2020-11-12 14:50:38Richard was on duty when he received a call that a man have been knocked down by a hit and run driver somewhere in the city,he immediately informed one of his colleagues to call the hospital to send an ambulance to the location where the accident occured while they'll also go to check things out themselves.Richard drove to the scene and saw two EMTs carrying the man that was knocked down with a stretcher into the ambulance.He moved closer to them to check the person that was knocked down and he also ask the EMTs some questions before allowing them to leave.
The man was rushed into the hospital and two nurses came to carry him in a stretcher into the building.Blake was still in the hospital when the man was rushed in,she called one of the nurses and asked her what happened."He was knocked down by a hit and run driver".The nurse answered her.The man was attended to and after some minutes one of the nurses walked out of the ward where the man was admitted to with a file in her hand.Blake decided to enter the ward and also check the man herself,the man was sleeping when she entered the ward.She would have loved to ask the man what really happened but the man was already sleeping when she entered the ward.She decided to leave and allow the man to rest,but she stopped abruptly and turned when she saw the same tattoo that was on the patient that was rushed into the hospital a week ago on the neck of the man.Blake moved closer to be sure of what she saw."It was the same tattoo that was on him",she said as she become startled."What's going on?,why is he with the same tattoo?".She asked herself."I think there's more to this tattoo and I need to find out".She said and walked out of the ward.Blake walked to the reception where Sarah's friend where seated waiting for her to come out of the ward."I think you guys should be heading home by now,it's getting late already".Blake said and walked them to the main gate where they all took a cab to their various destinations.She entered the hospital after sending the kids home and she was immediately informed that her daughter is awake.She entered Sarah's ward and met her lying down on the bed looking so pale with a swollen face."What am I doing here mum?".She asked."We found you lying down all alone in the woods,you got me scared Sarah".Blake said hugging her."I want to go home mum,please take me home".She pleaded releasing herself from Blake."I'll take you home after meeting with someone".Blake replied."Who is that?.I don't want to meet with anyone".Sarah said as she lie down backing her mother on the hospital bed."C'mon Sarah I mean no harm for you,the person you're to meet is going to help you if you talk to him".Blake urged her.Sarah refused to respond to her mother as she maintained her position on the bed,Blake touched her to gain her attention but she didn't move an inch on the bed.Blake left her ward waiting for the psychologist her boss recommended for her to arrive at the hospital before taking her leave,an hour later the psychologist showed up and went straight to Mr Mane's office.Blake was summoned immediately and she took the psychologist to Sarah's ward where she left both of them to discuss.Sarah kept mute as the psychologist keep asking her different questions,she has already made up her mind not to mention anything to the man because no one has ever believed what she had to say,but something struck her when the man said he has passed through the same ordeal she is passing through.Sarah kept wondering how he knew what she's passing through."How did you know what I'm passing through".Sarah finally turned to face the psychologist."I've heard a little story about you from your mum and moreover it's written all over you".The psychologist answered.Sarah later disclosed everything she's passing through to the psychologist who later assured her everything will be alright before he left her ward.Few hours later the psychologist entered Sarah's ward with her mother with two strange hefty men who forcefully tied her up while she struggled and pleaded to her mother to help her.Blake stood still while the men tied her daughter up."Where are they taking me to mum?".Sarah asked with tears in her eyes."Somewhere safe and good for you Sarah".Blake said holding back the tears that formed in her eyes.Sarah looked at her mum with hatred in her eyes as she was been taken away by the men."I know you'll despise me in your heart,but I pray you'll realise someday that I did what I thought was right".Blake said in her heart.Blake couldn't hold the tears in her eyes anymore,she kept weeping like a small child as the men took her daughter away.The psychologist walked up to Blake and assured her that her daughter will be fine,after consoling Blake the psychologist followed the men out of the hospital.Blake did was she thought was best for her daughter but some part of her keeps telling her she has made a wrong decision. * * *The van set to transport Sarah to the psychiatrist hospital zoomed off heading towards the road that leads to the hospital.Sarah was cuffed to the stretcher she's lying on to prevent her from escaping.They were few metres away from the hospital when the driver suddenly make a U-turn and drove down to the outskirt of the city.The driver stopped the van near a bridge and alighted,he walked to the back of the van and knocked thrice.The men with Sarah at the back quickly blindfolded her and opened the door.After waiting for some minutes,a car suddenly pulled up across the bridge and stopped when it got to the middle of the bridge.The psychologist who was sitting in the van came down and walked to meet the men in the car,they chatted for a while and the psychologist waved his hand to his men across the bridge to bring Sarah.Some money was given to the psychologist and his men for their service and the car zoomed off with Sarah in it.
