LOGINLucy Santaria looked at her reflection in the mirror as she watched Anna, her personal maid carefully knit her ginger red hair into a French braid. She slowly smiled at it.
“You smile my princess, what brings about this lips concave nature if I may ask.”
Lucy sighed and looked at Anna's reflection on the mirror.
“I saw him today Anna, and for a moment I thought I'll stop breathing. You know, that feeling when you see someone you hold very close to heart.” she sighed again. “ Just can't explain it Anna.”
She saw Anna smile. “ Tony must have stolen a big part of your heart.”
“No Anna.....he's got my whole heart.”
The door slowly opened revealing Marla, Lucy's mum.
“Anna, may you exit the room?”
Anna quickly obeyed and bowed before exiting the room. My mum walked to the unfinished braid and began knitting. We were silent for a couple minutes before she broke the silence.
“The prince is already here Lucy and your dad wants to see you right away.”
“Mum, you know......”
“Be quiet Lucy and behave like the well brought up lady you are. You have ten minutes to dress up and join us for dinner.” She ordered.
With that she let the braid fall to my back and left. Lucy stared at the mirror, now she was sure and certain she had to do what she had been planning seven months ago.....To escape.
Couple of minutes later.
“Lucy!” her dad called out.
“Make yourself comfortable beside your husband to be.”
Lucy stared at the smiling prince of orloff and then to her dad. Her mum tried to make eye contacts with her so she could talk some eye contact sense into her before she made any negative move. As if getting a mind contact instead, Lucy walked to the seat which was directed to her earlier.

“What the hell did you think you were doing?”
I statled at the ferocious voice which happened to come from a certain Jessica Johansen.
“Good morning Jess what's up?” I questioned hoping it will help somehow with the mood she was putting on.
“Nothing's good about the morning Audrina Mary Hoodson. Especially finding you at the center of your bed in the middle of your birthday party.”
“Oh that? Well....I'm so sorry, to tell the truth Jess, I really don't know what happened to me last night. I presume it was the effect of excess alcohol .”
I flashed a smile hoping she'll understand and forgive me but I was so wrong, her anger was denser than my apologies.
She narrowed her eyes at me “ On one condition will I accept your apology.” with that, she crossed her arms on her chest.
“Which is.......?”
The smirk she put on almost made me want to turn back the hands of time to prevent the god-damned sleep from taking control over me.....but then, what really happened that night? The only thing I could remember was following something—actually this thing's got a name— yeah right. A ghost. No hold on. Ghosts don't exist. It probably was just some invitee trying to play some game on me or the awful effect of alcohol, How I got myself on that bed? I can't remember, but thanks to it though I got to embrace my bed at the early time of eleven forty five pm......that was “early” according Jess.
“Hook me up with that gorgeous new friend of yours?” she nudged me.
“Which— Holy crap!” I exclaimed with my palms on my face after realizing who she was actually referring to. “ Jess, how many times will I tell you he's not my friend?”
“I won't fall for that Audrey, you got to know him before everyone else in the class.”
I was about reminding her that not only me but we met him before any other person that night at the party, but then again it came to mind that she didn't remember anything about that night. That reminds me of something, I got one or two things to ask the handsome weirdo. “ You do that and you are forgiven for all the wrongs you've caused me.”
My mouth was agape hearing that “Jess!”
She grinned “Oh! come on, just kidding ok, though not really kidding about you hooking us up.”
~~~~~~~~
After Jess and I parted ways, I headed to the football field where I found the person I was looking for due to eye following. Jess told me she had promised her granny she was going to help her bake some cupcakes against the ladies tea night.
Alex's conspicuous features were what caught my attention upon arrival.
“Alex right? ” I questioned trying to think on the next thing to say immediately after his respond.
“The one and only, Charmante Audrina.”
My cheeks subconsciously flushed a bright red, if I didn't know the reason I was here I sure would have stood next to him all day staring at his hypnotizing ice blue eyes. Still I subconsciously shook my head off the thought and immediately narrowed my eyes.
“What in the world did you do to my friends that night at the party?”
“Why will you think I did something to them?” Now his eyes locked mine and his hands were buried into his pockets and for a bit I was speechless on how gorgeous this guy was.
“None of them seem to remember a thing about the fight which took place that night.”
“And you, what do you think you can remember?”
He took a step closer to me, if he took any further step he'll be closing the tiny gap which existed between us. The atmosphere around me had changed as I brainstormed on what happened that day.
“ well.......you.....” I began to stammer.
“I.....?”
All of a sudden I couldn't remember a thing. My brain was more on less a sheet of blank paper. “ Waiting....” he said.
What was actually going on? I flushed in anger. “ You know what? I don't know how you do that but what ever it is I'll uncover it.”
I stormed out of his presence.
Walking home alone was way too lonely, how I wish Jess was here with me especially after the most embarrassing thing I just went through. Nothing seem to be normal lately.
“Hey!”
My heart sank to my big toe on hearing the voice. Finally getting to the owner of voice I automatically felt relieved. “ Sorry if I statled you, wasn't my intention. ”
Apology accepted.
“It's ok. I should blame myself for having my mind completely out of the environment. ”
“Today being my lucky day I want to use it as an opportunity to take you out tonight if you don't mind.”
Mind? Oh please. I've been waiting for this moment for ages
“Oh! ” I smiled “ Sure I don't mind.”
His coffee brown eyes glittered and his lips revealed those wonderful set of white teeth.
“Cool! I'll be at your place at eighteen hour.”
I pictured Jess's facial expression when I tell her I had a wonderful date with Scott last night. She'll be buzzing questions all over me like a honeybee while I laughed my fuckin' ass out.
No time to waste, I had barely two hours to prepare for my date.
“Dinner's served Audrey.”
I heard my mum yelling from downstairs, oh no! I hadn't notified my parents of my date. I tied my hair into ponytail— not suitable for a date but then, I really sucked when it came to styling of hair. Messy bun and ponytail was all I could do.
The doorbell rang immediately I finished doing my ponytail. I imagined the catastrophe which was about taking place downstairs.
“Hello Mrs Hoodson.” I heard the familiar voice say.
I shot my eyes, waiting for the roof blowing voice I was expecting to hear.
“Audrina.” My mum's voice was surprisingly calm. And that's when I came to sight.
Scott was comfortably seated on the sofa opposite my dad discussing and laughing over soccer like good old friends.
“Is there something you want to tell us?” The seriously laughing Scott stood up to full height and had his gaze on me now.
“I'm sorry mum, sorry dad......”
“Don't be sweety, this guy is actually cool.....I think I like him.”
“Phil!”
I continued. “I didn't tell you about my date tonight.”
“You lucky you're a charming young man......bring her back before eight." My dad winked at me before tapping him on the shoulder.
“ I'll do just that Mr Hoodson. ”
Before reaching the black hatchback, Scott, dressed in a pair of black jeans and a torso almost-exposing White t-shirt walked past me to open the door to the passengers seat.
“You look amazingly beautiful tonight.” he said.
I was dressed into a navy blue below knee silky dress and thanks to the makeup kit Jess let me own after my birthday party. I smiled at him before getting into the car.
“Thank you Scott.”
Three minutes to my date's arrival, I was standing infront of my full length mirror digesting my new look. The barely noticeable makeup I had complemented the blush pink lace dress I had on. It was given to me on my sixteenth birthday by my cousin Neiyah.Love at first sight defined the dress and I, well that was before I got it out of its sophisticated rectangular box. Its length was so not me: three inches below my butt. Immediately, I tossed the pieced of material somewhere in my closet until this day. Change is the only constant thing.The doorbell brought me back to earth, my heart began to race with fingers crossed, I prayed everything goes on smoothly as I planned.I smoothen the edges of the hair which led to a perfect ponytail.Here stood a part of my heart, looking dangerously handsome in his immaculate white-rolled up sleeved shirt on a pair of black skinny jeans and black converse. His lips owned a beautiful blood red rose flower
This place has a habit of giving me goosebumps, not just the secluded house but the neighborhood too, it was simply lifeless and unhabitable. This place was definitely no way part of town— unreasonable distance from the last house this one and no house after it.How Jess came across this place, is an unanswered question. I realized I had been standing in front of the house for while, not because I was thinking on how to enter but because I was terrified to the core. I leaned my bicycle to a big tree beside Mr. Booky's home.Ok Aud, here we go.I walked up to the door and gave it a knock, another one followed when no reply came up during the first knock. I sighed, he probably wasn't home, perhaps I should go and return some other time. I pivoted to begin my journey back home but was stopped midway into the beginning of the journey by the sudden sound of a iron falling onto the floor. I stared at the tattered house to glue my eyes on the dormer
You will have to pass through me first father.” Lucy protested.Her father's eyes widened in surprise and disappointment. He raised a hand to one of the guards who had already reached for Tony's right hand to stop.Trying to keep calm the king turned to Anna,“ Why is she here Anna? Punishment awaits you for disobedience of royal order. ”“ Leave her out of this father.” Lucy interrupted. “ I acknowledge my mistake upon the land. But you left me with no choice father.”“ You are my only child Lucy and the last thing I'll ever do is hurt you despite your unforgivable mistake.” he walked to his daughter and cupped her cheek with his right hand, his thumb gently stroking her temple accompanied by a faint smile. “ I need just one thing from you daughter.”“ Anything I'll do to save the father of my unborn.”The king flinched at her words. “ I do not want you around him till it is born.”
“Who has she been seeing?” king Alfred gushed as he looked down at his wife with furrowed brows.“ N-no one your highness.” her face was plastered to the floor with both hands crossed in front of tighs.“ You have the guts to lie in my face Marla? I'll ask you one more time. Who did this to her?” he hurled.With shaky hands and teary eyes, she let go the little information she had been keeping all along concerning her daughter,though it wouldn't help the catastrophic damage.“ Tony he is called.” she lifted her head and tried reaching her husband's arm for a little strength and comfort though she already knew how he would react to it. As right as she was he simply took a step back.“ believe me your highness, I wasn't aware of anything until four weeks ago. I begged her but she wouldn't listen, I tried—”“ You didn't try hard enough woman.” his voice was so loud that it echoed through the empty corridor.
Alex's POV.I didn't like to intrude into people's privacy until now, last I checked the vampire detecting machine wasn't in existence until couple of minutes ago.Valérex was the dreamland before the unbelievable occured.Werewolves became our worst enemies and vice versa, reasons why some goddamm guy created this machines to detect the presence of any vampire an inch away from Rexo, the werewolf kingdom, then I checked again, this guy was practically burned alive like six hundred years ago...how in the world does this come about??There's only one way to know.Luck being on my side, she spent not much time with Aud after school. The earlier I did what I had to do, the better for me, and my future too.After what seemed like an hour of stalking, I decided to take actions."Hold on I'll be there in a bit."That was pretty much of a time, considering the slow human moves in addition to the fact she's fe
“Your Majesty, her temperature seems to increase each flying second.” Anna reported, her head focused on the marble floor with both hands formally crossed.Queen Marla frowned. Reached for the bed where her only daughter laid.“Dear lord! I hope it's just a little fever.” She Prayed.“Should your highness be informed?” Anna asked. Head still focused to nothing but the floor.Already seated Queen Marla did nothing but nod to the maid. Her eyes gently closed releasing colorless pair of tears. She reached for the towel on Lucy's head and dipped it into the already Luke warm water.“How is she? ” King Alfred stopped pacing back and forth immediately he spotted the man in an immaculate white apron over a pair of pants leaving his daughters room.Worry and fear was now written all over Queen Marla's face.The grey haired doctor appeared with a worried look on his f
