2020-11-13 22:50:46Richard got home expecting to see Sarah in their room,but he couldn't find her.He went to Dave's room to check if they are around and he met them playing game.
"Where's Sarah and your mum?".Richard asked."I don't know dad,they ain't home when we returned from school".Dave answered concentrating on the game he was playing.Richard walked down to the sitting room waiting for Blake and Sarah to return home.Blake finally returned an hour later looking stressed out and unhappy.Her eyeballs have become swollen due to the tears she was shedding at the hospital.Richard couldn't help but ask when he didn't see Sarah with her."Where's Sarah?.She's not with you?",and why are your eyeballs swollen?.Have you been crying?.Richard interrogated."It's a long story dear and I'm too tired to talk about it now".Blake replied as she turned and started walking to her room.Richard stopped her and insisted he'll like to know where Sarah was.She narrated everything that happened to her husband who can't believe what he heard."You allow some stranger take my daughter to a psychiatric hospital without my consent?".Richard said looking furious."It's for her own good Richard.I booked an appointment with a psychologist and he's the one that actually adviced me to take Sarah to the psychiatrist hospital".Blake explained."I can't believe you just uttered those words out,why don't you call to inform me to give my consent before taking her anywhere".Richard yelled at her."It's so urgent that I didn't even remember to give you a call.I'm so sorry Richard".Blake pleaded.Richard failed to listen to her plea,he gave his wife 24 hours to find his daughter and bring her back home or else he'll do something stupid. * * *Blake woke up in the middle of the night to receive a call,it's from work she was informed that the patient she treated a week ago is dead and the colour of his body changed as if it reacted to some kind of experiment.She stood up immediately and drove to the hospital to check the corpse herself because she didn't believe what she was told.She entered the patient's ward and couldn't believe what she saw."What happened to him?".She asked standing at the entrance of the door."We met him like this.I don't really know what happened to him".One of the nurses answered.The death of Blake's father flashed through her mind and she remembered her father's dead body also changed just like him.The tattoo she saw on his neck a week ago was no more there and this make her kept wondering what's going on."I can't believe this,I'm sure there's more to this,but I just can't figure out what it is".Blake said to herself."I think there's somewhere I need to go".She walked out of the room leaving the other nurses who were scared to pack the patient's dead body. * * *Blake drove past a signage displaying "Welcome To C.A Beverly hills",which is the name of the city she just arrived in.She drove into a bushy part and arrived at a small house after driving for almost twenty-five minutes.She parked her car in front of the house and walked to the door,she knocked on the door expecting an answer but there was no reply.After knocking for sometime and no one showed up,she decided to turn back and leave thinking maybe the owner of the house is no longer living there.She was about to leave when someone pointed a gun at her head."Don't even dare move an inch,who are you?,and what are you doing here?".The voice asked."My name is Blake and I came here in search of a long time friend but couldn't find him here anymore,maybe he has relocated.Please don't kill me".Blake pleaded raising up her hands."What is the name of the man you're searching for?".The voice asked again."His name is George.He was my course mate back then at the college".Blake said trembling."Blake is that really you?".The voice asked."Yes it's me do you know me?".Blake answered looking confused."It's me George.I'm George".The voice said dropping the gun."George is that really you?".Blake asked as she turned to face the man."Yes it's me Blake.what are you doing here?".George asked hugging her."I need your help George,it's very urgent please".Blake answered looking sad."What's wrong Blake?,Are you alright?".George asked leading her into the house.Blake narrated her ordeal to George in no time.George felt a great compassion for her because it's not easy for a woman to pass through what she's passing through."You still haven't told me what brought you here".George said."Actually there's this strange tattoo that keeps showing up.I saw it on two of my patient's neck with a Greek word inscribed beneath it.Unfortunately I don't understand Greek language,I'm here so that you can translate the word for me".Blake answered searching through her phone for the picture of the tattoo she snapped in the hospital but she couldn't find it."I snapped the picture,I'm sure I did".She said as she keeps searching for the picture but still couldn't find it."Are you sure you've not deleted the picture?".George asked."No I didn't.I don't remember deleting the picture".She answered."There's another solution Blake,since you've seen the tattoo before maybe you can describe it for me"George said."That shouldn't be a problem".Blake answered him."It's an inscription of two blood axes crossing each other with a Greek word written under it".She explained.After describing the tattoo for him.George ran into his small library in the house and brought out an old ancient book.He opened the book to a particular page and showed her the picture."Is this what you're talking about?".George asked showing the picture to Sarah."Yes this is the exact tattoo I saw.How did you?".Blake asked starring at him."I thought this is over,but I think I was wrong.It has just begun".George uttered starring at one of the pictures in the room leaving Blake in a confused state.
