty whirlwind suddenly rolled into the cave immediately the man chanted the last spell from the book,the whirlwind fought for almost ten minutes before settling down into the coffin.Everywhere became calm and silent as if nothing happened,the man rolled the stone he used as a shield against the whirlwind away and moved closer to the coffin to check if the statue is still there,but he couldn't find it anymore.

The man suddenly raised his head and a demon who's eyes were red like brimstone and it's body burning with fire stood in front him growling.

The demon moved close to the man and pulled him against the wall,he grabbed his neck and started choking him while the man keep gasping for breath.

"Quién eres tú(who are you)".The demon asked in Spanish.

"My name is Derek.Please spare my life master".The man answered.

"¿Por qué debería perdonarte la vida?(why should I spare your life?)"The demon asked.

"I am your servant.I'll do anything you want".Derek replied.

"Ya lo veremos(we'll see about that)".The demon said releasing him from his grab.

Derek is a doctor and also the CEO of the hospital he's working for.His father Fernando West who was a scientist was murdered by the Spanish government when he went rogue after creating a deadly substance.Fernando's properties were ceased by the government and his family were thrown into the cold street of Spain.

Derek lost his mother when he was young,his mother died when giving birth to his younger sister Valentino.He roamed the street of Spain with his sister and after some months,he was able to secure a job in a restaurant.Three months after securing a job,he engaged himself in a fistfight with three gangsters who tried to steal his money when he was walking home in the night.He was able to defeat them that night all by himself.

The gangsters who promised to take revenge on him later traced him down to his house,but unfortunately it was his younger sister that was at home.The three men took their revenge by raping his sister to death.

Derek returned home later in the night only for him to meet the corpse of his younger sister lying down on the floor.He therefore resigned from his job just to search for the men that killed his sister,he searched every nooks and crannies of the city but couldn't find them.After his fruitless search,he decided to go back to the street to start life afresh.

He was later discovered by a wealthy politician whom he saved from the hands of assassins during his campaign.Derek narrated everything about him to the man and the politician decided to send him back to school after realizing the kind of abilities he possesses.

Derek later become the CEO of the hospital owned by the politician after graduating from school.He was in his office one hot afternoon when he remembered the ancient book his father gave to him the night before he died,he decided to take a look at it.

It was in the book Derek discovered how Diemon was tricked and turned to a statue by a Chinese monk,he also found the secret cave where Diemon was kept for 15 years in the book.He later went in search of the crystal gem needed to open the cave and also the spell book he needed to resurrect Diemon again.

"El día del sacrificio está cerca(The day for the sacrifice is near)".Diemon said.

"I'm aware master.What will you request I do for you".Derek replied.

"Quiero que busques a la chica necesaria para el sacrificio(I want you to search for girl needed for the sacrifice)".Diemon commanded.

"Your wish is my command master".Derek said bowing down.

Diemon raised his hand and the places that was destroyed by the whirlwind in the cave were restored back to normal.Derek left the cave promising to search for the girl needed for the sacrifice as Diemon have commanded.

Diemon thereafter summoned some dark forces after Derek have left the cave,the dark forces were also sent out to search for the girl he needed for the sacrifice because he's finding it difficult to trust Derek.
